AJP Wright SepticWe woke up to sewage trouble two days after Christmas. After fighting the problem and talking with various vendors, my wife reminded me to check Angie's List. JP Wright had multiple happy customer reviews and you can add me to that list. They were at my house within 30 mins and took the time to really check out my situation. They did not push repairs or expense, but methodically checked items and told me what they were looking for and what it would mean before each step. Our "new to us" house is 30+ years old. We ended up pumping out the tank, verifying the internal baffles were good, adding risers for easy access later and installing all new field lines. The equipment for the lines they added were better than the minimum that the state of TN requires. They were HUGE. They also repaired (better than before) the french drains that were in the way of the required repairs. The workers with this family run business were prompt, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They did the work for half the cost that other vendors quoted me. I also believe they used better materials to get the job done. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone needing this type of service.- Shaun B.

ARapid Rooter PlumbingShane is the man to call if you have problems with your septic. I've used two previous plumbing companies before and will never go to anyone but Shane in the future. We needed a complete upgrade to our 50 year old system. Shane custom designed a way so I could keep my original solid tank and yet allow for the liquids to be pushed into another tank and then feed into new very upgraded field lines. Our system was having to get pumped every few months. I don't think we will need a pumping now for a while. I absolutely highly recommend Shane's team at Rapid Rooter, you won't be sorry.- David P.

ARapid Rooter PlumbingWe bought our house 2.5 years ago and started having septic issues within the first 6 months of living here. We were pumping our septic tank about every 9 months. Since COVID and quarantine, we have been pumping every 3-6 weeks. We have been told by many that our field lines are blocked and we needed to replace them. We had hired a company in July and after having little to no communication from them for two months we decided to find another contractor. I checked Angie's List and called a couple more companies with one of them being Rapid Rooter. I called Rapid Rooter on Sunday 8/30 and Shane called me back Sunday evening, then came out on Monday 8/31 to give us an estimate. Shane offered to try and repair the lines and save us money (no other company offered to repair the lines). Shane gave us two estimates, one to repair ($3,800) and one to replace ($5,800) if they couldn't repair. We hired them Monday, they called all the utilities on Tuesday 9/1 to mark their lines, and we were on Shane's schedule for Thursday 9/3. Shane and his crew came out and completed the job. What I thought would take a couple of days, took hours for them and with extreme efficiency. They started at 8:30am and left at 3:00pm. They did try to repair the line but once it was dug up, it was discovered the old field lines went uphill (huh?) and into the forest, and were not salvageable. They communicated and showed us, and we approved the full replacement of lines. The new field lines had to be relocated to the front yard which went downhill (gravity, duh!). Our baffle in the tank had also deteriorated to nothing, so they replaced that as well. They did end up cutting through our main water line (only because it wasn't where we all thought it was), and replaced that with better material than what we previously had at no extra charge. I highly recommend Shane and Rapid Rooter. He communicated via phone, text, and constantly while here on the project. He had our project done less than one week from my first call. He was straightforward with our options and even purchased materials for two new hose bibs that we wanted installed if repair of field lines was possible. Since we had to replace and relocate the lines, we couldn't do the hose bibs at this time, but we will sure be calling Rapid Rooter out again soon, to put in the hose bibs. Lesson learned from this project is that the cheapest isn't always the best. If you want your job done right and be able to get it done promptly and on time, call Rapid Rooter to take care of you. They will have all my future business and references.- Ann T.

ARapid Rooter PlumbingThey are amazing. The rapid rooter team were professional and really look out for the customer. They do the job right. They were able to replace my septic tank and field lines for a fair price and did it all in one day. I felt cared for and rest assured. Would recommend highly to anyone.- Chris M.

ARapid Rooter PlumbingThey were super quick in their response time; about ten minutes after I had requested a quote, they called to tell me they were on their way. Our septic field was really backed up but they were able to come out later the same afternoon with a backhoe to dig up the yard and see why it was backed up. Apparently the leech line had been routed beneath a huge tree and the roots were choking the field badly. They saved us *so* much money by repairing the line instead of needing to have the whole tank replaced, which was quoted anywhere between $4500 and $6500. We ended up paying $2800 to have the lines rerouted and the clogs cleared up and I honestly couldn't be happier with their work. They were so quick and friendly and polite and my drains are working perfectly again. Thank you so much!- Serena R.

ARapid Rooter PlumbingA few months ago I found a leak in what I thought was our septic system in our backyard. It smelled like sewage and was near our tank so seemed like a reasonable assumption. We have a pool and lots of concrete and for some reason our septic tank is underneath all this concrete near the pool (was this way since we moved in). I had a few different plumbers come out and take a look. Nearly all of them took one quick look at it and immediately decided it would be just as expensive to tear up all the concrete getting to the septic tank and field lines just to figure out where the leak was. So they all recommended just installing a new tank. In a way they were all correct, it would have cost a fortune to get to the tank. But when Shane came out and checked the leak he suggested that he spend a little time digging where the leak was in case he found it quickly. He thought it might be a field line leaking that wasn't buried as far away from the grass as the tank and might be accessible. He did agree that if he couldn't find the leak in the first couple of feet then it would be best just to go ahead and install a new tank. I should add that his quote for installing the new tank was the best I found, plus he said he would not charge me for the extra work looking for the cause of the leak if he didn't find it. When he and his two co-workers came out they started by digging out the area where the leak was as well as digging a few yards away from the concrete in hopes of finding a field line leading to the leak. They spent about 2 hours working on finding the leak and eventually they did. it turned out the leak was not from the septic system at all! Our kitchen sink and washing machine (possibly dishwasher too) had a separate line not connected to the septic system that had broken and was leaking. Shane fixed the leak and installed a new field line for this separate line and our problem has been solved. It was still an expensive fix (about $5000), but he saved us at least $4000 ($9000 was the cheapest quote for our new tank installation and re-routing plumbing). Not only that, but had we had a new tank installed, we would have spent that $9000 and still had the same leak! Shane was the only person who even made the suggestion to take a closer look where the leak was. All the other plumbers just immediately decided I needed to install a new tank. So we could have ended up spending nearly 10k (or even more depending on which plumber we chose) on a new tank, then another 5k on fixing the real issue! And let's not even get started on the fact that our whole side yard would have been torn up as part of the new tank installation (the field lines he installed were in back in an area that we didn't care as much about). So I can't thank Shane enough for being sensible and suggesting spending just an hour or so diagnosing the problem before jumping into a super expensive fix! I would for sure recommend Rapid Rooter again!- Lee E.

ARooter Express TennesseeMike and Jerry came to my home when no one else would .. I was in a panic. They came and put me right at ease. They got started right away and with in no time my plumbing nightmare was coming to and end. They were upfront about what needed to be done and I feel these men will get my house in order once again. I hope I never need their services again once this is resolved but if I ever do they will be the first people I call- John L.

AI called at the end of the work day on a Monday. Two of his emergency people were sick and he said he couldn't get to me till after 10 PM. With that being the case, he first asked who else I had called so he could think of who else might be able to help me. After discussing the particulars of the leak (being outdoors and not leaking onto wood, he said he could come the next day. They arrived in a timely manner, replaced the pipe with one less likely to break from freezing and also cleared a stopped gutter drain that I had kept meaning to get cleared. They were very nice and quite reasonable. I would absolutely hire again and they will be my first call for my next emergency plumbing situation.

FDelta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.
