Window Replacement reviews in Oak Ridge

We are extremely pleased with our new Provia windows and doors from CRS Exteriors, and the terrific job done by Dave Waliker and Scotty in installing them. They are true masters of the art, and the windows look incredible, inside and out. I would advise insisting on them if you have windows installed by CRS. Tim Fitchpatrick was the salesman and very helpful in adjusting to changes. We had 3 exterior doors (one full glass, one half glass), 19 large sliding windows, and 7 large picture windows installed for $26,700. We recommend them highly and are very pleased with the new windows.

I am happy to say that I have finally received service and help after two set scheduled appointments. The first day March 21st-I had requested, called, and left several messages requesting a time that day when they were going to be at the house. This was my only day off work and had available, but after a long wait they never came or showed up at all. I did not get a phone call, email, or follow up from Dwight regarding the time on arrival. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism he presented to me. Dispatch also did not return nor call me at all. I was going to simply give up and decide not to do business with Glass Doctor anymore, but I decided to give them another chance since we understand a busy schedule. Yesterday, my scheduled appointment for 4:30pm there was no where there at that time. After waiting 45 minutes, I called the rep and they said dispatch would call and let me know when a technician would arrive. Well, again no one called me back nor provided a time frame. I was about to leave when at around 5:30pm a technician finally arrived. Regardless of the stress I have been through and the extremely uneasy service I have been given, I was thankful that a technician finally arrived. Jason Green was the tech who arrived and did a wonderful job! I am very happy, pleased, and grateful for how kind and polite he was to me. After this horrible experience, Jason Green truly made up from all the negative encounters up to that point. I truly want to mention how wonderful and courteous Jason Green was. If it was not for him, I would not be a happy customer with Glass Doctor. After Jason finished, he gave me receipt and business card. Later, I got a call from a gentleman from Glass Doctor who mentioned he was supposed to meet with me today, he apologized for the wait time, and said he did not have phone signal where he was. I told him disregard, Jason Green has taken care of everything and I'm very happy with the service he has provided me. Jason Green saved a lot of stress for Glass Doctor had he not came yesterday and saved the day. Please take time to recognize his great effort and how he has made all the difference for Glass Doctor. Thank you and have a good day.

Job originally scheduled to begin 8/28. Weather delays and delays caused by illness and a previous job delayed start until late September. Original estimate by CRS of 3-4 days turned into 2 weeks of actual labor. However, crews were very talented and their experience showed. They were able to move a pet door and build an extension tunnel that makes the pet door look like it was part of the original house's construction. They cleaned up at the end of each day and let us know when to expect them on the next work day. The carpentry seem excellent and they matched external paint perfectly. We've had warm days since installation was completed, but the inside glass remained cool to the touch, attesting to the quality (so far) of the materials and construction. I can feel no drafts through the windows. The work crews did not damage anything. One thing that set CRS apart from other vendors/installers was their willingness to provide a 6-page list of customers, all of whom were willing to talk to us about their experiences, and one who allowed us to visit to see an actual installation.

Magnolia just completed a complete window replacement and siding job for our home. My wife and I are completely happy with the work they did for us. It has completely transformed the look and feel of our house. They were very professional and paid a lot of attention to detail. Our siding installer was a great guy and was very helpful. We're really glad we chose Magnolia and will be using them in the future for our remodeling needs!

Magnolia did an outstanding job replacing our outdated windows with new, energy efficient vinyl windows. They were very friendly and professional and showed up when they said they would. The windows are beautiful and greatly improve the look and feel of our home. John King was our initial contact. He provided the estimate and was very thorough and helpful at providing information about the windows and the installation process. I would definitely recommend Magnolia Windows if you want a quality product and excellent service.

The project went great and we could not be happier. We expected something beautiful but I admit we did not expect the end result. Jeff and his crew were like artist. He would constantly bring up little ideas or nuances throughout the project that made a world of difference. He treated the project like it was his own home. One of his beat ideas was to hang a barn door at an opening above the stairwell and it looks wonderful. When we would want to make a change he took it in stride and always made it work. We wanted french style doors for the closet and bathroom with only a 30" opening and could not find anything without paying huge dollars so Jeff took cedar planks, cut an old door in half and made us the doors. A picture is attached. This project was not price dependent for us as we have been searching for someone to do this remodel for years. For what Jeff did for us I found the price to be excellent. The workmanship and detail was unmatched by anyone we have used before and we have had multiple projects performed at our home over the years. We will be using him again and in our opinion he is worth waiting on.

It was told that the work will start in two weeks after signing the contract and expected to be completed in two weeks. The work did start after a month since signing the contract and completed in six months.

Only window and glass service that was responsive and willing to help fix a legacy broken window glass problem. Everyone else contacted wanted to replace the entire window set for 1500+ and Mountain Glass figured out a way to replace just the glass pane. True to their advertised capability and problem solving company. Great Job!

We don't have a big house, but this was a big job!  Bottom line is that Corey and his team (Charlie was the only other person at our house throughout the entire project, but Corey brought two other guys for a couple of days during the first week of work) are great to work with.  And they do great work.  It turned out that hanging the new room doors in our 1970's-built house was quite the challenge.  Corey and Charlie worked together on most doors for several hours each.  They didn't stop until they got them exactly right.  And I mean EXACTLY right - all open and close easily and smoothly.  I'd be willing to guess that there aren't many teams out there that would have been as persistent as they were.  The closet doors (at least some of them) presented some challenges as well.  And again, the finished product is done well.  The baseboard and trim looks great.
Corey missed a  bit when estimating how long our job would take, so we ended up paying more than the original estimate.  I was OK with this for a couple of reasons:  i) I was home the entire time they were working, and I know they worked hard, very hard each day; and ii) the high quality of the finished product was worth the extra cost.
We have already scheduled Corey for another small job and will definitely contact him when we get ready to tackle a couple of other bigger jobs on our list.  He is booking several months out, I think.  But if you aren't in a big hurry and can work with his schedule, think about doing that.  You'll definitely be happy with his work.

My wife called the supplier a number of times with no reply or call back. Unfortunate because we needed help with a cracked window and utlimately will/have had doors and windows replaced. I guess this supplier is not interested in Oak Ridge business. This is certainly our impression.
