    Great! He worked directly with the tenant to schedule a time to look at the stove and then checked with me to make sure that I wanted to move forward with the repair before he ordered the part. He then coordinated again with the tenant a few days later in order to fix it and I mailed him a check so I didn't have to take time away from everything else in order to meet him at the property.

    Excellent service. Two prior companies referred by retailer failed to show up. Called Mid State Appliance Repair in the morning and they were there by the afternoon, on time, and with a 30 minute call-ahead. Very professional, very knowledgeable.

    1 & Dunn Appliance Repair
    Mr. Dunn diagnosed the problem and I paid the trip charge. The dryer required a new controller board, which was expensive and had to be ordered. It was less expensive to buy a new dryer. The problem was Mr. Dunn's reliability. I called and set the appointment for a Thursday and arranged to work from home. Mr. Dunn did not show up. He called to let me know that he could not be there because of other work that took longer than he expected. He rescheduled for Friday, said he'd be there between 12 and 2 and did not show up. He called long after he was supposed to arrive and asked that we reschedule again to the following day. Mr. Dunn said I'd be the first on the list and he would arrive between 10 and 12. He finally got there at 1 p.m.

    1 & Dunn Appliance Repair
    Mr. Dunn repaired my dryer and the repair did not take long. Unfortunately, he did not show up when he originally told me he would be here. I called earlier in the week and Mr. Dunn said he would arrive the following day. He did not show up then, nor did he come the next day when he said he would be there. He did finally come today, Saturday, an hour later than he said he would arrive. He is a nice man and obviously competent, however I did not appreciate having to make arrangements for someone to be home three days in a row. He did give me trip charge discount, so it was $65 instead of $75.

    C & C Appliance Repair
    My 4 year old Samsung dryer quit tumbling.  I had the worse time finding someone who either didn't work on Samsung, wouldn't come same day (would be at least a week),  or wanted to charge ridiculous estimate fee.  Somehow I stumbled upon C & C .  I have never been so happy.  The tech came later the same evening, was extremely professional and knowledgeable of this product!  He was in and out in about an hour.  My dryer works like new.  Best of all, no one tried to sell me a service contract!!!!  Unheard of these days.  You can guarantee I will be calling C & C for my appliance repair from now on!

    SEARS PARTS & REPAIR CENTER
    First, the delivery was late by about 45 minutes past our 2 hour window.  They also had given the delivery people our old address even though we had our new address on everything.  That was a small part of their late arrival, but the addresses are only a little over a mile apart.  Apparently the freezer drawer was somehow damaged in the delivery since it had been fine in the store. So, there was about a 1/2 inch gap on the side keeping it from sealing.  The water filer was also missing, and water leaked into the inside when we tried to use it.  The delivery guy said that should go away when we got a filter.  It didn't.  I called about the freezer door within minutes of the delivery team leaving.  It took several calls and a week to get a repair person out.  He was helpful, but had to order parts which we had to wait another week on.  We were given a 4 hour window to expect the return visit.  About 2 hours in, we got a call from Sear's saying the tech would not be on time and they could not tell us how late he would be.  I explained we had plans for later that evening and asked if we could reschedule.  We were told that it would be another 9 days before they could reschedule.  The girl on the phone basically said it wasn't their fault that things happen and that was the best they could do.  We ended up waiting.  He arrived about an hour past the end of the 4 hour window we had been given.  He did get everything fixed pretty quickly with no problems.

    I called him because he had fixed my oven heating unit last year. I called him this time on Monday and he came the next day. He called to ask if he could come earlier than scheduled. Very polite and professional. He arrived and got to work right away. He told me what was wrong and how much to fix it before completing the work. He fixed the problem quickly and neatly. He cleaned up his mess and asked if all was ok before asking me to sign or pay for anything. He offered to come back for no extra service charge if it started to leak again. He knows what he is doing. I will be calling him for all my appliance needs. Marcus can do warranty work too. My freezer was still under warranty and I did not know it. Thanks Marcus.

    Fix It Right Appliance Repair Svc
    I called the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to have my fridge fixed since it was not cooling. The previous day I called several companies that stated they could not come until the following week. I called Fix It Right and they were able to come out in an hour. He prioritized my call and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in about 45 minutes. Now our fridge works great and we haven't had any other problems. The owner is very considerate and did a great job!

    PAYLESS APPLIANCES
    The customer service was horrible. They took my money but didn't repair the ice maker, then they refused to fix it at all. At one point, they cussed me out and hung up on me. Now I am out a couple hundred dollars, and have a broken ice maker. The owner yelled at me multiple times, and kept wanting more money.

    I felt he was very honest with me.  He determined that nothing was wrong with either appliance.  He didn't charge me a penny.  I did pay him for a service call, which I found very reasonable.  I was impressed and appreciated that he didn't service anything that didn't need serviced.
