    Reached out to Adam for a quote on getting a fence installed and heard back in less then an hour. Followed up with a call when I responded with questions. Price was outstanding and easy to schedule the work being done. Adam checked in multiple times prior to the install date to make sure we were good to go. Showed up on time and was VERY professional. Did an amazing job showing us what he did and how to use the equipment. Took all the time we needed to show us how to train our Sadie. Overall I could not be more happy with the service provided. Even after he was done I reached out to him a week later with questions and he spent the time to call my wife and answer the questions she had. I would recommend him 1000% for anyone looking to get a fence installed. Thanks again Adam it was a pleasure (and BTW Sadie is doing GREAT in the fence)

    Jamie just left after grooming our fur baby Snowball for the first time. She was on time, highly professional and the cost was very reasonable. Snowball usually drools badly and is shaking when we pick him up. With Jamie, there was no shaking and no drool. We are so pleased with Jamie we have already made our next appointment.     Kathy and her team are amazing. There are not enough superlative words to express the unbelievable job this company does. My dogs are like my children, and I do not feel good leaving their care to just anyone. From the first day, Kathy and her team have been nothing but exemplary. They are efficient, punctual, and have the necessary dog/people skills that my dogs are entitled to and deserve. Their follow through on each appointment is amazing via their wonderful text messages sent right to your phone. They give me such peace of mind that my dogs are being taken care of when I am at work. I have also used their service for when I went out of town and it is just as amazing as their daily walking service is and the great thing about that is my dogs get to stay in their home environment and get amazing care while I am away. I cannot say enough good things about this company and Kathy and her team. They are truly canine stars.

    NEW SHACKLE ISLAND VET HOSPITAL
    After having difficulties with a different veterinarian we tried New Shackle Island Vet Hospital and unfortunately it was for our 15 year old jack Russell (Skidder). He has been having seizures for 2 weeks, after all the tests were done at another vet we found out it was most likely a tumor. He has been healthy for the last 14 years. Our little man started to have difficulties with hearing and vision and now seizures. The seizures took a lot out of him. We knew the right thing to do but it really hurt. We decided to take Skidder on one last RV trip to the Smokey Mountains for all new smells. He had additional seizures and we were there for everyone and helped him as needed. Before I left, I called NSI Vet Hospital to see if final arrangements can be made ahead of time as he was the best dog we ever had and new we were not going to want to handle the bills and questions, we just wanted to have all this stuff done ahead of time, You see Skidder gets so nervous at vets we did not want to have him all nervous before his final minutes. NSI Vet Hospital staff told me they do not do that. I had this previously done with 3 other dogs with our previous vet without an issue but I was not going back to the vet that treated us like 2nd rate citizens. I guess I had to follow their protocol. I made the appointment for Friday at 11:30 am. We got there just 2 minutes before his appointment figuring they would be ready for us since this is an important final act for one of our family members. Nope they made us wait for 22 minutes after our appointment time to even get a room. Then I was given a tablet to fillout and answer a bunch of questions, this is specifically why I asked to have this done the week prior. I had tablet problems and more waiting. Skidder was a complete mess of nerves and panting like he could not catch his breath. The doctor finally came in and started the process which went fine after that but I have to admit I'm VERY disappointed in the service I had received for my "ball boy". Then I had to take care of the payment which I did not want to do after putting Skidder down. The staff here was not very helpful nor knowledgeable as the Doctor indicated we could have had all paperwork completed ahead of time which really ****** me off. Not only was this one of the worst days because of putting down our "ball boy", but due to the poor quality of customer service Skidder was not as comfortable in his last minutes which in turn made us feel horrible. We wanted to make this as easy as possible and NSI Vet Hospital did not allow this. They made sure they received their full payment but when it comes time on how the customer feels they do not seem to care. This was our first contact with NSI Vet Hospital and was a very negative memory. You figure they would want to do their best with a new customer instead of chasing them away. NSI Vet Hospital does not even want to find out how they did as I received no survey because if I did I would have filled this out and sent it back to them. In any case, our first appointment was horrible and I'm afraid to make any further appointments for my other pets due to the poor customer service I received.

    The person that showed up was knowledgable, no question. However, service was very expensive. The animal issue could have been resolved on the spot but instead, traps were set. Nothing was caught, however. Nonetheless, I ended up paying for everything. Way over priced.

    This is a wonderful Kennel!!!! We had family members recommend this kennel. They all raved about how awesome it is and I muse agree!!!! It was our first time boarding our dog, so we were pretty nervous. They took such amazing care of our sweet baby!!! I couldn't be more pleased! We will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them!!!!

    I have had my dog and cat for 7 years. I have moved all over the state and been to a few different vets. This is by far the worst office I have ever been in and I deeply regret ever having gone here. Every single vet that is employed here is a money hungry crook, and the owner is the worst of them all. I originally brought my dog to them last December and reported that she was limping. First, they told me it was hip pain. They did not feel x-rays were necessary, though I stated I was comfortable with whatever needed to be done to get her well. I was provided with a treatment plan, which I followed. She did not get better. I took her back several times from January to June, and each time I was told that she either needed more medication, more bedrest, or that it was something else entirely different, like bulging discs in her back. In June she was finally diagnosed with bilateral cruciate ruptures, which are knee ligaments. The vet who diagnosed her was a different doctor who had been seeing her. This new doctor told me it was likely she originally ruptured the first cruciate in December, when I first brought her in. Due to the increased strain she was subsequently placing on her other leg, she then ruptured her other cruciate. The only thing they could do for me at that point was refer me to an orthopedic surgeon who would perform a repair. The repair, a TPLO, is costing me almost $4,700 per leg, plus strict bedrest of two months where I have had to watch my dog suffer through the agonizing process of healing. Understandably, I was very angry at this office for misdiagnosing my dog for over 6 months, the cost of the treatment plans that weren't helping, and then the inevitable cost of the repair which is nearly $10,000. I asked to speak with the owner to discuss my issues with how we were cared for, a Dr. Zavarro. When I spoke with him, he steamrolled me. He did not give me an opportunity to speak and completely disregarded what I was saying in favor of the "medical record" in front of him. He even accused me of not being compliant with the treatment plans and the follow-ups as the rationale for why my dog has suffered. After talking over me and informing me that he would not be helping me, he hung up on me. I understand that this is a stressful job. I understand that COVID-19 has impacted how the office functions. However, what is not understandable is how so many people failed us and refuse to take responsibility for their lack of care. Who's to say they even checked her appropriately?? I wasn't allowed in the office to see them look at her or touch her. It is not understandable is being blamed and called a liar to my face by a callous man who clearly is involved in this business for monetary gains and not because he has compassion for animals or their owners. I would encourage you to take your beloved pets elsewhere, before you end up in a situation like mine.
