    Custom Renovations Co
Job was more difficult than planned/estimated and Custom Renovations Company worked tirelessly to get it just right. My railing is very nice and will last a life time. I expect the best when I call Mark Steck and he (and the Company) deliver their best every job. If you are looking for value for the money, call Custom Renovations Company. One call does it all (it really does.)

Charlie and Kenny are a great team. They updated our 70's style den and foyer into a modern living space. They arrived at the same time everyday, worked all day, and completed the job in the number of days they were scheduled for. They were very good to discuss everything with us to make sure they knew what we wanted before doing the work and they told us that their main concern was for us to be happy. Not only did they complete the work that was originally planned, they through in some extras along the way. We had a garbage disposal that needed repairing and Kenny did the job for us while he was here at no extra cost. We were about to pay a plumber $400 to come out and do the repair. I couldn't be happier with these guys. We have already got them scheduled to do more work for us in May. They will be my first choice for future home improvements.

I could not be happier with the results. When the crew said they would arrive, they did. When I asked Will questions about the job, he was always immediately responsive. I had heard so many horror stories from friends about contractors. So, we were wary, but Angie's List steered us in the right direction. I read the reviews on AL, contacted three contractors and after meeting all three, we chose Summit Painting and Remodeling. They gave us the middle of three estimates. We are glad we chose Will. I felt that we were treated honestly and with respect throughout the remodeling process. At one point I was unhappy with the tile in the bathroom and Will made it right, at no cost to me. That was impressive; there was no argument or delay, he just did the right thing. We will definitely use them again - probably in the near future!

House looks great! Very pleased with their process - extremely professional - guys onsite kept things neat during work, asked questions when needed clarification, very polite and respectful of family and other workers. I am a frequent DIY type but did not want to paint standing on tall ladders again - so to say I am rather picky in results is an understatement... Well these guys simply hit it out of the ballpark. Paint coverage on the brick was complete with no touch-ups needed as they did not skimp on the paint (quality or amount). Coverage everywhere is very good and will protect our home for a long time (i worked in the coatings mfg industry before - they did it right). I like it that Will (owner) talked with me about what I wanted done, listened to me, and advised me when he had a better option.

    Curve Point Custom Creations
Our total kitchen makeover went extremely well. Planning the project required multiple visits and Oscar usually arrived a little early on each trip. He had great ideas, worked within our budget, and was flexible in incorporating and improving new ideas we'd seen on Houzz. He is open to learning and innovates often. In this project, existing cabinets had to be moved to different position on the wall and new cabinets were created. At no extra charge, he installed some unusual extra spice rack hardware that we'd purchased for the cabinets. The end result was excellent and a total transformation of our kitchen all within budget. Oscar carefully planned and executed the work so that their actual time working in the house was minimized. This project did not dirty the rest of our house because his team performed the work rather surgically: they installed plastic around the kitchen doorways and a vacuum system removed dust and debris. We highly recommend Curve Point.

Jeff and his crew did a great job, they were easy to work with, always on time and very detail oriented. Jeff was always open to making changes during the job and many times he made the recommendation to change little things that made a huge difference in the look. The tile shower and full glass door are beautiful. The sink design using an old table, vessel sink, and industrial faucet is awesome and better than we expected. I highly recommend Jeff and will use him again.

The project went great and we could not be happier. We expected something beautiful but I admit we did not expect the end result. Jeff and his crew were like artist. He would constantly bring up little ideas or nuances throughout the project that made a world of difference. He treated the project like it was his own home. One of his beat ideas was to hang a barn door at an opening above the stairwell and it looks wonderful. When we would want to make a change he took it in stride and always made it work. We wanted french style doors for the closet and bathroom with only a 30" opening and could not find anything without paying huge dollars so Jeff took cedar planks, cut an old door in half and made us the doors. A picture is attached. This project was not price dependent for us as we have been searching for someone to do this remodel for years. For what Jeff did for us I found the price to be excellent. The workmanship and detail was unmatched by anyone we have used before and we have had multiple projects performed at our home over the years. We will be using him again and in our opinion he is worth waiting on.

Very seldom do the results from a contractor exceed expectations, but Shawn's performance in renovating this house exceeded mine.  The highest contractor estimate was 50% higher than Shawn's and the other estimate was 22% higher. And the best part, the finished project cost was 17% under his estimate.   The estimated time frame from all contractors was expected to be 6-8 weeks depending on the condition of the underflooring.  From the date I gave Shawn keys to the house to the day he returned the keys for the new locks was 30 days. Shawn is very easy to work with and will do what you want to do. His experience makes him an excellent advisor on material selection and he is very competent in scheduling and managing materials, subcontractors, and his own employees. I will definitely use Shawn's services as a general contractor again.

We don't have a big house, but this was a big job!  Bottom line is that Corey and his team (Charlie was the only other person at our house throughout the entire project, but Corey brought two other guys for a couple of days during the first week of work) are great to work with.  And they do great work.  It turned out that hanging the new room doors in our 1970's-built house was quite the challenge.  Corey and Charlie worked together on most doors for several hours each.  They didn't stop until they got them exactly right.  And I mean EXACTLY right - all open and close easily and smoothly.  I'd be willing to guess that there aren't many teams out there that would have been as persistent as they were.  The closet doors (at least some of them) presented some challenges as well.  And again, the finished product is done well.  The baseboard and trim looks great.
Corey missed a  bit when estimating how long our job would take, so we ended up paying more than the original estimate.  I was OK with this for a couple of reasons:  i) I was home the entire time they were working, and I know they worked hard, very hard each day; and ii) the high quality of the finished product was worth the extra cost.
We have already scheduled Corey for another small job and will definitely contact him when we get ready to tackle a couple of other bigger jobs on our list.  He is booking several months out, I think.  But if you aren't in a big hurry and can work with his schedule, think about doing that.  You'll definitely be happy with his work.

    Michael P Welsh Remodeling
Mike completed a tough job and did it very well.  He came into the middle of a kitchen remodel after much demo and rough carpentry had already been done and finished it.  He was careful around old, delicate fiberboard ceiling tiles, used good judgement and good attention to detail (especially with trim work and cabinet fabrication to match old cabinets), and was very flexible and patient with us.  He was professional and responsive throughout.  He will be my first choice when it comes to future interior work at my home.
