AIt is a pleasure to deal with someone who really cares about their craft, the quality of their work, and customer service. That is a rare thing these days. I can't even tell where the damage was on my car, and it was returned to me spotless--like getting a new car! We are very lucky to have such a good repair shop right in our small town.

AI initially only needed to have repairs completed on the right rear bumper of my vehicle after being hit from behind while stopped. It looked like minor damage and my car was drivable but more damage was done than what could be seen. While I was determining where I was going to take vehicle for repairs, I was driving down interstate and a large box fell from a truck in front of me and I attempted to avoid it, but hit it and cause minor cosmetic damage to the front right bumper, plus right fender and passenger door. Now, with two claims and both will be with StateFarm, but one claim on the other driver’s policy and the other falling under my comprehensive coverage made this a confusing job for anyone. Steven at Whaley’s made this super easy and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He took the time to listen to my concerns and helped me with all my questions. He kept me informed and then when I discovered that the estimates were uploaded to the wrong claim numbers, per the direction of StateFarm, he worked quickly to get that resolved, even though it was not any fault of his. They did end up having my vehicle an extra week because the parts for the right side exhaust replacement wasn’t right, due to the way the site used to order parts had the exhaust diagramed out in pieces instead of one whole piece. Steven quickly got the correct part ordered, which due to it being an Audi part, took longer and I expected that. VW has a very unique paint process and it can make it very difficult to match, but this body shop did an awesome job. Overall, I can only speak very highly of the service and workmanship, plus the professionalism of all the staff at Whaley’s. I won’t hesitate to use them again if I need this type of work. I have uploaded before and after pictures so you can see for yourself their work.

AMy Lexus needed the timing belt replaced. ISS did a complementary check of the car and found a leak in the rear valve cover gasket. During this time my Toyota Tacoma was having trouble starting. I took this also to ISS and they inspected it and replaced the starter motor and relay. I returned after completion of the truck with the Lexus. They completed the timing belt replacement, water pump replacement (usually done with the timing belt), drive belt replacements, valve cover gasket replacement, and oil change. Their bill listed the work done in more detail along with costs for parts and labor. The cost for the Lexus was $1480 and $520 for the Tacoma. I was impressed with the way ISS runs their business. They communicated honestly with what is needed as well as the cost. They seemed to give a true analysis of the vehicle. The cost was comparable to another quote I had received. I spoke to another customer while waiting in the lobby. He had been using ISS for a number of years with different vehicles. He spoke very highly of ISS. I was very satisfied with the work of ISS on this first visit.

FWOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN. Our Tundra truck was damaged during the ice storm that we experience in February, the truck was on an ice sheet and slid across a parking lot and ran into a concrete pole. This damaged the front of the vehicle, while driveable it look horrible. We contacted our insurance company to have the repairs done and they insisted that we use Service King - and I should have know that this was going to be an issued right off the bat when the insisted that we go there. They gave me the Mallory Lane address and phone number, then said to call for an appointment So I called the office that they wanted me to go to and the girl that answered the phone was rude and insisted that there was not a file on record for us and that until I have that there was nothing that they could do. So I called back to our insurance and they said that yes this was on file and confirmed it. So I called back to the Mallory lane office, and the same rude girl said that they did not have an record and said that "you called the wrong office and transferred me to the office at Mallory Station". The person that answer the phone there said that they had no record as well and transferred me to the National Customer Service Center, where by now I was total frustrated and the lady said that yes that they did have the file and yes I was scheduled at the Mallory Lane office, and she made an appointment for me to see a service advisor at the Mallory Lane office. When I walked in I am greeted by the rude girl from earlier - needless to say she had multi colored hair and looked like she had just rolled out of bed - gave her my company name and my name and again she insisted that we had no file - but the service advisor, a neatly dressed guy at another desk said yes they did and he had everything that he needed to complete an estimate. He wrote up the estimate, and wrote a separate side order for another repair I that I was going to have accomplished outside of the insurance repair. I scheduled a time to return the vehicle for repair ? to be completed during the week that I was out on my vacation, as they assured me that the truck would be completed during that time. I showed up to drop off the vehicle, which I was expecting a 5 minute process since I have completed all of the preliminary work and scheduled the drop off. Again the rude girl at the front desk could not find my file in their systems and she and some women who was slouched over another desk scream back and forth at each other and finally found the file ? the estimator that I had seen earlier was not there, even though I asked for him. Then the second women got onto a personal call, and the rude girl could not finish off whatever she was doing in her system until the second had to do something else and we had to wait for her to finish up on her personal phone call. Finally after almost 30 minutes of waiting they finally got my keys and I was out the door. I went on my vacation and came back ? a week later - I waited until Tuesday to call to go pick up my vehicle ? and was told it was not ready that there were delays with parts and additional work that they had to wait for the insurance company to approve, but that it would be ready by Wednesday. Nope, not ready on Wednesday, with no phone call, I had to call them. Well Thursday I was busy and forgot about the truck, so I emailed the manager after hours, with hopes I would get a response the first thing the next morning. I got a response that morning that the estimator had tried to text me. Remind you know this clearly marked all over my account ? this is a BUSINESS and that the phone numbers are for a BUSINESS. Okay ding d***, business lines do not get text messages ? and they had my email address on file. When I call I reached the manager and told him and the response was she tried to reach you ? I asked him does he get text messages to his office phone ? all he could was be silent. So the truck is ready, when I arrive again I am met with rude girl who now has dyed her hair multiple colors, tell her who I am and what I am there for. She shuffles through a bunch of papers on her desk and sticks a piece of paper in front of me and tells me to sign, even before I see the repairs ? I refused. She grabs a file, walks into an office and hands this off to two guys who begin to argue over who should go get the truck and bring it around for inspection. Finally the manager goes and gets the truck, drives it around and I start noticing that there is a larger gap in the side panel on the left versus the right and he proceed to argue with me and says it is within acceptable range, so I pop the hood as the headlight assembly was not affixed properly and was missing a connector bolt at the top. Guess what ? the second work order that I asked them to do that I was paying for ? they did not even do that. I was so upset that I just said screw it ? it is a work truck ? I walked back in and scribbled on the document and snatched my keys and walked out. I drove straight to the Toyota dealership less than a mile down the road and had the second repair accomplished that afternoon as well they replaced the bolt on headlamp assembly for free. I would NEVER NEVER take another auto to this place, and I would highly recommend others to seek another body shop as well, as these guys are horrible!

AJohnson's Collision CenterMy car was hit in passenger door. In addition, the repair bumper had been previously damaged. Jeff repaired both items. He actually came in lower than he estimated because he was able to find an used door that was cheaper than the cost of repairing the existing door. He also repaired some other small bumps and bruises that were nearby. Then he painted the repairs. The paint job was great in that it blended in with the existing paint where you could not tell that it had been painted. He got be in and out very quick. I had checked with a few other places and Jeff's price was cheaper. In addition, he got me in and out a week before the others were going to get me in.- Myron K.

AJohnson's Collision CenterMy husband and I dropped the car in the morning but Johnson was out that time. He gave me the quote the same day and honored the 5% Angies list discount on the phone. I was concerned with possibility of increased price in the future when received the quote but Johnson ensured me that it won't happen and angies list reviews assured it too. I signed the work agreement and got my car back a few days later with the price he promised. The car was even better than prior to accident, as he fixed my front bumper for free. Very happy with the service.- Qingxia C.

AJohnson's Collision CenterI was hit by an uninsured driver. The other driver agreed to pay the cost of my repair but wanted me to use his body shop. Since I had previously used Johnson's Collision Center and was very happy with the results, I insisted that they be used even if it meant I would have to go through my insurance company and have some out of pocket expenses. We were able to come to agreement to use Johnson's. It was just before Thanksgiving and Jeff was able to get me in quickly and out quickly. He even was able to get my car back a day earlier than the date he promised. Again, Jeff did some minor repairs to some areas that he was going to be painting anyway. In addition, my trunk remote was not working. The problem was the mechanism on the trunk. Jeff quoted me a price and repaired it. It turned out that the repair was a little more involved but Jeff only charged me what he quoted.- Myron K.

APlan B AutobodyI did not have high hopes that our Altima would be repaired to its original condition after our nanny backed into another vehicle right outside our driveway. Years ago I used another collision center in the area and was not pleased at all with the results. I was thrilled with the results. Everything was fixed and it was fully restored. It looked better than before the collision. They also went the extra mile and returned it to us clean. It is worth the drive from Hendersonville for sure. I hope I don't have to get my car's exterior repaired again, but if I do, I would definitely make Plan B my Plan A.- Rachel S.
