Blue Oasis did several tests on my cat but they ended up referring us to Blue Pearl in Franklin because they felt like she needed an ultrasound. Thanks to the care and efficiency of the staff at both offices, my cat is much improved. I am taking her back to Blue Oasis today for a follow-up.

Dr. Lucas and her staff are fabulous! They are compassionate and caring. They treated my cat like she was one of their own. Dr. Lucas explained her concerns and suggested tests we might run to get a more firm diagnosis. She was very respectful of my concerns for my cat as well as my budget concerns. I recommend her and her hospital to everyone I talk to who might need a vet.

I recently relocated to the area and Blue Oasis was recommended to me by a family member. The ambiance of Blue Oasis is like no other veterinarian office I have ever been to. It is calming, inviting and the staff is so welcoming. My cat and I were immediately greeted and shown to the "Cat" room. A cat specifically set-up for cats, that was impressive. Within moments the doctor came in to examine my cat. A biopsy was necessary and they had an opening that morning, again very impressive. The staff was ensured I knew exactly what they would be doing and gave me a detailed listing of the costs for the procedure, prior to my leaving. In addition, the doctor answered my multitude of questions honestly and with compassion. This entire experience left me at ease, even though I knew that the outcome could be not so good. About two hours after leaving my cat with the staff for the biopsy, they contacted me just to let me know that they had completed the procedure and my cat was resting nicely and gave me a time I could pick her up. When I arrived to pick her up, I found her to be in a spacious cage, on a fluffy blanket, waiting on her mom. The doctor and staff took time to explain exactly what they had done, shared pictures with me of the procedure and instructed me on what to expect in the coming days. I left with detailed instructions being given verbally and written for future reference as to how to care for my cat over the coming days. The office staff even called me the next day to check-up on my cat and ensure everything was still going alright.

It is a walk-in clinic and we walked in at a very busy time. We waited quite a while to be seen. The staff was very friendly and several staff members apologized, at different times, for our wait. Once we were taken back, they took our dog to be weighed and have his blood drawn. The vet came back with the dog and did an examination. Our vet was Dr. Shirley. Even though it was late, he took his time to answer all of my questions. He then recommended heart worm, flea, and tick meds and explained why he was recommending those particular meds. I was pleased with our experience and will definitely return in the future. (Note: the seemingly high cost of the visit is due to the cost of medications for six months-this prescription length was our choice- and other issues. The annual check including the heart worm and internal parasite tests, rabies vaccine and distemper vaccine is bundled for $98)

We have gone multiple times over the last 6 months to this vet.  The clinic is walk-in but the wait times are rarely long.  Everyone has been really great and the prices can't be beat for the service.  We had a tooth extraction procedure for our aging dog.  It was half the cost of another local vet's quote.  We have taken our kitten for all her shots to the same location.  Even though our kitten clawed the vet quite a bit on our first visit, she did not like the fecal test, they have received her back for all other visits since that incident.  We plan to take her to 'get fixed' in a few short weeks.  Can't say enough about how great a and experience it has been.  The waiting room is also a friendly place to hang out.  Pet owners sure are chummy.

Dr. Duvall is deeply committed to your pet's health and well-being, and he is always professional. Your pet/pets will be in the best of care with Cumberland Animal Hospital. It's obvious upon meeting Dr. Duvall, that he cares deeply about the welfare of all animals. Ive been extremely happy with the professionalism and how nice everyone is on his staff. The hospital is always a very clean environment. We have been using Dr. Duvall as our veterinarian for 10 years.

He is very kind and very gentle.  Whenever he walks in the room, he is more interested in having a relationship with the animal, you know, right after that then he is with the person, I mean you can tell that he is very much an animal person, he is just really good.  The price is reasonable.  If you had an emergency, he will take you right in.  He is just a good veterinary and I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

Dr.Amanda Wesson is my cat's doctor. She is wonderful and has a great bedside manner. She has called me when I didn't expect it to see how my cat is doing after a visit. There is another doctor there, Allen Craig, but my cat has never been to him; therefore, I cannot review him.
Dr. Wesson and her staff are so kind and gentle to my cat, who is ALWAYS quite cranky when I take him to the vet's. They know how to handle him! I highly recommend her!

Early one Friday morning as I was heading off to work, there was a young kitten in my car port. I was running late and had to leave the little one behind. It was there when I returned home that evening. I gave it some water and lunch meat and then got on the phone. I called animal control and was referred to an after hours number. I called the number and was told that animal control really only dealt with dogs running loose. However, they gave me a couple of leads. Following the leads, I found most were closed for the weekend. I went to town, got some food and litter and figured I would work on the situation on Monday. I found the kitten was litter box trained and very, very tame. I advertised in the Lebanon Democrat, which ran a Found ad for free for 4 days. No one called. I found the web site for New Leash on Life, filled out a form, and e-mailed it to the link on the form. It was rejected by the server as "no such address". I tried a couple of other combinations and got the same result. Because of work and some personal situations I was unable to pursue the issue for almost 3 weeks. On of those issues was a drive to FL to see a family member going through ill health. Was gone for the week, but the kitten took care of itself and was fine on my return.I called New Lease and found that the e-mail address listed was .org and not .com. I was also told, very nicely, that it was a waiting list and that they were full up and it might be several weeks before I could get an appointment. I thanked them and resent the e-mail.The problem was that the kitten had developed a severe case of flea infestation and nothing I tried worked. I checked Angie's list and found this veterinarian near by. I called about them looking at the kitten and the rest is as reported above.

Brought in our Shih tzu with some skin irritation. Called and they saw us right away and were able to give our little guy a shot for some itch relief as well as some antibiotics to help him heal. We were very pleased and so was our little guy, Dude. Definitely taking him there from now on:)
