Dr. Throckmorton performed the delicate reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder, a technique made necessary because my rotator cuff pretty much disintegrated from more than 50 years of tennis. He performed the procedure flawlessly, and I Have had very little pain since the operation on Oct. 18. I now face weeks of physical therapy to adapt my arm and body to my new, improved shoulder, and I expect to be back on the tennis and pickleball courts before Spring officially arrives next year.

They did a good job. I have been using them since 2005. They are excellent. The staff has been courteous, really efficient and I haven’t had any problems with them. My doctor there, Dr. Holloway is a great doctor. Everything he has done has been great.

Dr Leal performed my upper endoscope. I had originally scheduled a upper endoscope and a colonoscopy but the staff dropped the ball and turned into my insurance as a preventative procedure instead of a diagnostic which it was definitely a diagnostic. Even after I called my insurance and did their work for them they still didn't turn it in right. The nurses were great and very nice. The anesthetist was good and knowledgable. The procedure was very well done but afterwards the care stopped completely. I didn't hear back from the doctor with any results for two weeks. Dr Leals nurse called and told me the doc wanted me to take a steroid dose pack and an antibiotic. Both of which I'm allergic to and was clearly stated in my pre procedure documents. After i asked the nurse why these were prescribed and informed her I was allergic to them both she said she would call me back. She did within a couple minutes to tell me Dr. Leal wanted to know what happens when I wake e drugs prescribed me. As I was answering her the doctor interrupted. He was apparently listening in on the call and told me that I wasn't allergic to those drugs and everyone has that reaction. He then very aggressively told me I needed to go to an allergist because I didn't know what I was allergic to. I was very taken back by his quick to anger tone. He then hung up and a few minutes later I received a call form an allergist making an appointment to which I declined. I have a well documented medical diagnosis to explain my drug allergies. I wish I could take the drugs he prescribed but they make me very ill. He was very unprofessional and his refusal to think a little when confronted with a challenge showed me he is not a good doctor even he did good with the endoscope machine he was rude, aggressive and arrogant. I hate I went through all that for nothing. I highly recommend not using Gastro because of the way they handled my insurance and very much WARN you to not use Doctor Rolando Leal. One more thing. I took them a MONTH to call in an acid reflux med. seriously a month! That's awful service!

I saw Dr. Pickens. I love this clinic. Great physicians, good staff. Some appointments took a while (very few though) but for the most part was as quick as OB/GYN as can be for this profession. Dr. Pickens was there for my whole pregnancy, through every problem that arisen and scares on my part. Dr. Pickens has great beside manner and is gentle natured, and genuine in his concern. Dr. Crenshaw ended up on call when I went into labor, so he didn't get to see me through all of it, but Dr. Crenshaw was fantastic as well. Good delivery with no complications and I had full confidence in both doctors that they would be able to take care of mine and my baby's medical needs. I am now just a GYN patient and Dr. Pickens is still my preference. The office is clean and well decorated. It is comfortable (even with pregnancy hot flashes!) and well lit. The receptionist are kind. All the staff there are good. I have been to both locations and not had any problems. I highly recommend this clinic, and specifically, Dr. Pickens, and Dr. Crenshaw.

First the staff booked me with the wrong doctor, and the wrong time, so they had to work me into the schedule which meant that a regular 45 minute (no joke or exaggeration, this office has always been awful with wait times) wait turned into a 90 minute wait. I signed in under who I was suppose to be seeing, and rather than inform me that I was not seeing that doctor (because they misbooked) that receptionist just crossed the name off and didn't let me know, so I waited to be called, and 30 minutes went by and I was not called up. She didn't inform the other receptionist, nor let me know that I was not seeing that doctor, she just crossed me off the list and let me sit there waiting for nothing.
The receptionists were completely rude and unprofessional. I was in a whole lot of pain and informed them of it... not a whole of compassion or warmth for paying patient that is ailing.
The nurse asked a series of questions (my spouse was in the room listening, never saying a word.) The doctor came in and asked a question that the nurse had marked yes for that I had said NO for, big mistake on the nurse's part as the doctor was ready to diagnose simply by what the nurse wrote down (UTI.) She pushed on my belly, ordered blood tests, x-rays, and CT scan. This was the biggest waste of time and money. As it turned out to be something that any seasoned doctor could have figured out based on my symptoms alone.
Earlier in the same day, my spouse went in for calf pain, he stated this same doctor did not even touch him, wrote his symptoms down and wrote a script for antibiotics and ordered a very expensive ultrasound. It turned out to be a cyst on the knee requiring no antibiotics!
    This office is terrible.

This is an update... Yesterday I received in the mail an EOB for this exact visit. The claim was either never processed when it was suppose to be, or they refiled the claim, either way, this is a huge mistake on their part as the insurance rejected it because they waited past 90 days to file. Talk about incompetent. Plus there are several .01 cent charges that say "misc." next to them. A penny? who bills insurance for a penny? and what in that office costs a penny? very weird. Where I previously marked "B" for billing. It has been changed to an "F." What makes them think they can hold on to a claim for that long and expect to get paid? This whole visit has been one long nightmare. At any rate, avoid this clinic at all costs.

They were both very good. Unfortunately, our medical plan doesn't allow my husband and my son to stay with them, but I can stay because of Medicare. They are very good. They keep up to date on what's going on in medicine, and I can call them up and the nurses would sometimes call me back with an answer, but they get back to me. I like them a lot. They are very, very good. I have not seen too many other doctors in this area. Their staff is friendly, courteous, and efficient. Unfortunately there is always a long wait. They may get you in to the room quickly, but then you're waiting a while. The only complaint I have is sometimes the time waiting. I may wait over an hour and I don't know what's normal, but that seems to be. I have a friend who spent 3 hours for a doctor's visit, and I've never had to do that. Their availability is good when I need it, but if I don't need it they schedule. If you're sick, they'll see you that day or the next day, and sometimes I said I have a problem and I thought I knew what it was and she said no, she needed to see me and she brought me in as soon as I can make it. The office environment is fine. They are very good about communication. They even have an email sent up where they will send you your lab reports and any notes the doctor has on them. Each patient has an account. With regards to the effectiveness of treatment, so far so good. They are good with their billing and administration.

The waiting room is very small and the furniture very uncomfortable. The staff and Dr. were very kind and friendly. My son was reassured and felt better about his appointment. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely use them again if the need arose and recommend the office to a friend for their child.

I just got back from vacation and had such bad sunburn that my legs were swollen. I called Bartlett Internal Medicine and they got me in that day. I saw Jamie Covington. She is so nice and caring. I thought she was going to lecture me about getting sunburn but instead she was very concerned about the burn itself. I was in and out within an hour.

Dr. Hyatt has been my primary care physician for about 20 years now, and she is the greatest, in a class by herself. If your condition is beyond her scope of knowledge, she will gladly refer you to a specialist. I have only met one other doctor comparable to her, and that was many years ago. As other reviewers have noted, she takes time to actually listen to you. So what if the appointments run behind schedule? I give her the highest recommendation, without hesitation. I feel lucky to have found her.

Our physician is Dr. H. David Hickey, Jr, but he will be retiring soon. The overall experience was fine. I would give them A's all down the list. Dr. Hickey's nurse was fine and they were very professional people.
