    Budget Blinds-Flower Mound & Greater Mid Cities
    Jeff was very responsive and helpful.  He came out to our new home while it was under construction and educated us between the various types of blinds.  Jeff made recommendations based on our budget and our style.  He took the time to measure each of our windows and provided us with a reasonable quote.  On the day of install, he was prompt and quickly installed our new blinds.  He cleaned-up after himself and took all the  boxes with him.  Jeff even worked around our painters, movers, and delivery guys.  He was very flexible and accommodating.  Overall, Jeff was great to work with and we were able to have our blinds in the day after closing.

    Southwest Interiors Window Coverings
    UPDATE:  After submitting this review we were contacted immediately by Southwest Interiors.  They asked to come to check the blinds and bring a Manufacturer's rep along with them.  After checking the blinds it was determined that we had several blinds that had a defective piece in them that wasn't allowing the blinds to go up/down as they should.  The manufacturer was very accommodating and offered to replace "all" of the blinds at not cost to us.  We are extremely pleased with the outcome and only wish that it would have been checked and corrected in this manner from the beginning.



    My initial review is accurate with exception of a typo on the price.  It is correct.  They were $5,000.  In response to the total of the blinds in question that were malfunctioning; the cost is irrelevant.  Whether it had been 2 blinds or 22 the service should be the same.

     











    Moved into our home in August and blinds were installed







    several weeks after.  In January when







    cleaning windows (we have 29 windows)we realized that the blinds will not go







    up/down smoothly and it takes a "significant" amount of time to get







    them all the way down.  I reached out to







    the company and was told:  "Our







    sales contract states on the bottom that we have a 3 month in home service







    warranty after that service charge applies. II normally wouldn?t have charged







    for a service call, but Argyle is an hour drive for me and haven?t had a job







    there since I did yours. I just looked at your sales contract and I wrote 1







    year in home service warranty for you since you had shutters so I will not







    charge you for a service call."















     















    I do not see that it is our issue nor should it even be







    mentioned that we would be charged a service fee because Mr. Weidberg would







    have to drive further (to a job he agreed to do) and us have to pay a service







    fee after spending $9,000 to have blinds work the way they should from the







    beginning.















     















    If that were the case then the gentleman they sent to







    install the blinds should have gone with us window-by-window to insure they all







    worked properly. 















     















    We were also told that he has "sold thousands of blinds







    from this manufacture of the past 10 years and I have never had issues with







    their quality. They are the largest supplier of faux wood blinds in the







    country. The blinds we ordered have won awards for design and performance.Here

    He then implied that both my husband and I must not be doing







    it correctly.  And if the blinds were







    made with a defect of some sort the manufacture will stand behind them. They do







    not pay for the labor to take them down and put them back up, but they do stand







    behind their product.  I also have a







    excellent blind repair man that might be able to help me figure out the issue.







    More than likely the cords are just getting tangled.















     















    So.... they want a service fee to see what is wrong.  Then if it's a manufacturer defect then they







    will stand behind it but "we" will need to pay to have them taken







    down and put back up and last but not least if that fails then "we"







    can hire his repair man and pay even more for BRAND NEW BLINDS THAT SHOULD HAVE







    WORKED PROPERLY FROM DAY ONE!!.















     















    We have had several friends remodel and build and love the







    "look" of our blinds but unfortunately, I have had to inform them







    that we do not recommend they do business with Sids Best regardless of the







    quality. 















     















    We are more than disappointed that we would spend so much







    money to make such an important feature in our new home look nice.  Then have to be continuously aggravated when







    we want to put our blinds up/down and reminded of the poor quality of our







    purchase.















    I feel compelled to share this information as it is nearly 1 year and I feel this frustration EVERY time I try to open the blinds and clean the windows.  This should have been corrected and I don't want someone else to make the same mistake.

    Our experience with Sewell Shutters was over the top.  The entire staff, from the owner to the installation crew, was very professional.  Truly a pleasure to work with.
    Their pricing is very competitive.  The entire process, from our initial visit, which included a tour of the production facility, the price negotiations to the installation, was great.  In our opinion, the quality of their product is equal to or better than anything on the market.
    Would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the market for plantation shutters that are made right here in America.

    They were punctual on the quote. And I really got a good honest feeling about the company. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the future. There were some communication problems and we were told we would have window treatments by a date, and then the shutters didn't arrive. That was apparent due to shipping issues, and Kelsey went above and beyond and had someone come over and hang our drapes so we could have privacy on the windows. So they completely made up for it. I really felt like they cared about the job they did. 

    It was a stressful time for us with a new home and they really gave a great service and I felt like they were ultimately concerned that we were happy in the end. My parents are getting a new house and I will be telling them to use Bloomin Blinds because of their great customer service and follow through.

    Within a few days of our meeting David prepared a detailed invoice covering exactly what we discussed and the cost involved. He was very responsive to our questions and exceeded our expectations for service and responsiveness. The drapes were manufactured and delivered when David promised.

    Premier Blinds & Shutters
    Above statement is the story of our experience. I feel somewhat sorry for him, as he is at the mercy of his distributor regarding delivery, but that's not my problem...it's his. I was also disappointed in his follow-up services. I'm sure if I called him he would come out, but he has already tried to fix some of the shutters that are not closing properly. Almost every appointment, from day one, wound up being later than scheduled, but in all fairness, he did call to let us know he was running late. But that still tied us up. In good faith, cannot recommend.

    I spoke with Shannon over the telephone.  She indicated she would come to my home or meet me at their showroom.  I went to the showroom and I am so glad I did.  There was so much to see and you could really see the quality in the product.  Other people came to my home and bought a little sample, which I could not really tell much about.  Also, they did not seem that informative about the product.  Shannon offered custom paint for the shutters, which two other vendors did not.  I knew immediately I wanted to purchase from them.  When installation time came two of shutters were not a perfect fit and they were redone so that would be perfect.  I placed a deposit of 1/2 down and they did not ask for the other 1/2 until they had corrected the fit and installed the shutters perfect.  I would definitely use them again.  Debbie

Everything was perfect...from the initial estimate to the professional installation...all in 4 weeks!! The shutters were custom painted to match my window sills and the stained ones in the study match perfectly. They are beautiful and I couldn't be happier!!
