All My Sons Moving & Storage of Dallas
My husband and I used All My Sons on May 25th, 2019 to help us move. First, the movers were over 2 hours late. We were given a window of 10am-2pm and they showed up at 4:21pm. I understand its hard to know how long a prior move will take and things come up unexpectedly, but its worse for your business and reputation to set expectations for a customer and then break them from the start. If they were too busy to take our move, then the work should have been declined so we could find a better fit. Time is precious and its not a resource I can get back, so I take it very seriously when my time is wasted. Additionally, the movers damaged our TV stand, one of our speakers and our mattress. We were charged for a mattress cover that was then drug on the ground and our mattress was still damaged, so the cover was a complete waste of money. Without asking, the movers opened a package of wrapping that I purchased for a work project and used it to wrap some of our furniture. I wasnt reimbursed for this. They also strapped our chest freezer to a dolly and bounced it down the stairs instead of picking it up and carrying it. It was empty and its not heavy, just bulky. My husband and I carried it up our stairs when we first purchased it, so I know its possible for two men to carry it down the stairs without issue. My husband told the movers to carry it down the stairs, but he was ignored. It doesn't work properly anymore after being bounced down the stairs. The table legs to one of our coffee tables was left on the moving truck as well. We called about 30 minutes after they left to inquire about the legs; and at the time, they couldn't find them. Then at midnight that evening, one of the movers called my husband to tell him they found the legs. Calling a customer at midnight is not appropriate. Trying to get the legs back to our table, ended up being a frustrating endeavor that resulted in multiple phone calls and my husband having to go up to All My Sons to pick up the legs before work one day. This is bad customer service. In addition to this un-professionalism, during our move, both movers felt compelled to bad mouth each other when the other wasn't around. One of the movers felt compelled to show us pictures of his girlfriend as well. Overall, the movers made us feel very uncomfortable. Additionally, we were been given the run-around by All My Sons in order to address our complaints. My husband called multiple times and had to go up to the building twice to received two different email addresses to send our complaints to. This is incredibly dodgy and terrible customer service. It took two months for AMS to process our claim, which would have been lost if I had not followed up multiple times. They had an opportunity to rectify a terrible situation and instead continued to make it worse by low balling us on the repairs and not even acknowledging or apologizing for their atrocious customer service. They stated that they did all that was within their legal liability. On AMSs back story webpage, it reads A Tradition of Excellence Guided by Uncompromising Family Values not excellence guided by the extent of legal liability. The reason we chose to hire movers is because I'm pregnant and couldn't assist with heavy lifting. Hiring movers was supposed to provide some relief during this move and instead its been a stressful nightmare. AMS had an opportunity to make up for all of this but instead chose to fail their customers and themselves by losing sight of their company mission.

    King Moving Company, LLC
I called King moving to setup the move, and it was surprisingly easy. They confirmed the move without taking a partial payment or sending me any contract in advance. I was worried if they would actually show up because I had no confirmation. The moving team did show up on the day of the move, and it was clear right away that they hire day labor to fill in the team. Most of them didnt speak English, which doesnt matter to me because I speak Spanish. I asked a couple of the guys if they were employees and they said no. Although they said they would wrap and protect furniture, they didnt protect any of it while loading and unloading it. While they moved us very quickly, I would have liked it if they had slowed down and focused on not damaging things. Speaking of, they did damage our custom leather couch (Arhaus) with several tears and a hole as well. Ive been trying to get them to make good on their insurance coverage and theyve given me the run around for over a year. Im still dealing with Greg, the owner now. The company is shady, they couldnt even find my move details for two months when the guy I was working with on the claim (Cory) left the company. I would NEVER recommend using them to move anyone.

Tex Sun Moving & Storage Co Inc
I cannot say enough nice things about the move. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, polite. They took very good care of a very expensive and large designer buffet piece. I have recommended them to friends and I will definitely use them again.

    Mychals Movers
Michael took really good care of all my things as to me they are precious helped me pack my beautiful art took his time that was the most important thing to me I had stairs of course living in Portland and they did everything perfect no hitting walls no hurting my floors they used blankets and wrap to wrap all my stuff so they wouldn't scratch it I was amazed at how strong they were and very efficient they worked and even able to take my $4000 bed apart They wrapped it all up as to not scratch it or damage I will admit I was very nervous
They did a wonderful job of taking everything out to the truck and packing like I said they use blankets and things I didn't know were supposed to be done when it came to moving thank God I had them plus I couldn't do by myself as I am a single woman I had no place to take my things I had no clue what I could do I was new to Portland and Michael suggested a storage place And it turned out to be the best thing I ever did
The boys worked hard I really hadn't planned on tipping but I saw how hard they worked and felt bad that all I gave each of them was $20 because they work so hard don't forget to tip your guys !! I followed Michael and the crew over to the storage unit and watch them unload and pack my storage unit perfectly I felt comfortable to move back home to Texas and leave my things there where I knew they were safe and dry

I would recommend Michael's movers I believe he's got the best prices and he's been doing this a long time he's got lots a little tricks up his sleeve and I mean that in a good way he always stays calm never saw him get upset I believe he went above and beyond for me

    Monteros Moving Service
The overall experience was amazing we were finished in 2 and a half hours. This was a move from a second floor 1 bedroom to a first floor 2 bedroom apartment. During the moving process, when the gentlemen started to unpack the truck, the process was seamless and quick! After figuring the price towards the end they didn't even charge us the original price for fuel which was supposed to be $40.00 and prorated the third hour for us instead of charging me full price for the third full hour! They took great care of my moving needs for a great price!!! I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends for sure!! Very trust worthy!

    Monteros Moving Service
Monteros Moving provided outstanding service from beginning to end. Not only did they arrive on time, informing us as they were almost here, they also waited an extra 40 minutes, as me and my roommate were caught up signing documents at the new apartment. They could have easily started charging us, but they did not and were very patient as we arranged everything at our new address. Once we arrived, they were very courteous and professional, explaining exactly how the costs would work and having us sign a document with the start time so there was no disputing the final costs (20 fee for wrappings and 75 per hour). The movers then began working very quickly and efficiently, taking care with all of our belongings. They not only wrapped and padded the more fragile equipment, but also moved some of our loose belongings that we currently didn't have boxes for. They were very curteous, working both hard and fast throughout the entire process, getting both my roommates and my own belongings out into the truck from the second floor in just under an hour. Their excellent service carried on to the unloading process, making sure they put our stuff in each of our appropriate rooms. At the very end, we were even 5 minutes to the next "pay mark". They could have taken it easy to add that extra amount to our bill, but they did not. If I ever need moving services again, I will definitely use Monteros Movers, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else needing moving services!

All My Sons Moving & Storage of Dallas
The mover's were polite and did work fairly quickly, but the final cost of the move ended up being over $400 more than I anticipated, and at $1100 it was 3 times more expensive than any moving company I have ever used. But worse than that, I realized that several items of mine were missing or damaged after the move, including a 6' tall book shelf that disappeared. They damaged my almost new audio receiver and it no longer works, and they "misplaced" a Dyson Hot + Cool Fan and my gym bag that had all of my kickboxing equipment as well as gloves and other sports items from my childhood. And if that was not bad enough, when I filed a claim with their service department the settlement they offered was an insult and would barely cover the cost to replace one item, and they called it "generous". I fully realize they have a $0.60 per pound replacement policy, so by the letter of the law they are correct that their offer was "generous". But when a move across town costs this much money and they screw up so royally, it is ridiculous for them to offer a settlement so paltry that it is worth more to me to write negative reviews than it is for me to accept the money. Do no use this moving company. I have used other movers in the past that were a fraction of the cost and did their jobs professionally and without any issues or damage.

    Wrightway Moving Company, LLC
I had scheduled a packing service for 2 packers for -at least- 3 hours for Thursday October 1st between 12 and 1pm. At 12:40pm since the packers had not arrived, I called Wrightway and they informed me that the packers were delayed on another job and will not arrive until 3 to 4pm. I asked Tanya to send me a different crew. She said that she will look into it and call me back. I never got a call back. At 4:13pm since the packers had not arrived, I called again Wrigthway and I was informed that the packers were about to arrive. At 4:45 finally a packer arrived, but instead of two, I got only one. The packer was exhausted from working on the prior job from 7am. I asked the packer and Tanya when was the other packer coming and they informed me the other packer was about to arrive. As I was left with only one packer at 5pm the day before my move, I started packing myself and my wife and we kept on going the two of us together with the one packer. At 7:30pm still with only one packer I called again Wrightway. They didn't pick up. The packer informed me that Wrigthway will give me a credit to compensate. I sent them a text message at 7:53pm asking again for the second packer. Tanya replied back saying that "should be arriving any moment". At 9:15pm a second packer arrived. By 10:30pm the packing job was finished and by 11pm the packer left. They charged me $240 for the packing services + $200 in supplies. I asked Wrigthway for a partial refund and they refused. This is the type of service that you can expect from Wrightway
