Inn At Wolftever / Wolftever Pet Hospital
I have used two other local kennels for boarding and neither provide the level that is provided by Wolftever. Although my dog has problems when boarded, she does very well at Wolftever. A lot has to do with the facility itself, choice of different size rooms ( yes rooms not cages) either inside or inside/outside. They provide auto water dishes, tv's and webcam access. Would definitely use in the future.

    Riverview Animal Hospital
Dr. Tai treats the animals like they're his own. There's no problems with scheduling. Their follow-up care was excellent for the surgery. They instructed us on how to do physical therapy with her. She stayed overnight after the surgery. We brought her back every two weeks for the next two months to monitor her progress. There were no additional costs for the follow-up appointments.

    LABBY LANE KENNEL
This is the one kennel in this area that I trust completely. I don't leave my babies (dogs) with just anyone and Crystal gives them excellent attention. My dogs even look forward to going to her facility. They are great about giving medications and special instructions and I trust them completely. Also, they have the cleaest facilities of anyone I have ever used which also includes a 2 acre playpark for pets to run in while being supervised, I highly recommend them.

    ARK PET SPA & HOTEL
This was our dog's second and last visit. The first one was ok but we had to call (never talked to a person and left messages) and remind them of their agreement to not allow our dog out in the "pack" outings they espouse but to let him out by himself (he's a fairly recently adopted rescue dog and we wanted to take things slow with him). We knew they disregarded our wishes because we saw him out with the other dogs on their video cams! This second experience was the worst experience we've ever had involving a boarding kennel. We dropped our dog off and again reminded the employee receiving our dog of our preferences for his socialization before leaving him off. On Monday, I called the office and let them know that a friend was picking him up and asked if all went well. I was told that it "must have" because "we didn't hear anything and we usually do when there's a problem". The friend picked him up and again nothing was mentioned about my dogs health. When my dog got home, I noticed two very nasty looking puncture wounds (dog bite marks!) just millimeters from his left eye! Upon closer inspection, I realized that the wounds had been glued shut! As a former ER nurse, I knew this was exactly the wrong thing to do. I immediately called my vet to get an appointment and then the ARK. When I expressed my great distress over this injury, after the person answering the phone said she knew nothing, she got the "story" from the manager. Apparently on Sunday evening, my dog was being led on a "short leash" past another dog (why was he out with other dogs?) and both dogs spied a piece of food on the floor and "went for it at the same time". Obviously, my dog was not under control by the person with the leash and neither was the other dog. My dog got bitten severely near the eye. At no time did they call us or a vet but rather instituted their protocol to handle "small" injuries I was told included cleaning and glueing "to keep the germs out"! When I told the manager this, in my opinion, was no small injury and In any event the owner should be advised of ANY injury. And asked why I hadn't been notified when I called that morning, she said "they meant to" but hadn't gotten to it yet!!!! I looked at my dogs "report card" and nothing was mentioned about the injury In that either. I took my dog to our vet whose very first statement was "they did exactly the wrong thing"! She then had to peel off all the glue from his wounds which was painful and distressing to our poor boy. She said he was "extremely lucky" since the injury was so close to his eye and that unrestrained dogs going after the same food can inflect great great damage. She placed our dog on a two week course of systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds along with a topical ophthalmic antibiotic (the ARK used Neosporin ointment). This visit cost $172.+ This experience was very upsetting for both my husband and I and our dog. This sweet dog was adopted by us in hopes that his future life, unlike his past, would be safe and filled with love. When employing people to care for our dog in our absence we expect no less from them.

I have known the Stanford family for over 40 years and used this clinic for 11 years. My furry friends are happy so I am happy. They are very professional, friendly and compassionate. A+++++ A must use!

    ANIMAL MEDICAL CTR KENNEL
We have a doberman pup and we were searching for a vet in the area that did a great job on ear cropping. Dr. Schaffeld came highly recommended and we know why. She began with her 1st round of vaccinations then 2 weeks later at 9 weeks, her ears were cropped. They did a wonderful job and great after care. Well, sadly 2 weeks later our pup got parvo and we took her into the dr. They immediately admitted her and put her in IV fluids. 6 days later she was back to her normal self! The doctor didn't charge us a thing for the admit. He respected gracious customers and that means more to them. Everyone in the office were incredibly helpful. They now have life long customers all the way in Ooltewah, TN. To find a business who not only notices but appreciates gracious and understanding customers is a rarity these days. They are truly about the pets and know how much they mean to us.

    A Trusted Friend Pet Sitting

Howard has been in business many years. I would say that he is honest, trustworthy and reliable.  Before he will come to sit for your pets he will come to  your house for a one on one and to meet your pets. From there he will discuss his qualifications and cost.

When I was talking with Howard he was very easy going and  and explained everything to me.  The best thing was that all three of my dogs liked him. Big plus for Howard.   I will be using his service again.

    OOLTEWAH ANIMAL CLINIC
I like them. They are fairly priced and they do not do anything that is not needed or overcharge. If I go in for a shot and if I do not want to pay for the exam, they will just give the shot; that is really nice about them. I am most likely to go back to them in future.

    Kingsbury Animal Hospital
This was my first visit to this animal hospital. I had moved to St. Louis five months ago. My cat acted as if he wasn't feeling well, and since this animal hospital had a number of good reviews on Angie's List, I gave them a call. I was able to get an appointment quickly. I filled out the online forms and took them with me along with the requested records from the vet where I used to live. The entire staff was professional, yet friendly and it was obvious that everyone in the office loved and respected animals. We got in on time and first the tech spoke with me, weighed him, and took his temperature. When the vet came in, he asked a lot of questions and listened patiently to everything I had to say. He looked my cat over and covered every inch of him. He answered all of my questions and it was determined that my cat was fine. I left feeling very good about my visit and will definitely be taking my cat back to this vet.

    WALLY'S FRIENDS
I have never had any problems with Wally's Friends. It is tough to get in touch with them, though. The phone rings off the hook day and night. They always call me back when I leave a message. And the facility is always jam-packed every morning at check in and check out. But they do fantastic work, and they really care about the animals.
