Drywall Repair reviews in Argyle

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Just about every area of my home needed something repaired or upgraded. Framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile work, shower glass, granite, lighting, resurfacing and painting, staining, and during a mid-project emergency, rebuilding the exterior chimney surround. From my initial consultation with Kyle, I knew he was the one to tackle the job. Great communication, attentive to what I was trying to accomplish within budget, offered great ideas and sources. Such an incredibly wonderful crew... knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and truly just really nice. Set the tone for the whole project. With weeks of work (it was a long list!), it could have been tense and stressful. It was the exact opposite. There were quite a few times when I noticed they went above and beyond the task, going outside the scope to make sure an area was perfect. Had I known what a positive experience it would be, I would not have put it off for so long. Highest recommendation.

  • Doyle and his crew did a fantastic job taking care of all of our needs due to hail storm damage. We needed our roof replaced, a leak into our daughters bedroom, garage doors, and pool equipment was damaged. T-Rock was one stop shopping! Everything taken care of professionally. I highly recommend their services and if I need them again I will not hesitate to call!

  • After speaking with the owner (Dave Kasper) of Kore Construction & Painting (phone ‪630-605-3893‬) and comparing his prices with several other local home repair companies, we hired them to repaint the trim of our home, paint the gutters to match, build and install custom cedar shutters for the front of our house, repair a roof leak and a small interior area where water intrusion had occurred from that leak, and power wash and restain our exterior fence.  Overall, we could not be happier with the results, his prices were extremely reasonable and fair, and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dave and his crew for any type of home repair/work.  Specifically, the entire painting job was finished in two days, they absolutely knocked it out of the park and I couldn't find one spot on the entire house that needed touching up, the custom shutters look fantastic, they stopped the roof leak with minimal repairs and cost, and the fence work looks incredible. Dave is new to Dallas but he, his company, and his mindset of excellence and fairness are an extremely welcome addition to our area and we couldn't be happier with both the results and cost of the projects.

  • Jose, Tony and his crew were awesome! They did a terrific job painting my entire 2800 sq ft house, including my kitchen cabinets. It was a huge job - and they were there every day working - they protected my floors, furniture, etc and cleaned up every day. On their final day they made sure everything was to my satisfaction. The crew was awesome - going above and beyond - changed smoke detector batteries, lowered a cabinet that had been installed wrong - added a job I didn't tell them about - even called another contractor when I was having issues to explain it. Didn't complain when my dogs got loose... I mean really - that's more than a painter! Above and beyond! They sanded and painted and sanded and painted my cabinets - and they look great. I've included before, during and after pictures! They kept me informed every step of the way on what they would be working on that day, and what would be the next day so I could plan my day and stay out of their way. They did numerous touch ups, even when it was probably another worker in the house that scratched the paint. The crew seemed to genuinely care that I was happy with the work - and was happy to see me excited at the progress as the colors went up on the walls. It took them a little longer than they first thought - but the quality was great - and they didn't ask for money until the job was finished. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone who needs a painter.

  • Did a great job finishing the master bathroom and painting the interior. Had to use a ix of oil and latex paints to complete the job. Older home with a ton of oil based trim and crown molding as well as banisters, chair rails, and cabinet work.

  • It went great. It was a pleasure to work with a competent, honest, contractor, everything went smoothly, they did the work they said they were going to do, they came when they said, I highly recommend them.

  • Given that the house was brand new construction (less than 2 months old) when the damage happened, I wanted everything back to "New". The Home Front team made things as if the damage never happened. The team was punctual, respectful of my home, and communicated throughout. I always knew what was happening, when, and could plan around it accordingly. The project even finished 2 days ahead of schedule. Absolutely a great ending to a frustrating incident with our brand new house. I would absolutely recommend Home Front and will use them again for future projects.

  • Moses is a gem! We contacted him about filling hairline cracks, repairing tape and bed problems, and touching up some exterior painting on dormers. Throughout the job, he was professional, accommodating, and responsible. His estimate was far lower than others we received, and we liked his personable manner. His workers arrived on time and cleaned up each day. Some of the work needed to be redone because they used the wrong texture, and Moses insisted that they make it right. It looks lovely and we are thrilled with it. We cannot recommend Genesis highly enough! If you want a responsible painter who does what they promise, this is the company to call.

  • Carl's follow up to schedule the work took longer than expected.  He initially said a couple days but took a week.  I'm cutting a little slack since Thanksgiving fell in the middle.  Very flexible on scheduling the work, accommodated a last minute change the morning of to move to the afternoon.  Jose, the repair man was on time and very polite.  He took care to contain and prevent mess.  He didn't mind answering questions about the work he was doing.  He was kind enough to also do some small texture touch up on a wall.  Everything looks great, if painted you wouldn't know I had a hole there.  He did offer to paint but I declined since I'm repainting the whole room later.

  • I contacted Phillips in mid June about replacing the wood trim and painting the house. They stated they were backed up due to all of the rain and it would be around 4 to 6 weeks before they would have a crew available. I know that everyone was backed up since there was a lot of rain in the previous months. This was OK, but then I had the job dates changed twice and then we agreed that they would start on Monday 7/27, but late the week before they were to start, I was informed that they could not get the proper crew until 7/30, which would put the work into the weekend. I informed them I was not happy with the change and they said that they would get the job done by Friday 7/31.
They did arrive on the scheduled date and time, but I was surprised there was only a 2 man crew. I had them do a job 4 years ago for hail damage and it was done with a larger crew than this one (less work). They did replace the wood trim and did a lot of prep work the first day. The second day they completed all of the painting. Overall the job was good, but after talking with my neighbor, I wish that I had used a different outfit to replace the wood trim. The crew that Phillips used did not have an experienced carpenter in my opinion (they did an OK job, not excellent). They used multiple layers of wood trim instead of the original thickness. They also did not use window membrane tape around the windows when replacing the wood to seal out leaks. They also did not use treated wood that would last longer.  My neighbor had his trim replaced and the outfit that he hired did all of this as part of their process. Unfortunately I found this out after my job was done. If I had it to do over again, I would hire a different company for the wood/ trim replacement and then have Phillips do the painting.
