    Choice Home Warranty
    the service was excellent and very quick, The problem was when I called into choice they said it would be 5 days before I could get anyone out to service me, that is so unacceptable ,I asked the customer service lady that I spoke to at choice if she could call the company and get them to my house quicker than 5 days and she said no that she can't keep calling the company, I asked for the phone number of the company coming to service my air condition and I called them and was able to get them to come out on the very same day I called, I cannot believe how unprofessional choice was on this matter, I am anew customer and was told if I changed from America home shield to choice that I would have a better experience and I can tell you that I did not in this case, I have paid for a year of insurance with choice, and if this is the way I am treated again I will 100 % not renew my contract with choice, I feel like the customer service agent gave me the phone number of the company so that I could do the leg work and get them out there, when that is choice's job thats what I pay for.

    This was in June 2017. I called because my heater/ac unit was not working. I was told they could repair it but it would keep breaking down so it would be cost efficient to replace it. The air conditioner outdoor unit was 7 yrs old and he said they are no longer making the coolant that went in it due to EPA. I agreed to have my system replaced . They replaced my indoor hvac Trane 3.0 ton unit with a Lennox 4 ton unit. I called-the company in August when I noticed it ran a lot and I noticed it was bigger unit. I was told that I had verbally ordered it a bigger unit. He said this was more efficient than my old unit. Sent a guy out that said it was running a lot due to the control being down the hall from the unit and reasons I did not understand. My house is only 1768 sq ft and from what I can tell, from the Internet, the largest unit I would need is 3.5 ton. This unit is also very loud and distracting. I had used this company for years for various plumbing issued and gas line issues with no complaints but I think he saw someone who had no idea about hvac systems.

    Installers were knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned up at the end of each day and were pleasant and took time to answer my questions. We got three quotes and AAC, Inc was the lowest of all. The system they put in is energy efficient and we are very happy with it. The IComfort thermostat is nice for adjusting the temperature by cell phone app if we leave and forgot to change it. Very pleased with Amarillo Air Conditioning, Inc. and would recommend them for all HVAC needs.

    They provided a call out regarding leak in HVAC duct related too home warranty claim. After completing the paper work for the claim they didn?t make any repairs. I asked them to make a very inexpensive repair with duct tape pending resolution with the home warranty company and they declined because they said that the sixty five dollars that I paid was to cover their services for the home warranty service. They were unwilling to help solve the problem they worked for the Home warranty company not me. I talked to the owner and he made it clear that his call-out was as an adjuster for the insurance company. He said that he didn?t want to do a duct tape repair because it would look unprofessional, so instead he opted to do nothing to fix the hole even temporarily and offered to redo my whole duct system for almost $2500. Declined the offer.

    When I called I informed the lady I talked to of the situation and informed her that we had a sixth month old in the house. She told me some one would be out between 4 and 6 P.M. I got a call less than one hour later saying the technician was on his way. Very prompt response that I was very grateful for because of the baby in the house. I was told that my heater core was getting too hot and the unit was very old. No news to me. I had figured on needing a replacement due to problems in the past. This was Tuesday January 10th. They said they could install the new unit Thursday or Friday of that week and very cold weather was forecast for Friday. They came and installed a new central heat unit first thing Thursday morning and were finished in about 6 hours. They brought everything up to code and left no mess at all. I didn't even have to pay them until later on Friday afternoon. I did not get a second quote from anyone so I only selected 'good' for the price. Because I was working, I never saw anyone on the crew. My daughter and her child were home. I only talked to one person from the installation crew and the only person I actually met was the receptionist when I went to pay. But I received such prompt, efficient, courteous and professional service that the price seemed well worth it. Friday was below freezing all day and we had a warm toasty house. They left a nice clip binder with an itemized bill and complete warranty information and product registration information all in plastic sleeves for protection and operating instructions for the new programmable thermostat that was also installed. The following is what was installed; a Bryant 3.5 Ton Coil w/R-22 TXV & 80% Furnace Single Stage, which includes code upgrades, equipment, misc. materials, labor, permit and inspection. 10 year warranty on all parts warranty.

    I like Larry's. Their honest, a couple of older guys, but they do good work. They're reasonable in their prices. Quality has always been A1. They were right here as soon as they can get here. They are clean and courteous. They do good work. They do a good job of installation. They clean up after themselves.

    Our air conditioning stopped working on a Sunday morning. I called Adam's Air thinking the answering service would book an appointment for us early that week. I was surprised when their technician called me back within five minutes!! He told me he would come to look at the unit within the hour and 15 minutes later he was at my door. He went directly to the attic and came back down in 15 minutes with the bad blower motor in hand. He told me it would be difficult to find the part on a Sunday morning as all of the supply houses were closed. He went back to his truck and I noticed he was on his phone. He came back in and told me that he had a very good friend that worked at a supply house and he was on his way to meet him there right away....ON A SUNDAY MORNING! He left and returned 30 minutes later and had the motor installed in 10 minutes. The entire procedure to repair the unit lasted only an hour and a half. I've NEVER been more impressed with an HVAC service company. I was incredibly pleased with the pricing for this work taking into consideration that it took place on a Sunday!! I would recommend Adam's Air of Amarillo to anyone because of their promptness, attitude, knowledge and pricing. They are THE GREATEST!!
