Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • All the projects went great, we use the patio all the time to entertain and just hang out and enjoy a quite fire. The floors in our family room look great, most people do not know that they are a poured concrete floor. The company who installed my outbuilding said it was great to work on a slab that was flat and square. I use that build to store my tractor and other farm equipment. Adkrete show up on time and was professional in doing their jobs. My wife and I are completely satisfied with all the work that Adkerte has performed for us. If we have other projects in the future we will be calling on them again.

  • Everything went well. Jason quoted us a price and kept to his word. I found Jason's company on Angie's List and glad I did. I checked with another company who quoted me a lower price but their communications was sub-par. I would definitely use Jason's company in the future for similar needs.

  • Tree removal was done well including clean up. Stump grinding was done by a sub contractor. Asked Scott if cleanup up was included and he stated that nobody does that. I think he meant he does not offer that. The stump grinding did leave some of the root ball that will require additional work.

  • I like Travis and I wish I could leave a good review but that wouldn't be honest. Asked for certificate of insurance-was told to call his wife. I saw no safety equipment like helmets and eye/ear protections, plastic water bottle remained about the property even after they cleaned up, all "fire wood" was 2 to 5 feet, not 16" he promised. Had to call him back to fix it. Asked for receipt and never got one. For $2,350 I expect professional conduct. Travis is a good guy but the business needs attention and new crew members. I can't recommend them.

  • All the work was professionally done. It looks great. Ab is so easy to work with. Very responsive. Always communicates frequently and clearly. Does quality work for a fair price. Really excellent! I would definitely recommend him to friends and colleagues. (Actually I already have!)

  • After missing the first appointment for which I took vacation from my job to make (no contact was made to inform me that the appointment would be need to be rescheduled), I contacted them via Angie's List email a second time.  They were apologetic and promised to make the next appointment (which they did).  The work was reviewed and scheduled for the next business day (very quick response).  A 3-man crew arrived as scheduled with 3 additional workers arriving about 5-6 hours later.  Overall, aside from the missed initial appointment which I would have completely understood had there been any attempt to contact me to reschedule, I would say that the company performed to my expectations.  Given that the 3-man crew worked in scorching heat without complaint and checked with me several times throughout the day to ensure I was satisfied with their work, I would recommend this company to others and use this company again in the future.

  • I bought the Angie's special of $99 for $200 worth of tree work.  Scott, the owner, contacted me and came and gave us an estimate.  The work was scheduled approx. 1 1/2 weeks out.  I contacted Scott and informed him that I was worried about the tree coming down since it had some damage to it from an earlier storm which had knocked a tree of mine onto the neighbor's house. He replied that I was set up for Monday. Monday morning, the crew showed up, did all the work I had asked for, and cleaned up perfectly!  They hauled everything away, even a tree that had previously been cut by my husband and just left where it fell.  They did a great job and were very professional.  If I need any further tree work done, I would definitely hire them again!!!

  • I trusted him but he quickly lost my trust ,he needed too much money upfront yet he did not get the work done on time.
On April 4 2014 Eddie Sellars came onsite for the first time.  he gave me a price for the job which supposedly included the bricks and other materials.  He needed $200 upfront to supposedly by the mortar and othe items.  He was given a check which he took straight to the bank to cash.
On April 20th he said he had ordered my bricks from General Brick and Shale.  I was out of town and during this phone call he asked for $350.00 to buy the brick.  I mailed him a check which he promptly cashed.  Guess what?  no bricks appeared.
While I was still outr of town he called me and said the bricks would be arriving anytime and he was going to pick them up but he needed another $250.00 whcih would be the last of the payments.  So by now we had paid him 3 installments and the expense had increased to $800.00.
Four weeks went by as we called him twice daily wanting to know where he was and where our bricks were.  We kept in touch with General Brick and Shale and they said they had an order from Eddie Sellers but he had not come to pick them up.

On June 8th he unexpectedly showed up and removed all of the old bricks from the porch.  A friend warned us that we were now worse off then before - since we now had NO steps!  In early July he again showed up to get the fotter preapared and gave me a sob story that he needed to borrow $400 because his wife needed a prescription filled and they had no food.  I was a sucker and fell for it.  Are you getting the picture?  Eddie Sellers is a con artist. Three weeks went by and call after call was not returned.  I aleerted General Brick and Shale that this guy was a liar and a thief and that we were going to file a lawsuit against him.  They contacted another brick mason who paid for 2 straps of brick and got Sellers to return to work on our steps.  After 2 more weeks our steps were completed and look beautiful.  Eddie returned the next day witha bill for $1600.  I showed him my list of payouts and told him to collect his tools and leave. However, Eddie Sellers leaves a lot of pain and frustration behind with his clients.  Oh buy the way - he called me yesterday asking for a loan.  I promptly hung up.

  • They were very prompt in providing an estimate for the necessary service and provided GREAT pricing. Considering the damage from the storm in our area they were able to get us into the schedule quickly. Their work was very complete. The crew was very courteous and personable. They cleaned up after themselves very well.

  • These are true professionals.  They came with all the heavy equipment (cranes, bucket truck, chippers, grinders, etc) needed to do the job efficiently.   They were careful not to damage any of the close structures like our fence and front porch.  The entire job was finished in one afternoon and the morning of the next.  They did exactly what I wanted and were very, very professional in "finishing" the job, ie. cleaning up, blowing and putting down the straw and seed.  One of hardest working crews of men I've seen in some time.  No wasted time - at all!    I will certainly use them again and not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
