Steve has worked with us for the past 2.5 years for various projects, large and small - as a matter a fact, he is the only one I trust with our home repairs. He is trustworthy, knowledgable, has a fair price, METICULOUS, arrives on time and finishes the project with in the proper deadline. Steve is always in constant communication with me as the projects are being completed, and stays within his estimation. My favorite part is that only is he an overall good person, he is also so incredible neat with his work - not only the actual work but his work spaces. Our family was never inconvenienced or frustrated by any home improvement projects. I highly recommend Steve without reservation and look forward to continuing to work with him.

Chaz and Sheila met us at the home we were purchasing to survey what needed to be done.  They responded promptly and were on time at our  first appointment.  They were tied up for the second appointment but called before they were due to let us know.

They spent a spent a large amount of time discussing options, inspecting available services/conditions and making suggestions.  Sheila had many good ideas on how to make the modifications look great and blend in to the existing décor in such a way as to make it appear as if the home was built with those features. Chaz had the expertise to know what was and was not possible or practical.

After extensive discussions Chaz told us that what we wanted was outside his area of expertise but he did know what we needed and how these items might be accomplished. They both had great advice and we are in the process of following their suggestions on how to find the right folks to do the work well at a fair price.

All this work for no charge and we feel we have not only found honest and knowledgeable folks but friends as well.  I have no doubt that if Chaz commits to doing a job it will be done well and at a fair price.  I take recommendations very seriously but am not hesitant to recommend these good folks.

First off the helper were out of town subcontractors, not regular employees.  There was a main guy and his ancient dad.  We thought at the time that the service was okay, but 6 months later we are still finding evidence of the shoddy work they actually did.  At the time we had just moved in and were slammed with a million things going on and didn't pay full attention to everything while they were here.  They installed a towel bar that was 6 inches off level - aka very crooked.  The hand towel bar they installed fell out within a month.  They did build a very sturdy mailbox holder, although it leaves something to be desired aesthetically.  They successfully removed a light fixture and relocated it to another room and we haven't had issues with that, knock on wood.  The gate fix they did works structurally but looks aesthestically horrible and I realize after the fact that we should not have allowed it to be done.  They basically took a wide piece of board and put it diagonally across to provide support but it doesn't match the rest of the gate or deck and sticks out like a sore thumb!  All in all we feel like we totally wasted our money and should have waited more patiently to find a qualified handyman rather than trying to save money by using an Angie's List deal and getting burned!

Mr. Falk is a class act. He returned my calls promptly and completed the work when he promised. He is on task and professional the entire time he was in my home. Everything I needed done was done right. When he left, he had cleaned up after himself and it was as if he was never there.

My wife is terminally ill and both of these men went out of their way to make sure her needs were met. They told me they'd be done by Christmas and, for the most part, they were. Don even got a plumber in here when I couldn't. I would definitely recommend them.

I left a voicemail for Andy on Saturday after 5pm.  He called me back on Sunday and my dishwasher was installed professionally before 3pm the following Monday.  He was prompt, professional and his price was reasonable for the job.  I'd definitely recommend him and will use him again in the future.

They came out and they were prompt. They had to come back out and re-do a number of things. It wasn’t the best and I wouldn’t use them again. Four out of the four sinks they replaced ended up leaking and they had to come back to fix them. The same guy came out both times.

Geary did an excellent job of designing creative solutions for difficult installations.  We needed a dog door in a sidelight window for the French doors leading onto our deck.  It required fitting a thick plexiglass pane in place of the original window and cutting to allow for a dog door that would fit the width of the narrow window.  The result is asthetically pleasing and functional.  Geary cut some left over railing material for a second handrail on our stairs, beveling the ends so that there was no raw edges and did a great job of making the railing fit the style already in place.  Geary also installed a cat door in our laundry room door to prevent the dogs from getting fat from eating cat food and other unmentionable cat by products from the litter pan.  The dogs now enjoy much more "face" time.  Our cat is apparently a beast and required a larger than usual cat door, which Geary cheerfully went shopping for and installed.

Everything went well for me. It took a while between his first visit to give an estimate and when I was ready to have the work done, but he still had records of what we had discussed and was able to do the work.

Sheila and Chaz are priceless gems. In my screened-in patio, I had a door whose screen had become detached. A squirrel decided that my patio would make a great place to visit, and kept coming through the loose screen. Additionally, there was a hole in one of the screens, which I discovered one morning when there were three (!) birds in the patio.
Sheila and Chaz came by (at the time they said they would) and looked at what needed to be done. Chaz also suggested that I let him install a couple of L-brackets on one of the screen doors, as the door was not closing properly (it was a handmade wood door, and not the best quality of construction). Chaz and Sheila also offered to use a piece of 2x4 to cover up a drill hole in one of the patio walls (made by the prior owner of the home), as well as reinforce the screen on the screen door to keep squirrels from getting back in.
They provided me with a list of materials that was clear and precise, so I was able to get in and out of Lowes with exactly what I needed in <5 minutes.
Chaz arrived on time to make the repairs, and was finished in less time than he'd estimated. The work was done perfectly, and I would definitely work with them again. Aside from the fact that the work was done correctly, on time, and under budget, Sheila and Chaz are super nice people.
