    We requested service in the rush after Christmas, but Sergio scheduled us from between 6 and 8; he called to let us know that he was running late but that he would come anyway if it wouldn't be too late for us.  He patiently removed the ice buildup on the fan motor so that we could have uninterrupted use of the fridge while we waited for the thermostat to arrive.  Before ordering the part on Monday at his office, he called to tell us the price to make sure we wanted it.  Although he expected the part to arrive two days later, the company from whom he ordered it did not have one in stock and had to search around to find one.  Although this process took far longer than we expected, he kept in touch and once one had been located, he had it shipped overnight.  On its arrival, Mike came within the time span we chose, and life in the kitchen has been back to normal.  Sergio and Mike were both very professional and very pleasant to deal with.  This was the second time we've used Ultimate Service, and we will certainly contact them again when the need arises.

    When Ken arrived, my neighbor was outside and shouted out, "Hey Kenny!".  Good start.  He was a professional and nice as could be.  Took care of my problem quickly and even correctly installed the pedestal that had not been installed correctly. 
    I bought a Maytag front loading washing machine from Sears that did not work for 14 months though it was under their Master Protection Agreement the entire time.  They couldn't fix it and wouldn't replace it, but gave me $100 per year in compensation for having to drive a distance to a laundromat. It was a nightmare, but they finally agreed to replace it. When Sears came out to install, it was a nightmare.  I had become traumatized having to deal with them...wish I had counted the many hours I spent on the phone.  I have approximately 33 pages of notes about the experience as I learned I should not talk with anyone until they gave me their employee ID number.
    When the new machine wasn't working after the Sears 'installation', I got lucky as the previous company, partially owned by Sears, must not have been available.  That same company kept putting a new control board in the old washer that was the wrong control board. $4000+ in parts, not including labor, and 14 months later, still no washing machine.  So that they messed up the install, too and happened to send out Chattanooga Appliance instead, was my lucky day.  
    I also had a new Bosch range and after a power outage, the digital control was stuck.  I couldn't change the time nor turn on the oven.  When I called the vendor I have that warranty with, I requested Ken with Chattanooga Appliance.  He also took a look at my Bosch dishwasher, but that was easy and I had already figured out what was wrong.  Very nice of him to take a look when the call was about the washing machine though.
    Took a lot of misery, but now I know who to turn to if I have appliance issues, thank goodness.

    dryer was not heating. they replaced two thermostats and it quit working shortly after they left. they returned and repaired it again and it worked for 2 days then broke again.they fixed it again and it quit again that same day.the cashed my check for@ $250 and now they will not answer the phone or return calls. I am well within the 30 day warranty on labor that they bragged about.Pathetic way to teat people. if you can't fix the problem then give the customer their money back.

    Mike was very nice. He went right to work and had both jobs done in 30 minutes or less. After showing him the oven, which the door would not stay "down" when fully opened and the washer would not drain or spin, he tested both even made the adjustments to the oven door and then provided a diagnosis for the washing machine and provided a verbal quote.
    He stated that he carried the part he needed to fix the washing machine on his truck so the repair could be done immediately. After agreeing to the quoted price for the oven door adjustment and lid switch Mike went right to work and had the repair done in about 20 minutes.
    He was very nice and tidy, he even answered a few other questions along the way.

    We called him this morning, left a message, he called us back within the hour, made an appointment for the afternoon.  He showed up a little late, but called to say he had locked his keys in his car and was waiting for help to arrive but would be there within an hour.  He showed up, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was gone within an hour.  He was polite, soft spoken, friendly, and personable.  (sometimes repair guys can be gruff because they can't get along with people, but I get the sense that Sergio is a people person -- a rare trait in this profession in my oppinion.)
    Needless to say we were very pleased we didn't have to replace our tried and true washer.  He gave us a 30 day guarantee and even offered to help carry boxes out, as he noticed I was moving things when he left.  We will definitely call him again.  He wasn't creepy and knew what he was doing.  thanks so much, Sergio!

    I called Bodkin Appliance Service at 9 am Friday morning. The nicest (local) lady took my information and told me she would "page him right now because he likes to put refrigerators first". Within 15 minutes Mr. Bodkin called me back and told me he would be here around 10:30! (That was only an hour and a half away). He called me just before arriving, came straight in and had my relay (whatever that is) fixed in about 20 minutes. He was friendly, professional, neat, and went out of his way to educate me about refrigerators and maintenance. He even said a few friendly words to my cat. I will always call Eddie Bodkin first for appliance repairs and I will recommend his service any time the subject comes up. Also, my call to Eddie Bodkin's service was my 3rd call this morning looking for a repair service. The first call was to a local company and after the guy lectured me on where refrigerators come from " Lady, they're made by man, not God" (mine is 8 years old) and shoving his price in my ear, hung up on me! The second call I made was to a chain hardware store; an 800 number and I was able to get an appt for 1 week from today! No thanks! Bodkin's phone answerer was like a breath of fresh air. Real people doing real work!
