    Notified my home warranty insurer and contacted Walker Appliance (Carol) on 29 Nov 17. His first visit/inspection was on 04 Dec 17. He determined two parts needing to be replaced (magnetron and thermostat). He told me he would contact my insurer and order the parts. After my insurer notified the parts had been order, I contacted Mr. Carol. When I asked him about the status of my repair, he replied: ���I'm just waiting on the parts" or "I'll call you when I get back to my office" in which I heard on 2 different occasions with no call back from him. Whenever I inquired about an appointment repair date, he made it seem as though I was inconveniencing him... "Well, I got so much to do��� and/or ���I���ll see when I can get to when I get back to my office.��� Finally after several more calls, 05 Feb 18, he came out for the repair. During his repair visit, he shared with me how it's difficult to take those microwaves off the mount, how many screws he had to screw out/in, and how only so many repairmen in Amarillo do microwave repair. Microwave was repaired. No problem so far. I just wasn't impressed with his apathy to take care of the repair and his professionalism. I had to only pay the deductible for a service visit. I don't know how much the parts cost the insurer.

    He showed up on time. That's about the only positive. After coming into my home he walked to the refrigerator, opened the door, and within less than 2 seconds of listening he proclaimed the compressor had failed. No real diagnosis, no turning the fridge off and back on, didn't even bother to look at the control board which has an LED that flashes to indicate any problems. He said he'd get approval to fix it, and call me to schedule an appointment. Took my money and left. Days later, I find out through the warranty company that not only does he not work on sealed systems, he also doesn't work on LG appliances. Sure would have been nice if he could have had the professionalism to tell me this up front instead of claiming to be waiting on approval to start work. After another week we got a REAL repairman out to look at the fridge... it's not even the compressor that was the problem. Bad control board. Which could have EASILY been diagnosed if Mr. Walker had bothered to take the time to actually look at the fridge instead of taking my money and being dishonest. I will NEVER call walker appliance to work on any of my appliances.

    Very punctual and professional, yet friendly in approach. It took a little time to order in the needed part. I had priced the item myself and his price was exactly what I would have paid for it myself. Mr. Bell has a business located on Bell Street with his wife handling some of his calls; both are very informative and courteous.

    Called and talked to a lady on the phone who was VERY rude. After asking me address, name, phone, and other items she then needs make and model number. I call her back 3 minutes later and she I guess threw away the paper with all the information because I had to give it all over again. And then she tells me the soonest she could be out would be a week on a fridge repair. The first thing I asked her when I got on the phone was how long it would be on a service call she said same day. A COMPLETE waste of my time and the lady was lazy and RUDE.

    My dishwasher wasn't draining. Water was just sitting in the bottom. I called this morning, got a call back after lunch, and he worked me in at 3:00. On Memorial Day!
    He found the clog, unclogged it and ran some hot water through my dishwasher to freshen it up. He also recommended a product to add to my dishwasher soap to keep it unclogged. Great experience!

    Set up appointment for 8 am to have job assessed, showed up at 945, stated they were busy, the tech sent to house was to run camera down line to look for leak, stated he had never used equipment before, took two hours and had someone else drop by to show how to turn on equipment then other person left, tech then tried to use equipment could not figure it out, pulled toilet off broke mount ring, after 2-1/2 hrs just staring at equipment advised tech to leave and send somebody who knew what they were doing, rescheduled appt for next week at 8 am, at 10 am never heard back called stated they were busy in meeting. advised i would use someone else. Also tech turned water line valve off behind toilet, started leaking left house come home to water covered floor, good thing i had rugs in bath absorbed water before doing more damage. Would not use very poor service.

    Our water dispenser on the fridge had a slow stream. Eldon gave us the choice of trying something on our own to fix it and save money. It was a simple thing, use blow dryer and warm the problem area. We tried it and it didn't work but we were grateful that we didn't have to pay him for this simple procedure. We called him back and sent him a picture of the info on inside of fridge so he could order the part. The part was slow to come in but it was during Thanksgiving holidays and it wasn't an urgent problem so we were okay with it. When he received it he was prompt in installing it. He didn't want us to pay until we had used it for a few days to make sure it was going to work. I think it was about a week when he called to check on it. It was back to the usual flow and he stopped by for payment. We felt it was a reasonable price for part and labor.

    He said it needed a new ice maker. he would have to order it and it would take a couple of days. After weeks of repeated phone calls to him in which he first said it wasn't in yet, then changed his story to "I've been out of town. Will check and call you right back.", I finally found another repairman willing to work on Samsung appliances. I had a new ice maker installed within 3 days.

    Mr. Appliance of Amarillo
    Mr. Appliance covered the old broken lid cam on
    washer with duct tape.  He never offered to
    order a new lid cam.
    He used duct tape on the dryer vents.
    He did not put the clamps back on
    dryer.  The hose came loose at
    both ends and blew lint  all over
    utility room.
