    Waterfalls Land Care
First, I tried a guy on NextDoor to fix leaning mailbox and install larger mailbox, but after the existing bricks crumbled, he disappeared. Then, I tried a guy on Craigslist, but he never showed up. Finally, I found this professional with an ad in the monthly Angies List Edition and he exceeded my expectations with a large brick and stone mailbox. Next time, I will start with Angies List. Now I am using this company to install a flagstone walkway.

    Mitchell Deweese Masonry
We were referred to Mitchell & Kerry Deweese by a reliable source. We previewed their work on an existing home and liked what we saw. The bid was $5000. We were asked, prior to seeing a sample to deposit $500.00 to reserve a spot on their schedule, he wanted cash, we gave Mitchell a check. Ten days later, Mitchell left a very large sample on our brick, we would have liked to have had more than 1 choice & perhaps add tint to the mortar, he stated that this style would be best. He then asked for another cash payment of $1000, we were reluctant but gave him a check. We approved the sample and he & his Dad were to start on Monday. Job was delayed, then the weather turned bad for 1 week. Our sample turned an odd color, due to the rain. which alarmed us as the Schmear was to be almost solid. The work continued to be delayed, we were given 8 start dates and still no work was done. We decided to cancel the work & asked for a refund. We were NEVER told that our deposits were not refundable. We are currently in a dispute with both Mitchell and Kerry Deweese over their refusal to remove the Schmear sample and refund our deposit. Kerry Deweese signed a promissory note and returned $400, however he and Mitchell have made excuses since then. I have learned that many other people have had issues with the Deweeses. If you do hire them, be wary and have everything in writing. Know that you will never receive a refund for work not started.

    Leak Trackers
At that time, we were taking in quite a bit of water in the house around the chimney. We had already had three different companies out to repair the leak, but we still had water. We had already spent over $1000 with the other guys. These guys came out and did a seamless repair on the brick and we didn't get any water for about 7 months. When we saw water again, we called them out a second time. They did a repair on a different part of the chimney, so the work they did the first time around was still intact. Even though they were not at fault, they didn't charge me for the new repair! While they were here, I had them assess the whole house, as we have had many issue with the appearance of the bricks since after having our foundation repaired. I have hired them twice for brick and mortar repair and sealing of upper level windows. They do beautiful work, very professional, very friendly and knowledgeable, prompt, they call ahead and usually call afterword to make sure customer is pleased with the work performed. They are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I have that from first hand experience! I don't mind spending the money if I know its going to be a one time repair. I highly recommend this company and I give them an A+ rating. Since I have hired them on multiple occassions, and I intend to hire them again to complete the work I still need done, it is difficult to give an approximate cost of service. But they do stand by their work!

    Malu's Landscaping and Masonry Design
This is the first review I have posted for a contractor, but I was so impressed with the service in repairing my flagstone patio. I recommend Malu's Landscaping and Masonry Design. Great work...super honest...fair price. Call Luis 469-684-0996. My job was small, but they do everything from repair to full outdoor kitchens, decks and landscaping. Luis does work for some of the top builders in Dallas. They tend to be busy (like most contractors), but the quality of their work is worth waiting foran A+ experience.

    Stenson Landscape & Irrigation, Inc.
Everything went perfectly. They showed up on-time, did very professional work and it looks beautiful. Their crew was very helpful with any questions I had. Based on all of these factors I would not hesitate to recommend them. I picked them to quote originally based on Angies List recommendations. Based on my experience and that of other customers, you will not be disappointed.

    Artistic Masons
It was fine. He came out, gave me an estimate and said just give him a call whenever Im ready to go. I just never was because I havent saved up for it yet, other than things have come up. They were quick. I called them and left a message. They called me back the same day. I think they were out like 2 days later. They were really professional and I wouldnt hesitate to use them. I think the estimate process worked fine for what I needed.

    Moises Pizana Concrete Or Pavers
Moises Pizana had what I consider to be a great first impression; he came off dedicated and knowledgeable. Moises Pizana arrived on time wearing a suit to quote my outdoor kitchen. I was enthusiastic because he seemed committed and ready to do a great job on my outdoor kitchen. The plan was to create two separate areas that would house my grill, drawers, a warming drawer, cabinets and an outdoor fridge. My wife wanted the same stone used on our pool put on the outdoor kitchen so the backyard would flow. The framework was done to my satisfaction, where I'm concerned at this point is the finish work. The finish work is what we will look at everyday once they builders have moved on... It needs it to look as good as my pool finish work did. The corners looked horrible, they didn't attach like the pool and they had large gaps. When we asked him to fix the problem, he added mortar to the cracks. His crew also spilled piles of mortar all over my pool deck. We talked to Moises about the work done and he insists the work is fine. The problem is, the company that did our pool did the brick work correctly, so we have the correct work 10 feet away to show as an example. He admitted he hasn't worked with this type of stonework before, but won't admit that his work is inferior. He even had the nerve to tell my wife "I knew you were going to be a problem when I walked in your home". He agreed to come by and discuss the project. After a brief conversation, he leaves my house angry and asks if I can make the final payment. Really? You've damaged my home, your work is sloppy, there's mortar all over my deck and you've not installed my appliances. Yet you want more money? Upon further investigation, it appears the gentlemen installing the outdoor kitchen made their tile cuts on my pool deck and now I have at least 15 slice marks where the blade cut into my pool deck. I'm furious. Also, where they used their machine, there is rust on my concrete. His guys attempted to rub the stain out with a wire brush, now there is damage where they scrubbed and you can still see the stain from the rust. I'm disappointed in not only the work, but how he handled the escalation. What makes me crazy is when my wife and I were showing him the corners on the pool which was done correctly, and all he could tell me is "it's fine, it's fine". IT'S NOT FINE, IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. I'll also post pictures of his work to show how shotty the finish work is. I'm disappointed, we had high hopes this guy would be more professional.

    Artistic Masons
They did an excellent job. It was a large job that needed some extra attention. Sal and Paulette have been great to work with. Job was completed based on the bid. Work was completed based on what needed to be done rather than rushing through. Everybody we dealt with was professional and attentive. Very respectful of our property and cleaned up thoroughly upon completion. Several weeks after completion our roofers knocked out a brick and mortar around our window. We called because we were concerned about a leak and they just came right out and fixed for us. We are going to do additional work with this company.

    PALOMO MASONRY
I felt I got a straight forward evaluation of the problem from Mr Palomo. He provided a good estimate and I hired him to do the work. Repairs were done the following day. Mr Palomo cautioned that exact matching of the mortar color might not be possible - but that it would be close. I can't tell now when I look that there had been damage and repairs made. In an earlier negative review I complained that Palomo hadn't shown to inspect and give an estimate. He explained that circumstances had delayed him and we didn't discuss the reasons or fuss about the delay. In the end the service was excellent.

    Clients First Landscape Solutions
We just completed our second round of backyard projects with Zach and his team at Clients First Landscape Solutions. They are amazing to work with and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! They took our backyard from a plain concrete slab to a gorgeous oasis with landscaping, a crushed granite fire pit area and a gorgeous cedar covered patio. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are impeccable, as is the customer service. We worked closely with the team to achieve exactly the look we wanted and they far exceeded our expectations.
