    Seiber Restoration, LLC
Any contractor, even an average one, can successfully complete an easy job but ours would not be easy. The work had to be done in an especially cramped crawl space and one that had considerable water in it due to unusually heavy rain during the work cycle. Moreover, low-hanging ductwork made the already tight space impassible in certain places. The three-member team who did the job did an amazing job of replacing the original cinder block supports, many of which had cracked and which no longer supported the house, with 18 new concrete footings to which a bomb-proof support system was welded into place. We believe Seibert deserves a top rating a) because of the quality of their work, b) their reliability in keeping us informed as the job progressed and c) for their cost-effective bid and d) for their integrity. For example, Seibers site foreman, Eric, was not only extremely knowledgeable but was very patient in explaining the process and what its limitations were. This allowed us to intelligently balance some trade-offs like how aggressive we should be in jacking up the sloping floors, because doing so can cause more damage than it fixes. Realigning sagging floors, we discovered, is much more of an art than a science, and it was an immense pleasure to work with a guy who was so completely in command of his craft. The other two team members, Clay and Cody, who are also highly experienced, had every reason to complain about the unexpectedly bad working conditions but they just went about their job like true professionals. Finally, integrity. At one point in the job an honest disagreement arose about one aspect of the job. We had, we believed, been given certain expectations but nothing on this issue was made a part of the contract. Seibert would have been completely within their legal rights to refuse to do anything to address this problem. They didnt do this. Instead, they were willing to reach a workable compromise even though that meant the company had to send out additional equipment and extend the completion time for the job. Im sure it didnt make management very happy but Seibert is a company that, within reason, will do what it needs to do to have a satisfied customer. These are people who are obviously building a company for the long term and who have the wisdom to understand that their reputation is the most important and valuable asset they will ever have. Our rental house deserved to be saved and Siebert was the only company that could do it. They fulfilled every promise they made to us. We are such totally satisfied customers that we would recommend them without any reservation.

    Foothills Asphalt & Concrete
Foothills was very responsive in all of our communications. They provided precise times when they would be at our home and was always there when they said. The actual work took one day for setup and one day for pouring the concrete. On the day they layed out the sidewalk they decided that an extra step was needed and they added it in with no extra charge. We tried several other concrete companies and they were either completely unresponsive or overly priced. I could not be happier with our service, and if we ever need any more concrete work done I will not hesitate to give them a call.

    East Tennessee Concrete Color Coatings
Since the job was just done it is impossible to tell how this will wear. They were very neat and covered all surfaces before spraying so that nearby surfaces were not impacted. The finish we chose was a slate base with concrete colored splotches, then scored by tape to look like large tile. They worked very long and hard. The surface is textured and not slippery at all which was important to us since we are older. The only two problems were that they disposed of some kind of chemical in our garbage container. I scraped it out but after several days the odor still lingered and the can may be ruined. The other problem was that I believed the color I had chosen was darker than what they applied. It was my word against the owner so there was really nothing I could do. I would suggest that you take a good picture of the sample you choose so that you are not disappointed with the end product.

    Foothills Asphalt & Concrete
Contacted Bob, explained what I needed done, he came out the very next day to look at the job and offered a more cost effective solution that would provide the same results and save me money. He was professional and honest about the job at hand and the finished product was every bit as good as Bob claimed. The job was started and completed on a Sat. as promised, the gentleman who came out to do the work (Anthony) was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommmend Foothills Asphalt & Concrete.

    Foothills Asphalt & Concrete
It went great! When the job was scheduled, we were given an approximate date based upon the work that they had scheduled before me. The projected date proved to be the exact date that they came to begin the work. The first morning, they arrived exactly at the time they said they would and they immediately went to work preparing the space for the paving. The first day they did all the preparation, including breaking up the old patio section, removing the top soil and putting rock in as a base for the parking pad. they had it framed in and ready to pour well before the end of the day. The next day had rain, so they were not able to pour and finish the concrete until a day later. The finish job was excellent, and before they left, they cleaned up all of their mess, leaving us with a perfect new driveway and patio extension. Bob McCall is the owner and he returned my calls promptly every time I needed him. He kept me informed through the entire process. There is no question in my mind that I would use Foothills Asphalt and Concrete again, if i have a need for their specialty. I also do not hesitate to recommend them to any one needing concrete work. They are efficient, courteous, prompt, and skilled in their tasks.

    East Tennessee Concrete Color Coatings
Jim, the owner of the company was very prompt and professional. My concrete driveway is several years old and always looked dirty. Jim and his crew fixed some cracks in my driveway and then coated it so the colors matched the house. Its very easy to clean and looks great. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a concrete driveway.

    The Premier Handyman
Corey answered his phone right away and set a time to come out and give me a quote on the work I needed. He showed up when he said he would and his quote was fare. The work was scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. He and his helper arrived at the time scheduled for the work. Corey stayed later than expected to make sure the job was completed correctly and came back out one evening to remove the frame. I would definately use Corey for other projects.

    Foothills Asphalt & Concrete
I called Foothills Asphalt and Concrete to put down some gravel on a rutted driveway at a rental house. They showed up when they said they would, put down the proper amount of gravel and cleaned up after themselves.
I've used Bob and his team on three or four jobs over the past few years - everything from tearing out and replacing sidewalks, adding parking pads to a driveway, pouring slabs and now gravel work.  Bob is first class in everything he does from the quotation to completion.  HIs pricing is fair, his team works fast and are among the neatest contractors I've ever experienced.  Most importantly, Bob has a deep desire to make sure you are satisfied with the job.
I highly recommend Bob and his team at Foothills Asphalt and Paving and plan to use them again in just a few weeks on another project at my home.

    Baker Concrete
I had three contractors out to give estimates for the job and chose this contractor because he had a 10% coupon on Angies List, which would have made his quote the lowest of them.  However, when he came to start the work, he told me that the price he had quoted had included this 10% discount.  Consequently, I paid more for his work than another local contractor. In addition, he began before I was there and had to dig out my lawn in a second area to put the driveway where I wanted it located. Luckily I had asked to keep the dirt, so I had something to fill in the dug up area with.
His work is excellent and all of his employees were hard-working and polite.  I did have to pay extra for the drainage tube under the driveway extension, which was not included in his original estimate.  He did come to my house to look at where the driveway was to be put, so not sure why he didn't notice the large drainage ditch at the road that would need to be taken care of.
When he was done, I saw that he had not put the ordinary flares at the end of the driveway where it met the road, so I called and told him that he needed to return to put them on.  He wanted extra money for this but I told him I would split the cost with him and only pay him half of his quoted amount.  He agreed to this.  It took him another month before he returned and after discussing it with his employee, he did the work to put the flare onto the driveway connection.
I'd like to make sure that if you are dealing with this company, that you get the pricing from him with all discounts included and specified before hiring them.  They are very good about returning calls and keeping in contact once you do hire them.
