    Chain of Events: May 4, 2017: Mark and Mark Jr. picked up the chest from my home. Judy said it would take 4-6 weeks to complete. June 16, 2017 (week 6): Called Judy to find out what the status of my cedar chest is. She said she did not know, but she would text me the status. She told me they have a backlog of work because of the thunderstorms we were having. Wood is not able to cure correctly, or something of that sort. I said fine, not a problem. just let me know when it's ready. July 5, 2017 (week 9): Called Judy again to find out what the status is. She wasn't sure, but would let me know. She called/texted back to say next Friday, July 14 between 3-5pm it would be delivered. The delivery crew would call me when they are on their way and she would waive the $60 fee since they had it so long. I said, Great! July 14, 2017 (week 10): My husband and I rearranged our schedules this day in anticipation for delivery between 3-5pm. I had out-of-town guests to pickup at the airport, so my husband came home early from work to wait for the delivery and write a check. I returned from the airport at 5PM and Furniture Fixology was a no-show and no call. I called Judy and asked her "where my chest is." She said, "I'm wondering the same thing." I get a call back from "Mark" after 5pm. He said he was in the Dallas area and wouldn't make it to McKinney until around 7PM. He said his current job is taking longer than expected; his client's child placed their hand on a piece he was fixing and he had to fix the damage. He went on and on about his current problem. I said that's fine, I'll be home waiting for the 7pm delivery. He said, ok. 7:30PM still had not arrived. No call to let me know he was running late. At this time I called Mark's cell phone; no answer. I called Judy's cell phone; no answer. I left a voicemail for both of them. After we cancelled dinner plans with our guests; unpacked our historical WWII memorabilia to store in the chest and waited 4 1/2 hours, Mark finally calls me back saying he can't make it. I said, "this is a problem. If you were not going to make it you should have called." I was not happy about the fact we rearranged our schedule with our guests; and waited all afternoon through the evening. He said, "well there's no need to get upset, it's not a focal-piece, I will deliver it tomorrow (Saturday)." I said, "fine, just leave the chest outside and I will mail a check since we won't be home tomorrow." He said, "no". So I hung up on him. It was pointless for me to argue with Mark because he was more concerned about his problems. I told Mark I found his lack of consideration for our time unacceptable. Now I don't know when I will get my chest back and no one has called to reschedule the delivery of my 80 year old cedar chest. So this is currently an ongoing issue. July 25, 2017: Finally received delivery of my cedar chest. They did a good job. However, no mention of an apology for the mess leading up to this. They did waive the $60 delivery fee.

    Eric did an amazing job cleaning our white sofa. The upholstery fabric looked brand new once he was finished. He was very thorough and professional. This is the 3rd time we've used Simply Clean. They have also cleaned several of our oriental rugs and the carpet. We have always been very happy with their service.

    The couch seat had become worn down and started to dip in. It was uncomfortable and not appealing to the eye. It now looks like new and feels amazing again. Excellent quality work, and fantastic service. I will call them again for any other furniture needs and refer friends and family to use them for service as well!

    David answered the phone promptly when I called him and was able to answer my questions regarding the repairs - unlike other places I called that either did not call me back, or never showed up for the scheduled appointment.    I emailed him a picture of the tear and he was able to quote me a price over the phone.  He explained that since the broken thread/seam was on the seat of the chair there was additional labor involved to take the bottom of the chair apart, completely remove the leather, re-sew the seam and then put it all back together - but this would be the "right"way to fix it.  We made arrangements for him to come and pick up the recline the next day.  He returned the chair to me in a reasonable amount of time, the chair looks good as new and I couldn't even tell where it had been fixed and he even re-stained a spot on the arm of the chair where something had been spilled and removed the color.  He quoted me a reasonable price to have the rest of the living room furniture re-stained, which I'll be being doing.  
    I would highlight recommend this company for any of your upholstery needs.

    We moved a 7 piece bookcase-desk unit to our daughters house and one of the desk pieces got badly damaged. It included shallow gouges and tremendous scratches. It was a thin veneer over MDF from a low-mid cost furniture seller. The piece damaged was a key piece on the desk surface. Mr Rogers never saw the other pieces because we had already moved them and he had to go by the damaged piece and our description. He figured out what kind of wood to use for the veneer, the finish as well as the custom color to match and it. It worked out beautifully.

    Aaron returned my side table three days later and I was so pleased with the result. The stain was matched perfectly and the piece was polyurethaned with a beautiful matte finish that mimicked the original lacquer without the worry. It cleans up quickly and spills and grease are no problem.. Aaron did a great job and I would recommend his services.

    I have a hope chest that was my great grandmothers (100 years or more). Beautiful wood, the lid split in half. I called and asked if they could replace the lid. The gentleman said bring it in. I brought it to the shop and he said he could fix it and it would not have to be replaced, and also suggested to refinish all the wood. I said 'do it' Estimated time was 3 weeks, it was done early and it was perfect, can't even see the seem where it was fixed.

    The positive experience began with the estimate appointment.  Brad was able to meet me on a holiday weekend.  He was prompt which I did not expect.  He gave a very detailed explaination of what paint he recommended and why, how he would paint the rooms and the furniture and how long the job would take.  The price estimate was very detailed.

    For bedroom one, my daughter wanted it stripes on the top 2/3rds of the wall (pink, purple and white stripes) with the bottom third of the wall a solid yellow.  The ceiling was also painted yellow.  For bedroom two, the bottom half of the wall was purple with pink on the top half with a solid white stripe between the pink and purple.  The ceiling was also painted yellow.  The bathroom shared by the girls was painted yellow.  The hallway between the bedrooms was painted pink.  All trim, cabinets, doors were in off white.  Thr furniture was also painted white,

    My garage was turned into a spray paint booth for a week to paint all the furniture.  Brad and Richard covered everything in the garage (including walls) with drop cloths and plastic coverings.  They left the garage in the same condition they found it and the furniture turned out great!

    I provided paint chip color samples which he matched perfectly.  My girls love their rooms!
    The entire job took about 8 days (lost a day due to illness).  They would have completed the job on schedule if it wasn't for illness.  My father-in-law house sat while I worked.  Brad called me several times during the job to keep me updated.

    I will definately use brad and his group again.  They left everything clean and I was greatly impressed with he level of detail.  The stripes are perfect - straight without pencil lines or bleeding paint.

    Horace did an excellent job. The Singer Sewing Machine was a surprise for my wife. It has been sitting in our garage for many years, including sitting in Katrina flood waters for several days. I decided to have it refinished for my wife for Christmas. She was shocked and blown away at how it looks now after Horace worked his magic. The other small tables came out excellent also.
