    Allen Foreign and Domestic is located at 112 Main St, Allen TX, 75013 and owned by Marlon Dunham. Marlon Dunham was supposed to repair the air conditioning system and replace the compressor in our car for $1000.00 with a one year warranty. The air conditioning stopped blowing cold air and we returned to have repairs made. We dropped off the car for the work to be done. When we returned we discovered that the car was never touched. He told us to come back the next day and he would fix it. The next day we showed up at the allotted time and nobody was at the business. This happened three days in a row that week. When he finally did look at the car he put coolant in and said he couldn���t find anything wrong with it. It blew cold for a couple of days and then quit. The next week we took the car back. Again he stalled for several days making us come back multiple times with no result. He then said it was a broken plastic part and that he had fixed it. This time it blew cold for less than 30 minutes. We returned for a third time again experiencing the same runaround. After several days he told us to leave the car saying that it would be ready that afternoon. Mr. Dunham never even touched the car and when we attempted to retrieve our car, he stopped answering the phone and locked up the shop preventing us from having the use of the car. This is our only vehicle and we could not do without a car. My husband made three attempts to retrieve the car, making it necessary for us to rent a vehicle (costing approximately $130.00). On Monday we went into Mr. Dunham���s shop to retrieve our car so that we could take it somewhere else to be repaired. He had the car on the lift and told us it was just a hose that needed to be repaired. We told him we did not want him to do any more work on the car and we insisted on a full refund of $1000.00. After a lengthy discussion he agreed to refund our money and worked out a payment schedule. We took the car to a different shop and was told that it looked like someone tried to repair the clutch in the compressor (couldn���t say if it was actually replaced) and that it had caused metal shavings to enter the air conditioning system. The new mechanic said he had never seen a compressor leak so bad and that he couldn���t even put oil in it without it immediately spurting out the side. He also said there was no worn out hose. It cost us $1450.00 for the new mechanic to repair the system. Mr. Dunham did initially make the agreed upon payments but is now refusing to complete the last payment of $200.00. We have consulted a lawyer who has stated that we could sue him for three times the amount of our loss but we prefer not to take it to court at this time. We will if we have to. Initial payment - $1000 Payment to Brakes Plus - $1450 Car Rental - $130. Received from Mr. Dunham - $800 Our current loss - $780.00

    When I bought the vehicle, they gave me 6 free oil changes. So I use them until that runs out. They have good prices. They were friendly and responsive when I needed something. They vehicle I bought was suppose to have rear seating and they didn't have it. It took them about a month to find it but they finally got me my rear seating. They got everything they promised me. I don't have any problems with them at all.

    They're quick and I've always gone to them. I've probably gone to them for 10 years now. We've been with them so long, they know who we are when we go in. You just pull up. You don't have to do any schedule.

    We use Firestone because it's nearby, but I don't know if I would recommend them. Sometimes I feel like they say we need services that we don't need. They were just very typical, I don't love them. I have been using them just because of convenience.

    For the oil change you go in and it’s a nice waiting room. You spend like an hour and they offer you water, it’s a nice place and it’s like it is going to see you brother. I was told by the dealership that I needed some extensive work done and I always take it to Christian Brothers even if it under warranty at the dealership and they have pointed out to me what was not needed to be done even though the dealership said it needed to be done.

    She made appointment with them and she had to wait for two hours for them to do get the oil change and she was very not happy at all with that.

    We ended up having to go to a third party through them they got the car for us, the car we wanted my wife wanted a certain color and they didn't have it so they had to go to another dealer to get the car but they were very nice about they get it quickly.

    They have been okay. I was kind of upset with the price because of instead of one price, they said that was for five-course of oils and that I needed seven-course of oil so it cost more. I think it was a little bit of a bait-and-switch kind of thing. The quality of work was great. Their responsive was good. In fact, they sent me a follow-up note just to make sure everything was fine. They had me right in. I pulled up and they were pretty close to closing, but they said that they would get me done. So, they brought me in about 10 minutes before closing time and finished me up 10 minutes after closing time. They were very good.

    I prefer not to be writing this review since I have a 7 1/2 drive to New Orleans tomorrow, but I felt compelled to response. I took two cars into Driver's Edge in Allen for only an oil change with oil filter. I told Alex that we were going on a trip so we wanted to make sure all fluids were topped off. He confirmed that was included with the 23-point inspection. Alex tells me that the manufactured requires brake system hydraulic fluid service or brake system with OEM at 69.99. My car is at 57,000 miles. (This statement is not true, Hyundai only suggest interval to inspect for this service.) It is time for the coolant to be flushed which he suggested at 89.99 another 3,000 miles, that was fine. He suggested that I change the dirty air engine filter (which was white clean) and the air cabin filter which was dirty and needed to be changed. The low score is not because of the up sale on two items that were not required. The score is because he had one primary responsibility which was to change my oil. I checked my oil and air filters on both cars when I arrived home at 5PM. The oil on my Sonata was on low because they never filled to the full level. My wiper fluid required a pint of fluid on the Sante Fe and 8 oz on the Sonata. The response by the manager on the windshield wiper fluid was, "it was the foaming up of the fluid". I responded " a pint low!" I asked the technician how was it even possible to give me my car back on low oil after an oil change. His response was they probably just followed the manufacture quantity that was listed in their manual. Excuse me! Unbelievable, I cannot make this stuff up. And remember I have a 7 1/2 trip tomorrow. They did add about �� of a bottle to get it to full. So when I get back to Allen on the 27th of this month, I will take both cars to my Hyundai dealership in Plano who normally does my work, and I will have them complete the oil change on both cars all over again. If skilled technicians don't have enough common sense to check the full level after an oil change, who know what else is wrong with their work.

    They told me it was the transmission and would cost about $5700.00. I paid them $330.00 for their service evaluation. I was hesitant. On the way home I stopped by AutoZone to have them scan the computer. The high school aged youngest told me that there was a problem with the throttle body. I repaired it for $200.00, no further problems. You would think that, that would be the first thing the ASE certified tech would perform.
