AWESOME!!!! We have a LOT of choices in Knox and Blount (I live in Blount county) and Dr Kelly is The Number one chiropractor around!!! We are truly blessed to have him here.
I walk in crippled up and in pain and walk out straight as rain and feeling like a spring chicken again!
He is seriously The BEST!! I highly recommend him to every one.

Our respect for Dr Steffensmeier further increased when we learned he served our country himself as a U.S. Marine. As a professional, he clearly places the health of his clients over anything else, with the exception of his family. Unfortunately, we recently learned that he was asked to leave the practice. My husband and I consider this to be a major loss for this office. We have to question why this occurred. We have heard that Dr Steffensmeier will open his own practice soon. I suggest anyone interested in genuine care go see Dr Steffensmeier wherever he chooses to practice. I know we will!

    Pain Consultants Of East TN
After my referral, I had the initial appointment with a nurse. Then I was sent for an unnecessary set of X-rays (the group already had all pertinent X-rays and MRIs, including the ones taken at Mayo Clinic, Rochester). Then about a month later, I had the first available appointment with one of their psychologists (I have a standing Monday appointment with a well-respected psychologist for nearly a year, but apparently, a psychologist who is familiar with me isn't good enough, and hey, this clinic wants to make money off you, so yes, let's duplicate our efforts and allow for more errors). The psychologist told me 3 different times they could provide psychological help, and I answered 3 times with who I am currently seeing to refresh her weak memory. I was then scheduled for an appointment with obnoxiously egocentric Dr. James J. Choo. A doctor like this one is one reason I don't have a lot of trust in any new doctor I see. This doctor apparently chose to ignore my medical records, and my doctor's request, (I know this must be true because he wasn't aware I had already had a nerve conduction test at Mayo, the nurse had to tell him, nor was he aware I had had my SED rate monitored for a number of years, nurse had to tell him, and he didn't seem to be familiar with my MRIs or diagnoses provided by a highly recommended and respected spinal specialist, neurosurgeon, Mayo Clinic, or KOC or TOC --Dr. Choo decided to diagnose me as having Fibromyalgia, which Mayo proved I did not. Dr. Choo did not choose to reveal his basis for that unsolicited diagnosis. He expressed his displeasure at my inability to take Cymbalta and another medication and said he could only offer me physical or occupational therapy (and, of course, I've already had way more than my fair share of BOTH). I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. He did not allow my input, he never allowed me to ask a question, he never physically examined me, NOR, APPARENTLY, MY RECORDS; and it was my understanding no one had asked him to diagnose ANYTHING except what pain medications would be more effective for me.
HATE THE GROUP!!! HATE THE DOCS!!!HATE THE PSYCHOLOGISTS THERE!!!

Tina is a skilled massage therapist, with excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She asks about medical history so she will know what type of massage a patient can tolerate. I alway leave my session feeling more relaxed and in less pain. I highly recommend her.

    Johns, Dr. Brent A.
After the exam, Dr. Johns adjusted my neck and upper back with typical chiropractic thrusts, and provided electrical stimulation to my shoulders. He recommended an ice pack for my shoulder to reduce swelling, which I applied that evening. This therapy was repeated twice weekly for the first month, during which time the pain gradually subsided. After the first month, my therapy was reduced to once weekly, and after two months I am pain free and the numbness is almost completely gone. I am now seeing Dr. Johns once every two weeks for follow-ups. The staff is very friendly and efficient, and very flexible with appointment times. Rates are in line with what most chiropractors charge. While there were a few instances where I had to wait a while, generally wait times were under ten minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Johns!

Father and son office. Dr. Barry the father I cannot recommend. I was there for fatigue and told him I was allergic to citrus acid and 10 minutes later he sells me a cream that is suppose to help me and it contained citrus acid. I did not read the ingredients for I expect after you tell a Dr. about allergies that he isn't going to sell you something full of it. He then would not give my money back for his mistake.

Waiting 30+ minutes for your appt. is about average. The staff are less than friendly like they are doing you a favor by being there. They both are highly trained in homeopathic meds and have helped many people but they have their limits. The father I will not recommend under any circumstances. It is time for him to be put out to pasture.

Brian the son is very good at most of what he does but my last visit in my back was worse after seeing him than it was before he treated me.

Tina is a very good at massage. She has strong hands and is very knowledgeable in the way to work out pulled muscles. It takes many years of doing this to have the skill level that she has. I highly recommend her to take care of your needs if it is just for relaxation or to work on an injury. She has the training to do several different types of massages I will use her again in the future.

    Johns, Dr. Brent A.
Called to make a special appointment the day before I needed the treatment. Short wait for the the doctor. He performed the adjustment and asked about the reason for the visit (yard work). Adjustment was effective. Scheduled next maintenance appointment and paid my bill on exit. Back to normal the next day.

Dr. Brian is very knowledgeable about his profession.  He not only works on my back and shoulders, but also treats me for digestive problems.  I have been going to Dr. Brian for several years and have found him to be very helpful in treating my lower back pain and in treating various problems including digestive problems and insomnia.  It is really amazing that he can treat so many various problems.  He placed me on a sugar control diet, and I lost approximately 40 pounds.  I feel great physically and mentally.  I would definitely recommend Sunshine Chiropractic Care and Dr. Brian.

    Maryville Orthopaedic Clinic
They did an excellent job with me. I am familiar with them since they were the orthopedic doctors from my high school, when I was going there. There are very personable and easy to get along with. If you have a problem with insurance, they'll be very straight forward with you and tell you pretty much how it is. They'll not try to shade it. If you ask them a question, they give you a straight answer.
