    Granite Transformation Of Nashville
It went extremely well. The workers were professionals who obviously knew what they were doing and were very responsive to us and our concerns. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to any of my friends.

I had spent 11 months planning exactly what I wanted to do in the house, I like to take my time to make sure I get it right the first time and not regret my decisions and this hopefully being our last home having had to move every few years, made the decision process that much longer. In came Sheila and Chaz to do a walk through and see what I wanted to do. I had a long list and they listened, never made me feel that I had to rush through it all, they took their time and gave me so many alternative options for consideration and talked me through the pro's and cons regarding my ideas. We booked some time on that visit for Chaz to come back and start the list, I just had to decide between now and the appointment day which option I was going for....... they would do whatever I chose. I chose their option and I am so glad I did. Chaz has just left our home after spending 3 days with us working on our list and I could not be more thrilled with the work he has done. We have gotten so used to him being here that were missing him already. Chaz and Sheila are a wonderful couple, full of great ideas, hard working, punctual and as honest as the day is long. I had to pop out a couple of times for supplies and left Chaz in charge of the labradors, both of which loved him due to the bag of carrots they knew he brought with him for treats. I have never left anyone in my home alone before, but Chaz is as trustworthy as they come. Very rarely do you meet people that leave a positive lasting impression and are so genuine, but that is Chaz and Sheila. Whatever I need doing in the future, I will be calling them first and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for a job well done and to exceptional standards and for making such a difference to our home.

    Stone World TN Inc
For counter tops I went to a local granite stone place and it is called Stone World. I am extremely happy. It has a coating on it so for 15 years I don't have to worry about stains and all that stuff that you have to deal with ceramics which is why I didn't go with ceramic. That job went very well. Overall I would grade them definitely an 'A'. I would grade them 'A' on everything on the grading scale, absolutely.

Went and picked out piece with the help of Alicia (she actually found the perfect piece for us).  We only needed a small slab.  She marked up the area where it would be cut.  Installation went great and the back splash was cut so the veins flowed from the slab up to the back splash.  We love the look.  We got a clear vessel sink so it doesn't obstruct the view of the granite.  The granite usually comes with a free under mount white sink but would suggest using a clear vessel sink.  If your going to spend the money on granite you might as well not cut a large hole in it.  They drilled out the small holes for the faucet and sink.
Even though we had picked out the slab and had it marked up it was a long time before they came for actual installation (several weeks).  We used an exotic granite so yes it was expensive but well worth it.  A very unique look.
We used them because that is who Lowes uses.

I got a variety of estimates to install new kitchen counters, weighing the differences between granite and quartz. I called Lowes to schedule an appointment and was in to see Tina that same afternoon. Tina was very helpful and knowledgeable. She said to bring in the measurements as well as a cabinet door or drawer for visual comparison to help select the right color. We went over the types that were currently on sale as well as others of interest. Tina answered all my questions about the sealing process and differences between quartz and granite. She ran numbers for the type we liked that was on sale, as well as some others we were interested in that were in different price groups so we could see the overall difference. She also itemized the other details that we may or may not expect to see in the final invoice. Price was extremely comparable, although we ended up going with a different local company. I would not have had any concerns if we had gone with Lowes.

    Celtic Marble & Granite
Celtic provided several contacts for granite distributors. After picking favorites for the material at the warehouses, Rachelle sent us back the price per sq ft for each slab. We revisited the distributor on a Friday and decided on the slab. Michael came on the following Monday to make the template himself and help talk through any extensions in size that would make the area more usable yet ensure there was enough clearance to the side. Celtic worked directly with the distributor to retrieve the material, section, polish, etc. for installation on Friday of that same week. We were provided our choice of 50/50, 60/40, 40/60, or full single bowl stainless steel sink. Although they offered disconnection and take-away of the current countertops for an additional charge, we were able to do this ourselves and save a little money. The guys who showed up for installation were prompt and very polite and professional. Installation was quick. I was given the invoice w/ remaining balance and told to take away $150 because they decided the internal steel corbells were not necessary (although they would not have been sure until the time of installation). They did not offer reconnection of plumbing, so we ended up buying a new disposal and reconnecting everything ourselves.
The only bump was that we did have a miscommunication in choosing the layout of the cut. The slab we chose had a lot of variability and movement, and we were drawn to a certain part that we wanted to make sure was used as much as possible. So although we asked to see the proposed layout before it was cut, we were instead sent a picture for approval of the pieces after they were cut. Rachelle and Michael were very apologetic of the miscommunication and offered to prepare a lazy susan or cutting board using a remnant of the piece we liked so much for no added charge.
The countertops look beautiful, and we are very happy with the end result.

    Smokey Mountain Tops
Smokey Mountains was excellent. Well, we went up there and picked it out and everything was fine. They installed it in a timely manner when you needed them to and we had no problems with them. It was just a good all around experience. The finished countertops was great.

    Parker Granite, LLC
The whole process was awesome. Gary Parker is a great guy! Very friendly and easy to talk to. We were very new to the whole process and he had no problem informing us on anything we asked about. Told him we had planned to move in the not so distance future and he helped us narrow down the vast choices to something buyer friendly. Installation was painless and definitely transformed our kitchen from something we dreaded to now love and enjoy! In fact, we recently bought a new house and can't wait to get Mr. Parker back out to upgrade our new kitchen and possibly bath!!!

    Stone World TN Inc
We contracted the work through Lowe's Hardware of Franklin, Tennessee. The design center coordinated the picking of a new deeper sink and our desired faucet. Stone World arrived promptly, measured accurately and completed their tasks with excellence. Installer explained proper maintenance and cleaning for our new granite tops.
Once installed we had to contract a plumber to re-connect undersink pipes and garbage disposial unit. This is standard for counter top replacements. The installer will turn off water, and disconnect pipes, but does not reconnect them. We scheduled our plumber to do this work.
    The counter top is beautiful.
Do contract with this company independently or through Lowe's if you want quality material and installation
Do contract with this company if you wish the job done right the first time.
Be careful to understand the differences in stone thickness before you order. Also beware that because stone is a product of nature the counter top will not look exactly like the sample at the store. But with Stone World it will be in the ball park. This is why seeing the stone before it is cut is important.
    Estimates were very competitive.

    Eddies Kustom Floors
Eddie was able to work when others were not. I was having old bathroom vanities removed and new vanities installed. In between these jobs, Eddie was able to get my old floor removed and the new tile installed, plus he hauled away the old flooring and an old toilet and installed a new toilet. All this happened with a minimum of down time for the bathroom. I was very pleased. The new floor looks great.
