  • Waiting room is small and crowded. Front office staff is friendly but not very customer service oriented on the phone. They did not call back within one hour like the message says, I was hung up on (I am sure by accident). Dr Harmon answered all my questions and even gave me tips on how to slow down the growth of my cataracts. He also told me that due to my hypertension that I should (not that I must, but should) have additional tests and gave me reasons why. I will use Dr Harmon for my next annual exam.

  • Eye exam went well. I have insurance and they pay up to 130 for frames. I got progressive/transition senses (insurance only pays the amount for the regular bifocals), and even with insurance I had to pay 155 and change for the glasses. There are other places that have glasses for much less. I wanted a pair of single lense sunglasses but ended up getting those elsewhere. I would use Dr Harmon again for exam and if I were getting a new type of glasses I would use them. Next year my insurance will not pay for frames, so I might get those somewhere else and let Dr Harmon's office send them off.

  • My initial visit was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Louis Hyde and his staff did a very thorough eye exam and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I also purchased both a set of new prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. They were perfect at the first visit which is unusual for me. Friendly staff all around. Professional and use the state of the art methods.
  • I had no problem with the exam, except that they had a person out and they were really behind, not a big problem. However, after ten days, I had to call about the glasses. Ordered and paid for transitions, did not get transitions. Had to wait another week to get the transitions. Overall the medical part was fine, the administrative part left a lot to be desired. One person out of the office should not throw the whole system out of wack. The appointment was on 28 Apr 09 and the correct glasses were received on 14 May 09.

  • Cherie Archambeault is friendly and it is easy to get an appointment with her. She has a nice and clean office. 'A's across the board. I would recommend her and use her again in the future.
