    I used Make Ready Renovations for my home remodel. We bought a house and wanted to have everything done before we moved in. Clay was the Project Manager who got assigned to me. We called him when we went under contract on our house. We were in our option period at the time. He came out and wrote down everything I wanted done. A couple days later I had a bid in my inbox. I went ahead and signed with him because he said the whole renovation would only take four to six weeks and I wouldn���t have to deal with any of the trades. He said he would be the only person I would have to call if I needed anything. They started on our house a couple of days after we closed and we got to move in six weeks later. He basically flipped my house in six weeks? I couldn���t believe it. I would definitely hire these guys again. Thanks Clay!

    Shawn was able to inspect my non-functioning AC unit on the same day that I contacted Air Patrol. He diagnosed the problem and gave me options to replace the condenser or install a new AC unit. Based on the age of the AC unit, I elected to replace it and it's corresponding elements. Three days later, the work crew arrived on time, replaced the units, restrapped the HVAC unit in my attic, sealed the junctions leading to the vents, and cleaned the area. They also scheduled the town's building inspector for verification that it met code. Service was prompt, courteous, and complete.

    Howard came out after the company I have been using told me I need to put a tidy sum into my system to correct some issues or spend more and replace my 12 year old system. After only being here a few minutes and a review of the noted issues Howard said that nothing needed to be done at this time and my system was operating ok currently. Recommended that I hold off until later and consider a new system should I actually start experiencing issues. What a relief.     For what other companies wanted to charge me for a condenser alone, Green Lear Air installed a complete system, including the outside condenser and furnace and coil in my attic, and a new thermostat. They also made sure my existing duct work was in good condition and did not need replacement (it didn't). They didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't need, and they gave me a price that was less than anyone else I called. I cannot recommend them enough.

    They came in and covered everything.  They warned me the machine might be loud and could scare my dogs so we went outside in the back while they did the cleaning.  He explained what they found and what they did as well as checked to be sure everything was in working order before leaving. They did a great job.

    Ernie's Plumbing Service Inc
    I have concerns about sanitary issues with plumbing jobs. The plumber had a plunger without any cover or designated use label.
    A thought that he would walk from the upstairs bathroom with a dripping tool that had touched filthy parts was discomforting. I gave him a plastic bag and a shop towel to prevent bacteria from spreading.
    When I called the company to discuss existing regulations by the Texas State Department of Health Services, the owner offered to take me off the list of his future customers. I agreed gladly, knowing that the same plunger will not be used both in the kitchen sink and in the toilet.

    Timeline for technical issues: In July 2014, Ernie's did a good job in fixing a plumbing problem, explaining that it was in part due to malfunctioning AC (replaced by now). The service was priced at $645 before a discount. The plumber was professional in all regards. Today I experienced a drastic deterioration in the level of customer care during the call covered by the warranty according to the manager at the time of scheduling. The plumber on site did not honor the warranty. Not being technical, I am sandwiched between two "experts"- the AC installer tells me that the new unit does not function properly because of the plumbing issue; the plumber says that standing water is not a problem and the warranty does not apply. He may be right technically, but I have no way of knowing that the new problem is not a result of the previous repair. I do not want to fit a stereotypical scenario of a lady taken finacial advantage of by a repair man.

    Technical issues aside, Ernie's approach to highly priced jobs differs drastically from the level of service covered under the warranty. My experience made me believe that their customers are just payers. ERNIE'S HAS FEELINGS FOR FINANCIAL GAIN, NOT CUSTOMER PAIN. When you pay, they take time to explain the problem and do it in an appropriate tone. Also, I do not know if plumbing businesseses are certified for CLEANLINESS similar to restaurants, but it seems that Ernie's needs to train the employees to meet basic standards for handling equipment.
