    Northshore Urgent Care
    Not only is this clinic so warm and inviting when you walk in the door, but the staff are absolutely incredible! They are so kind and eager to help. Dr. McFarlane is wonderful, and it's very clear she got into the medical field to help people. I am suffering from broken bones that have not healed correctly, and the therapy they offer has helped me immensely with my pain. I cannot recommend this clinic and wonderful staff enough!

    The wellness check up is very thorough. They have a very efficient operation and are very responsive to on line requests through their patient portal. That portal makes it very easy to access medical records and correspond with the office. I have spent 47 years in tertiary care medicine so I am rather discriminating regarding health care providers.

    I had a scheduled inducement. The nurse to patient ratio was 1:1. I had excellent care by all my nurses and the OB/gyn. They communicated with me and successfully delivered a healthy baby. Hospitals are for providing healthcare and that's exactly what they did!

    Let me say I used to never go to the doctor for some 20 years or so because of my prior visits taking hours of waiting to be seen the waiting room for a brief 15 minute visit after a 2 hour wait (what was the purpose of making an appointment). When I reached my 50's I decided to give it another try since it is recommended when you get older. Since I have gone in for various things and they are very prompt. I had a physical and was out in less than 1 1/2 hours. Regular visits are usually  around 30 minutes or less. I have since been diagnosed with diabetes and have to go regularly every quarter and NEVER dread going. If my doctor is not in when I need to go they even offer for someone else to see me.

    I waited less than a hour at the walk in clinic before being seen by the doctor. After explaining my symptoms and a quick examination, he ordered x-rays. The x-ray tech was very open as well and told me immediately that I had actually broken my leg. Both the doctor and the tech were very helpful and informative. The office staff was also very kind by helping me find an orthopedic clinic that was actually covered by my insurance (not many appeared to be covered). I appreciate all of the help from the consult, x-rays and referral. They made it as easy as possible.

    have dealt with these folks for a while and have had a great experience with them. They are very kind and proffessional. They always get your prescription ready quickly and at a good price. They also remember your name and say hello when you come in.

    They are the most affordable, and pay when something happens. We have a really high deductible, but they pay 100% after we meet it. We haven't had any problems with them paying for anything that's covered.

    BCBS of TN has been a great insurance company for our family. They provide competitive rates and plans that work for our budget and for our healthcare needs. Overall, they are very on top of things. The billing has been correct up to now. The service statements are sometimes difficult to read but their customer service team is always willing to help explain those statements in further detail. The list of preferred providers is extensive and we are always able to find a preferred provider who works for our needs.

    We arrived on time, had the free valet park the car, and were given a device that vibrated and lit up when we were needed at the desk. We were called into the pre-op room within 15 minutes. During the next hour, nurses and the surgeon came in to perform the pre-op procedures. They all explained what they were doing and what would happen next, answered any questions we had. They wheeled my husband out for surgery 6 minutes after the scheduled time and I went out to the waiting area. A large, flat screen was in the waiting room which showed, using codes for the patient and surgeon, where the patient was: ex. "pre-op," "surgery," "recovery." My device alerted me, I went to the desk and was told they had begun surgery. Later, my device alerted me and the person at the desk told me the surgery was finished, took me back to a consult room and the surgeon came and talked to me about how it went. I returned to the waiting room until the device alerted me that they were taking my husband up to his room. I was given the room number and went up there.        During the next 24 hours that my husband was in the hospital, clinical staff was in his room every hour. Everything done was explained to him. Staff were friendly and had time to talk with him and me. We were both treated with respect and friendliness. All staff washed hands before leaving and used hand sanitizer entering and leaving.       The surgeon told us at his 7:05 morning visit the day after surgery that he was releasing my husband after his afternoon therapy class. After the class, I told the nurses' station that we were leaving and needed to see the discharge nurse. They paged her and she came with the paperwork within 10 minutes. I had the free valet get the car, which I drove around to the discharge door.
