    Stephen King that came to our home first was awesome!! He was very easy to work with and had great customer service skills! The 2 men that came out to our house to work in the crawl space were very friendly, they were a little sloppy with the paint/sealant stuff that went on the beams and had to come back for a couple of spots they missed when cleaning mold off baseboards. But, when I told Stephen about the missed spots and over-spray paint, they quickly responded and came back and fixed it. I would use them again, and their warranty is better than anyone's!!!

    Breathe Easy Mold Remediation
    The true mark of an honest and reliable businessman is to tell you that you DON'T need his services!  Victor and Tim conducted a very thorough inspection of our home, high and low.  They could smell the odor that had bothered us, but could not detect any mold or evidence of mold.  After further questioning, they decided to inspect our attic.  They not only found the source of our problem, but told us what was needed to fix it.  We now know how to proceed, and above all, we have the peace of mind that comes with knowing we don't have a mold problem.  I would highly recommend Breathe Easy to ANYONE.

    My experience with Indoor Air Quality Specialists, Inc. (IAQS) went  smoothly from initial contact to final step of installation.  Michael, the owner, called soon after I purchased the big deal to set up a date to perform onsite inspection and review of what I wanted done.  After the initial estimator's visit I had a couple of questions that needed further discussion.  Again Mike called, and this time returned with the estimator to do another onsite inspection.  At the conclusion of this visit I had a detailed, signed contract and an install date for Friday, only four days out.
      Mike and I agreed to delay the start date until Monday because of threatening severe weather.  On Monday Michael called to let me know they would be a bit late since they stopped to buy some supplies enroute.  Then he apologized for being late, even though he had called in advance and only missed the start time by less than 30 minutes. I said "no problem".
    The installation went well, and at the finish he called me to the attic to inspect the results.  I saw a couple spots that I thought might need a bit more insulation.  The depth was measured and the instruction to "hook it back up" was immediately given to add some more depth.  At the conclusion I was happy with the results.  Michael scheduled the attic fan installation for  a later day because there was still some threat of rain.  They returned at the appointed time and installed the fan without a hitch, exactly where I said I wanted it installed.
      I was very happy with IAQS and with the performance of all the crew members.  I would certainly recommend them to others for the type work I had done.  Customer satisfaction is obviously high on their list of objectives.

    I contacted Rick 5 days ago, and he was able to make an appointment immediately.  Did not have to wait long for a call back.  He drove approx 120 miles from Asheville to perform his service on my home in Maryville, TN.   He called the day before to confirm the appointment and time, and he showed up on time. We spent 7.5 hours crawling all over the house, first with an outside house inspection, a couple hours in the crawl spaces (a quick break for lunch), inspected all of the HVAC components (furnaces, returns, supply lines).  I have three different units, so this took some time.  During the whole process I was at his side taking notes, and he took a bunch of pictures (over 80).  I am now going to type up my notes and arrange for a call with Rick to discuss how to prioritize the list.   The list is long, and it will take me some time to complete.  However, most all of the items are tasks that any homeowner can perform.   While he pointed out a number of problem areas, I at least now understand how I can greatly improve the efficiency, health and comfort of my home.  Since Rick does not sell a specific service such as insulation or HVAC products, he is able to give me unbiased recommendations on how to make my home better.  I definitely recommend his services.

    Called them... Friday evening..... very quick response. Used plenty of equipment to dry... sprayed to prevent mold and mildew.... painted/sealed block wall where moisture was penetrating from outside moisture.  Excellent communications and job.  Very satisfied!

    Rick did a great job. He was on time, very professional, yet friendly and easy to work with. He was very thorough and checked the house over from top to bottom and inside and out. He gave me tips on how to prevent loss of heat by insulating the attic heavier, caulking all doors, and other areas that could leak heat or allow rodents or water to enter. Since I am a widow, he mentioned what he thought I could do myself and what I would probably need help to accomplish. He said I need gutters on the back side of the house where I just had a gable roof built over the sun room and screened-in porch. I explained I had just had an estimate the day before and would be getting that done asap. He gave me suggestions for diverting water from around the house to include putting in solid drain hoses rather than perforated ones.He checked the intake screens for the furnace and AC and showed me how to clean them and caulk them to prevent loss of heat or cooling. Rick also explained that sealing/caulking off the insides of the intake and return air ducts would also keep moisture and rodents from getting into the walls. He even closed the flu in the fireplace for me which I had not thought to do. Since we've been having humid weather, it adds to the problem.The repairs mostly add up to a lot of little things which contribute to the humidity and/or loss of heat. He gave me a portable humidity monitor so I can check the different areas of the house which had about 65% humidity during the inspection. He suggested I might need a de-humidifier to use in the studio which appears to be the worst area.I was completely happy with his work and felt he had a very fair price for the 5 hours he was here, after driving over from NC. He explained if I have any questions about what he said or how to do it, to feel free to call him and he would explain it or elaborate on what he had told me. He took pictures throughout the inspection of the areas so he could refer back to them in the event I need to call him. I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to any one who wanted a thorough inspection and a healthier house.
