House Painting reviews in Arlington

    123 Remodeling Roofing LLC
I started reaching out for quotes on removing my aluminum siding and replacing it with Hardie, and then painting the full exterior of the house. 123 Remodeling reached out quickly, was able to schedule the estimate in a timely manner, and came up with a quote that was very competitive. (It was half the price from the big box stores.) I scheduled the service for a month out, and they were able to complete the job in four days. They even helped me catch my dog when I accidentally let them out without checking to see if the gate was open. The siding looks beautiful, and they were able to repair portions of my exterior that had rotted from poor drainage. They sanded away 60 years worth of paint layers and made sure that there were no weird bubbles or flakes in the paint. Overall, I am very happy with the results!

    Dream Construction
We are so happy we found Dream Construction! I dont usually write reviews but this one had to be written. The previous home owners had tacked on an addition to the back of our house before we bought it. In recent years the concrete and foundation of the addition began to crack, causing issues for the entire house. After reaching out to 4 companies for quotes, we ultimately chose Dream Construction to tear down the addition. With it being a safety concern, we had a tight timeline. Joe was able to get the ball rolling quickly and did what he could to make sure our timeline was met. He kept in communications with us and provided honest feedback every step of the way. Because the addition had clearly not been built correctly in the first place, there were a lot of unknowns with our project. Joe didnt shy away from any of the challenges, managed our additional requests well and stayed within our budget. The safety of our dogs was a major concern before we started this project. Its hard to keep a construction area clean but Joe and his crew did a wonderful job. While the work was happening there was minimal disruption to our daily lives. I cant say enough great things about this company and their work. We needed a company who we could trust to do the work right. Dream Construction is definitely that company. They are very easy to work with and care about their customers. I highly recommend them! Joe is already working on a quote for our next job.

    Gold Stars Painting
Gold Star was a great contractor to work with from start to finish. They were very clear in person what would be included in the scope of work and it was all outlined in the contract before they started the job. Very professional and reasonably priced!

    Make Ready Renovation
MakeReady is one of the best general contractors i have had the pleasure to work with. They do what they say they will do in time, on budget, without having to supervise every step of the way. They are worth their weight in gold. It took them a month to replace foundation, redo bathrooms, refloor a house, repair drywall, paint interior an exterior, paint the kitchen cabinets, install granite countertops, and clean the job site

    Pro Brush Painting
I knew from researching and reading reviews left by other clients that I was going to use ProBrush six months before I was actually ready to have the job done. I was not disappointed in my choice. The job was reasonably bid and finished in a timely manner. All my questions and concerns were addressed and the staff and workers were efficient in their jobs. Thank you Jesse, Rene, Jose, Able, Jerry, Emily and the rest of the team for streamlining this project. I will be in contact in the spring for my next project and look forward to dealing with you again.

    Southern Painting - Arlington/Mansfield
I had 4 estimates. I chose Southern Painting because of Chris White. He is very professional and answered all my questions. I felt pressured by the other companies to quickly make a decision to choose them. The painters did a great job.

Great. I first hired Kings Roofing to do the roof and patio cover. Things went so well that I had them come back and do guttering, add a sidewalk and paint the house. I'd hire them again. Quality of work was excellent and they met their schedule commitments. Easy to work with. Turned out to be much easier than anticipated.

    Stephens Painting Inc
From start to finish, our experience was great. Mark was very thorough with the quote and was patient with our scheduling conflicts. Becky was a joy to work with. The guys that came to paint were professional, friendly and did a great job! We highly recommend Stephens Painting and will use them again in the future.

    Southern Painting - Arlington/Mansfield
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Southern Painting. Chris White Oversaw my job beginning to end. He was punctual and saw through every detail, making a very good call on a paint choice. His crew was very professional and polite. I was amazed at how fluid their process is. I left for work that morning and came home to find the job almost totally complete. The workers were very clean and left no mess behind. I had no pressure, no hard sell and no up-selling tactic. While I seldom go into a project without fear of the unknown Chris put me at total ease and I trusted him completely. He lived up to and even exceeded every expectation I had. I will be using him and Southern Painting again and wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

    JEDI Services
BUYER BEWARE! Jason is a pleasant person who seems professional, but the quality of the work provided and the integrity of his service was a horrible disappointment. Here are 5 major things (not everything) that happened when I hired him as a general contractor for my hail damage claim 1) In spite of a storm warning, Jason Day's (owner) roofers insisted on trying to get the roof done; the storm blew in quickly and rain poured into my house with the roof uncovered. Afterward, the job was finished quickly. Now, Jason Day (JEDI Services) is refusing to stand behind his 10-year workmanship warranty. Two roofers have gone on my roof, taken pictures, written evaluations detailing improper installation (by the crew Jason hired while under contract with me for a total roof replacement); yet, Jason Day (JEDI Services, Inc.) refuses to uphold his warranty even though he collected $11.5K for the roof. 2) When Jason Day (JEDI Services) sent subcontractors to my house to replace the shed, they began constructing a new shed that was larger than the old one. The error was on the contractor/subcontractor endthats what they purchased and thats what they started putting together. When they caught their mistake and called Jason, he tried to get me to pay for the difference because the new one was larger! 3) Jason Day (JEDI Services) billed my insurance company with a statement of completion two months after he began work (and did not tell meI found out from them; they sent me a copy as evidence). The work was NOWHERE close to being completed. The start date was the first week of June and the estimated completion was the first week of July. As of the first week of December, I was still waiting on some of the smaller pieces to be finished. 4) Jason would not come to the house to inspect the work his subcontractors were doing (roof, paint, fence, shed, gutters, trim, a/c); he insisted that he trusted their work. Multiple times I had to call him back to point out things that were unfinished or done improperly. 5) Jason Day (JEDI Services) often failed to return phone calls or emails related to concerns about delays, requests for documents, no-shows or questions. (Lately, this is still the case.) Only after we had a signed contract and he was not delivering as promised, did he mention an on-going, debilitating health condition (that kept him from working for weeks at a time due to multiple hospitalizations). On two occasions, he did, however, IMMEDIATELY return a text when I said I was at the bank with a check.
