Andy's team (Van and Wayne) did an outstanding job on a very large two story home.....with a chimney that made it more like 3 stories.! Always on time, very professional and paid attention to the details. Great to communicate with and always asking if there was anything else they could do. Could not have gone more smoothly. Great job, Andy!!

Mr. Linville performed a beautiful job refurbishing our kitchen cabinets, moving out our old nasty 24" double oven, added more cabinets, were prompt, professional and displayed a very good work ethic.  They cleaned up after themselves, did a great job and even finished a day early.  We were very happy with their work and talked with them about other future projects that we are planning (and plan to use them for the work).
I would recommend Linville Custom Designs without hesitation to anyone needing home repair/remodeling.
The job was contracted through Home Depot and I really wish that we had known about Linville Custom Designs before going through home depot (because we would have done some things differently- like moving a wall out to fit a larger double oven), but not knowing any contractors personally and frequenting Home Depot, we went that route.  Next time we'll call Sam Linville first.
Home Depot had told us that their installers were Home Depot employees (gave us the big everybody is Home Depot family idea) and they do a good job screening all of their contractors, but Sam Linville is an independent contractor (a good one) and not a Home Depot employee (so they get no discounts or benefits from Home Depot).  Sort of sad that they don't even give them any kind of discount when purchasing supplies, when they are screened, contracted and paid by Home Depot. They made a good choice contracting with Sam (and we appreciate the introduction to a nice independent contractor).  Thanks Sam for a job well done.  We'll call you in a few months when we've saved up the money to do our bathrooms too!!!

It went very well even though rain delayed the deck a little. The Master Bath had new lights and medicine cabinets installed along with a handrail for the whirlpool tub. The deck was tripled in size with lattice work around the bottom. The deck is very sturdy and looks awesome. It also has an aluminum cover to keep out the rain and now we can use it almost year round. this is the second time I have used Mel for a major project and I will use him again as he is great to work with and his staff does exceptional work.

This company does not need any new business.  They must be so overbooked that they ignore potential customers. First time  I called them and a man answered the phone and said that he would call back in about an hour, I waited two days with no callback.  I called again and this time left a message on the phone, I waited another two days, without a callback. (I'm persistent)  I then went to their website and left a message there and they did call me back three days later.  They scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 3 PM, but called an hour before the appointment to say that the owner had called a special meeting that all employees had to attend and rescheduled it for the next day at 3 PM.  Got another call that morning asking that it be rescheduled for the next day, but got another call saying that they could not make this one due to again another job and rescheduled it for Friday.  The man showed up and promised me that he would have me an estimate in two days.  I'm still waiting.  I'ts been over a week.

Their work might be very good, but you would never know it the way that they treat their potential customers.

They got here on time, set up for work and started immediately.  I had everything laid on the porch.  They replaced the posts on the front porch with larger posts, which was quite an undertaking, but it went well.  They dug the hole for the post for the railing to attach to, mixed and poured the concrete around the post.  They went to lunch and let the concrete set up.  They bought back some items that were needed.  The railing was a kit with numerous parts to  cut to fit and installed.  They had to get out a special saw to cut the vinyl railings.  It was complicated but Andrew Dare finally figured it out and put it all together.  He did caulking and finished up.  The clean-up took some time but they left the place immaculate.  Excellent workmanship, great job!

We were very disappointed in the job done by Improve America. They had to return several times to complete work that they had missed. We ended up having another carpenter finish the work because we were just tired of dealing with them.

Amazingly well. Tim helped complete my design. He listened to me to understand what I wanted and worked with me to make it happen. His work was excellent and I am very proud of the finished results.
