    Padgett's Red Bank Body Shop

I had some scratches to the front end of my 2005 Corvette which happened after I backed into a dark garage and raked that front end across an aluminum door handle. Since I am new to the area I go on Angie's List and searched for a body shop to fix the damage. Padgett's Red Bank Body Shop was highly rated but was 40 minutes from where I lived, but if what was being reported on Angie's list was true then it would be worth the trip since I would be paying out of pocket (no insurance claim). Drove in, they took a look, and the detail pro "Dickie" dropped what he was doing, had me pull the car over to the garage and then he spent about ten minutes removing the scratches. When he was done the scratches were completely removed and the deepest ones were virtually invisible. When I asked how much it would cost he just smiled and said "no charge". Unbelievable! I have never taken my vehicle into a body shop, had them take me in immediately and then perform work at no charge.

You can be certain that any future body work needed on my vehicles will go to Padgett's Red Bank Body Shop! You guys are the best!

    Import Auto Body
Import Auto does excellent work with all types of body repairs.  They handled all of the insurance paperwork and replaced an exterior door frame as well as fixed all the paint scratches all along the side of the car.
They have done work for us before on another car and have always been very professional and thorough.

    Capital Toyota
2007 Toyota Prius was in accident with major damage to back passenger side of car. Since car was hybrid, decided it was best to use reputable Toyota dealer, Capital Toyota. Capital promised it would be repaired "like new" with all new original Toyota parts in 2-3 weeks. After 3 MONTHS, car was received back (after 2 attempts to repair to industry standard) and the frame was clearly still bent and there were significant cosmetic issues. Car was taken to Reddick Auto Body for 2nd opinion. Reddick identified that there were, in fact, "issues" and "concerns" with quality of work. Insurance company, USAA, was contacted and they sent Physical Damages manager to review the issues with Capital's body shop manager and operation manager. Capital's operations manager, Gene McGhee, declined to show up for the meeting. When it was established that the work was very subpar, our insurance submitted to Capital that they pay to have corrective repairs done to the car at Reddick, USAA's preferred body shop. Capital agreed stipulating that we get an estimate from Reddick. Reddick gave an "estimate" of approx $2,000 and when submitted to Capital, they said they would only pay that amount and I had to sign an agreement releasing them of all liability should more damages be found. Reddick could not guarantee more problems would not be found once the panels were removed so we did not sign the agreement and retained an attorney. Our attorney advised us to proceed with corrective repairs and pay for them ourselves. Reddick removed the panels and found that Capital hadn't done the work for which they billed over $11,000. They didn't replace many of the parts and instead put wrecked parts back on car. Parts were glued in that should have been bolted. One piece that connected to the high voltage battery was installed with DUCT TAPE. A entire piece of the bumper that is federally mandated was missing entirely which posed great risk to my family. The rest of the bumper was not centered on the car. Capital was given multiple opportunities to look at the car and refused each time, even after lawsuit was filed. Professional photos were taken and there are over 50 images to show all of the fraudulent work. It costs approimately $10,000 more to have Reddick repair the car (and they did an OUTSTANDING job).
