  I was anxious about having my newly adopted dogs bathed. To my knowledge, they had only had 2 baths in all their 8 years (and those were after they were surrendered to the Humane Society). But when I picked them up, they were perfectly happy and I was told they did great. So they were well taken care of. And their fur was so soft! I will definitely be taking them there again!

  The cost depends on how furry the animal is and how much work they have to do.  It's generally not more than $50.00.  They have other dogs that they work on at the same time.  We just drop her off and they get to her when they can.  Then they call me when she's finished. The groomer that I always request is amazing.  Our pet doesn't tremble or anything, so she likes her. With that particular girl, she's all over her.  Licking her and everything.  They are very convenient. They are there when I need them.

  Pick of the Litter Grooming by Rikki

  I am extremely satisfied with the service and experience that I and my dog received. I had just adopted a 6 yr old boxer mix 3 days prior and Rikki was so helpful to work with my schedule. She requested that she have enough time to play with him beforehand and did not seem concerned at all that I knew so little about his behaviors since I had not had him long. She gave me a full report when I picked him up, suggested brushes and recommended how often I should have him bathed. Buddy was so comfortable there that he fell asleep during his facial! I felt she truly cares about the "customer", and Buddy will definitely be a repeat "customer".

  Taylor Animal Hospital

  The overall experience was extremely positive. Having had a bad experience with another kennel, we decided to leave our dogs here, where we also take them for vet and grooming. When we returned a week later the dogs were clean and happy - exactly the opposite from the last kennel we used. While we were gone, a friend went by unannounced to visit our dogs and reported to us that they were very happy and the kennel was exceptionally clean. The only negative in the entire experience was the fact that there was no price discount for two dogs, even though they shared the same kennel space. Every other kennel in our area offers discounts when the space is shared. Even so, the fact that our dogs were well cared for means I will not hesitate to use Taylor in the future.

  Pick of the Litter Grooming by Rikki

  I called Ricki the DAY BEFORE we left for vacation and she worked our schnauzer, Sebastian, in her schedule. She and her staff were very pleasant and you could tell they LOVED dogs. I described the way I wanted him cut and 3 hours later picked up the most beautiful little schnauzer you have ever seen! I am delighted to find this kind of quality grooming so close to home. I will most definitely be returning for Sebastian's next grooming!!

  Ark Pet Spa

  When I originally saw the review on Angie's List for the Dayton location, I was excited and ready to make my first appointment. I called the Dayton store and they asked me if I wanted to use the E Brainerd location as that is considerably closer to my home. How nice! Both locations quoted me $45.00 on the phone. I went to collect my dog because no one called from from the salon and it was several hours since I dropped her off. They claim they wrote my number down incorrectly, although the paperwork I filled out had my number and an emergency number. They charged me $50.00 plus tax which was $54.61ish. So, I asked why so much. They said that it was just an estimate over the phone, although they never said it was an estimate price over the phone and claimed my dog had mats which she also did not. I don't understand why a dog that weighs less than 10lbs should be that much money. I'd hate to think how much they'd charge for a dog weighing 30, 50 or more. I'm surprised they don't have financing available on premises. Needless to say, I'm still on the lookout for a groomer. It's a good cut, but it doesn't appear they even brushed my dogs ears.

  BARK AVENUE PET GROOMING

  Bark Avenue is WONDERFUL! Matt is incredible with the animals. My Goldendoodle, Bindi, is nervous around strangers and new places. Matt sat down on the floor with her, talked to her, and petted her until she relaxed. When I picked her up, not only did she look and smell clean and beautiful, but she was relaxed and happy! That's something that has never happened before! I am so impressed with Matt's work. He owns and operates a clean, professional, and relaxing grooming facility. If there is such a thing as having a calling in life, Matt has found his. I believe he may be a true-to-life dog whisperer. I will never take my Doodle to anyone else!
