    C & G SHEET METAL & SUPPLY
This company built a screened in back porch on my home, including a new metal roof on the whole house and new porch in 2013. Eleven months later the first leak appeared around a chimney. Excuse after excuse was given as to why the roof leaked. Several attempts at caulking were to no avail and leaks have persisted to the point I now have inside damaged In my kitchen where I had new cabinets installed three months before the new roof was put in the house all from a leaking roof that was not properly installed. My roof has been inspected by several folks who have confirmed this fact. No flashing around chimney, no boots around vents from bathrooms, improperly and or no flashing in other areas of the roof. No drip edge installed. Box vents taken off with no covering before placing metal roof over the holes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    Exteriors Of Tennessee
I called Exteriors on a Friday at 9:00 am They were here by 9:30 Giving me a estimate and Could start work that afternoon if need be. Me and my wife had got 3 other estimates and Exteriors was cheaper than the other three. Korey walked me through what We wanted done to our house and made suggestions along the way since it is an older house, (things the other Contractors never bothered to mention), so we could keep cost down of future repairs in the long run. After agreeing to the price , they were here that afternoon to start work. They started replacing windows on Saturday were here on Sunday and finished up the windows that afternoon, all 14 of them. On Monday they started the roof, we had had a hail storm earlier in the year and it had damaged our roof, he was with us every step of the way during the Insurance Claims and permits and inspectors. they finished the the roof in about 2 days. The siding gave the house new life and no more painting!on Korey Benbow was always courteous, here when he said he
was and took no short cuts. We couldn't have asked for better service.Thank you so much for a job well done! We will use Exteriors of Tennessee again for any home repairs we might have.

    Exteriors Of Tennessee
He came out extremely fast and looked at our roof. He explained that several repairs needed to be done and the skylights needed to be replaced. He said he could do the repair that week and the skylights as soon as they came in. The price was 3200.00 total and he wanted $1600 down to purchase the skylights. I wrote a check for $1600.00 which he cashed about 5 mins after I gave it to him. Then he disappeared and never came back. I called over and over and he called several times saying he was coming but never showed. Finally, I hired someone to call him and let him know we were filing felony grand theft charges if the money wasn't returned. He did return the money after 2 more weeks. After 3 months we hired another reputable company to do the roof.

    Heritage Home Renovations
I hired this company for a complete renovation.  I was going to be out of town for the 10 weeks it was estimated to complete the job.  I paid in full up front so that my being out of town would not hold up construction.

One year later my project is incomplete.  My roof leaks.  My fence is unlevel.  I have one gate that is like my fence and two gates that are completely different.

I have a dumpster full of trash in my yard.  Water now runs into my basement when it rains and never did for the twenty years I have lived there.

My yard has piles of dirt in it.  My bedroom floor is ruined.  Some of my doors were put in so the light switch is on the opposite side of the opening.

I was to have decorative concrete and have none.

The stack stone (brick) is falling off of the walls and columns that surround my pool.

I have had to rerun the electrical and all of the plumbing has been redone causing me to have to cut access panels in walls, floors, and ceilings.

As stated above this company has was paid and did not complete the work.  HHR's work that was performed is now having to be redone due to leaks, electrical failures, etc.  Kris Pawlak and Tony Cunningham were the two owners I dealt with and neither of these men kept their work about anything.  If you choose to deal with either of these men a tape recorder and everything in writing is in your best interest.

    P&M Construction
Paul Ghilardi (dba P&M Construction in Winchester, TN) roofed my house a couple of years ago. After taking several estimates from various local roofers, I chose Paul's small business for the job. The price estimate was competitive; and Paul seemed eager to get the work. After a couple of days of work, the roof was completed. During the roofing job, some interior damage occurred when a flash thunderstorm dropped rain overnight on the unprotected roof.  Although I really thought Paul was responsible for the damage, I decided to handle that repair myself to the tune of $500.  Overall the finished roof looked good, so I paid the full amount -- materials and labor -- agreed upon before the job started. Paul gave me a 5 year written guarantee on his work. His parting comment was "if you ever have a probem with the roof, just give me a call and I will be there to fix it."

Last year the roof developed a sporadic leak which appeared to me to come from a vent that Paul had placed in the roof directly over the area where the leak occurred.  The ceiling drywall was damaged.   I called Paul.  After several days, he came over to the house for a quick look.  His comment was that the leak did appear to come from the vent, and that he would be back to trace down the leak and fix it.  That's the last I ever saw of Paul.  Weeks passed.  After a number of phone calls to Paul asking him when he would repair the leak, Paul finally told me that he was not going to repair the leak because he had decided that the leak was originating from the second floor siding.  I argued that he had not really investigated the problem.  Without looking at the interior of the roof, how could he know for sure where the leak originated?  Because the vent was directly over the leak, it seemed to me to make more sense that the roof vent was the root cause of the leak.  Paul essentially told me (over the phone) that my opinion did not matter.  He had already decided.  Then he dropped the real bomb on me.  Paul stated that the business I had contracted for the roof repair (P&M Construction) no longer existed.  Therefore, Paul was not responsible for the roof.  Any repairs made by him to my new "guaranteed" roof would be at my expense.

In hindsight, I should have contracted the roof through a more established, reputable business.  Even though Paul provided references (which I checked) I realize now that the vetting process was flawed.  My experience with Paul's business philosophy has made me very reluctant to hire local talent for repairs to my renovated farmhouse.

    Colby Phillips Construction
He arrived for the estimate and was very likeable young man. The next day he gave me a precise estimate and the following week he started the job. They arrived at day-break worked all day. This continued for 2 more days and he was complete on the fourth day. He walked around with me for quality check while his workers finished clean-up. I paid him and I am more than satisfied.
