Boarding reviews in Allen

She was there 6 days. The cost included getting her groomed. It was really good. We've never boarded her before. Usually someone has stayed here and watched her. We were kind of leery about leaving her. But they, we had a friend tell us they were really good. So they were amazing. She liked the people and she played with them when we went in. So as soon as she went in she went right back with them, Usually she tries to fight you about going in, but she went right in. The guy that owns it is from California originally and he's super high energy. So he just, as soon as they walk in, he's just playing with them and talking to them and all that. He's just really nice. Well you choose if you want them to be in with other dogs or if you want them to be by themselves at night. They have them with other dogs during the day in a big huge area and they're all in their to play and they take them out and stuff like that. But at night we wanted her in a room by herself. So they have these little small rooms that they can stay in and sleep in. And you can take a blanket and toy that she's used to and so that's what we did. We'll be using them again in July.

They are fantastic. They are clean, and everyone there is a dog freak. Personally, I am not. The owner loves dogs. They have dog freaky people there, who treat them as their dogs. When you pull up, you can't see the doggy daycare, but my dog gets happy. He loves it there.

Our experience at Pet Paradise has always been great. The staff really cares for animals and I feel like our dogs get great care while we are away. It gives me and my family peace of mind knowing the dogs are in good hands. In my opinion and based on a lot of experience, Pet Paradise is a great place to board your dogs.

Brian is always punctual. In our initial meeting, he explained what we could expect in terms of her training, the cost and what we would need to do to make our relationship with the puppy a success. We chose to purchase the lifetime package which is pricey but gives us the peace of mind that Brian will always be available. He is patient with us, immediately established respect from our dog and we are making steady progress toward the goal of having her as an active member of our staff. She is already bringing bright smiles to our clients.

I can't say enough great things about 2nd Family Dogs. My dog is always super excited to go play. I love being able to see him on their multiple cameras using my phone. They give him lots of attention and wear him out while there for daycare. He also has been groomer here too and always looks amazing. Boarding has been terrific as well!

It went great! My dog was completely unresponsive to any commands prior to entering the 4 week program. He jumped, nipped, barked constantly and dug up my backyard. He is part Great Pyranees so he is hard to train (he thinks he knows better and just ignores you). Since he has been home the barking is almost non-existent. He responds to come, sit, down, stay and off. Heel has been more of a challenge but we are working on it. He still wants to jump up on people when he gets excited, but so far he hasn't actually made contact, he just raises up his front legs while in a seated position. All I have to say is "no" and he puts his legs back down. Hilton also got him to go into a crate! All I have to say is "kennel" and he walks right in! I'm very happy with the results!

My dog came home skinny and with sores on the sides of his mouth.  Since then I have asked for him to not be placed in a kennel since he gets excited about all the other dogs at the facility.  Great staff who listens but have found it to be way more expensive than other vets in the area.

Our dog is 15 years old and has trouble seeing and hearing - thus she is not very comfortable around strangers and is not big fan of grooming even when younger!  When we called, they explained that they understood that older dogs require certain treatment and they had a specific person that handled.  We were able to get a quick appointment and they called us as soon as she was finished so Zoe would not have to stay there any longer than normal.  While Zoe did slip on table and when Sara tried to catch her, Zoe reacted and bit her slightly out of fear, Sarah understood and explained why it likely happened versus blaming Zoe.  She also clearly stated that she would welcome Zoe back!  We are so sorry for the accident but were very appreciative and impressed by Doggie Zen Den and how they treated Zoe and us!  Oh, and by the way, Zoe looked great and seemed as happy as we could expect when we picked her up.

Tucker went for his 2 week training and came home with his basic commands. He listened and was focused, for a puppy he did well. When I picked him up, it was my turn to be taught how to work with Tucker.  They showed me what he could do and what to expect from him. We practiced with the trained in the room several times. We are now on our 3rd week of private training.  The trainers are always patient and laugh when Tucker does something silly. You really know this is a great place because when we arrive for our one-on-one training Tucker is so eager to enter. When we have our one-on-one training I am always asked how was Tucker's week. Any issues or concerns I have, they always help me to help Tucker be the best he can be. I am a visual learner. The trainers always show me first what to do and then Tucker and I practice. I always feel confident when I leave there. Love this place!

They always do a great job and are very loving of both our animals. They treat them like they were their own. The only negative is they are a little more expensive than your "average" groomer, but the saying goes "you get what you pay for".
