    My timing belt broke within 10k miles of being replaced causing extensive damage to my engine and costing me $1700 to have it rebuilt. When I asked Steve Adams if he would pay for the engine to be repaired he said I was on my own. He made up a false story about the timing belt failing due to a spring. I've talked to numerous mechanics and posted questions on forums and they all say that this could have only happened due to incompetence on behalf of the mechanic. I wish I had never brought my car to Adams Automotive. They never even put my car back together, leaving the drive belt off and I had to get the car towed to another mechanic (see picture). I have filed a case with the Better Business Bureau and may end up taking Adams to court over this. Please do not make the same mistake I made by taking your car to Adams Automotive! As a side note, my car happened to break down after coming home from a busy shift at the hospital at 7:30 am on the Olgiati bridge on a Friday morning. I was stranded in one of the most dangerous places to break down and it was easily one of the scariest moments of my life! I had so many cars almost smash into my car doing 60-70 mph and it's a miracle I did not get hit because I most certainly would have suffered major, life threatening injuries!

    We've been using them for twenty years. They were very good. I go back to them every time. Their price varies each time but I didn't pay anything I just got lists of things they did. They got things done on the time frame expected but they're not quick.

    The entire process was fairly quick. B & F does a complete overhaul of vehicles that are over 100,000 miles. The car we purchased from them was in really good shape for a 2006 model. The car has run great so far at six months out. The only minor repair we've had to do was a broken window, and B & F took care of it quickly and correctly. B & F only deals with Volvos, but it is a great place to go if you are looking for a good quality, first car for your teenager.

    They changed the oil in my wife's Odyssey, as well as some other service items. They seemed honest and were very professional. As you might expect at a dealer, the prices weren't the lowest, but they weren't outrageous either. We will continue to use them for many of our service needs on the Odyssey.

    The last time we used Tire World was for an oil change on my wife's previous car.  However, we have used them many times for service and tires.  I would definitely recommend them.  Their prices on tires are fair, and they seem to be very forthright with options and real costs.  They have helped me make some good tire decisions in the past.

    I have a 2006 VW Jetta TDI with ~115,000.  Elias told me that my right front axle was shot.  It was making a considerable amount of noise.  They did a very good job and did it promptly.
    Also, I had a major service done there about a month before that.  The check engine light came back on after a few days, and we realized that VW sent Mtn Svc the wrong parts.  Elias got VW to correct the issue quickly, and Mtn Svc got the new parts in right away.  Also, tjhey still had my old parts, so they put them in for a day or so until the corrected parts came in.  That way I wasn't stranded without a car for two more days.
    I definitely recommend Mtn Svc.  Elias and his guys do a very good job.

    They did everything they could to find what was draining my battery so much. But it would never go down for them in the 4 days they had my car. They logged each reading they took. Even put in a brand new battery to see if it would react differently. Even though they never could pinpoint what the problem was, I feel they did everything they could. I'd or happens again I'll have to take it to the dealer for a more extensive service. They are very professional and friendly at Adams. They offer a complimentary shuttle which I had to take advantage of a few times.

    I purchased a Dodge pick up from the Knoxville location several years ago before the Chattanooga location had been built so my expectations were high. They do not dissapoint. I think this company has spent a lot of time examining the car buying process and they have worked hard to eleminate all the games and aggravation usually associated with the process. I would come here again. I think the car buying process is too slow in general, but theirs is very systematized and much speedier. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and patient and they work through the financing with you as opposed to moving you around and "hot boxing" you with the Sales Mgr and  then the F&I guy. The only other person we met with was the appraiser. Of course they didn't give us as much as we wanted for our van that we traded (does anybody?), but their offer was fair. The price of their vehicle was less than similar ones at the Dodge dealer. So overall a purchase that I normally dred was actually relatively painless. I think i will always check with them when I'm contemplating a car purchase.

    For starters they were waiting for me and called me by name when I arrived. (nice touch) They then asked if I would like to wait, or if I needed a ride, or if I had other transportation. They told me it would take 45 mins. I thought yeah right and went to lunch with a friend. Well sure enough after 45 mins. car wasn't ready. It wasn't ready because they had washed it and vacuumed it out : ) I hadn't asked for that but it was part of the deal! Very nice. The best part however was because it was my first oil change with them it was free. As I got back in my car I noticed a little note that reminded me they service all models of GM cars and included two mints--nice touch. I thought service was dead. Apparently it's not dead it just moved to Integrity.
