  • I was taken to a small room to wait for the nurse practitioner to see me. I sat there for almost one hour before she saw me. She offered no explanation as to why she had me wait so long. I have had to see her before, her bedside manner is definitely lacking.

  • If you want an arrogant condescending doctor who expects you to say how high when he says jump, then this guy is for you. My wife and I need a new PCP, and this "doctor" is in the practice of our lost PCP. So we interviewed him as part of an office visit for several minor problems. He consistently failed to listen, supplied me with patently incorrect information, and failed to solve my problems. We felt that it was his way or the highway and we chose the highway. Finally, this guy is very overweight, so don't expect useful diet help from him.

  • Told me the surgery I needed, when I tried to talk to him about my history he cut me off stating we are all aware of your history. He then planned my surgery without my consent. I didn't show up I was scared to death of the man.

  • The receptionist (to include the front office help) & the shot room nurse were unorganized, demeaning and rude. The first appointment I had scheduled for injections-they didn't have me on the schedule and asked me why I was there. My serum was not mixed (this delay in mixing the serum caused a HUGE bill for me due to changing insurance-over $900.00) Plus, I did not get to have a visit that day and had to return to the office again. The second time I went to the office for injections someone locked the door-literally in my face at 3:59pm (They closed that day at 4pm). I stood there and knocked as they threw the deadbolt--I had driven straight there in traffic from work (UT Hospital). I called the office while standing at the locked door and receptionist answered the phone and told me "Sorry the nurse has already left. You can come back tomorrow or Saturday." I told the receptionist how unprofessional I felt this was as well as inconvenient and that I wasn't sure that I would return at all. I NEVER did return to their office for anymore shots or follow-up visits. This happened August 2016. No one EVER attempted to contact me. I paid my bill, but I won't be returning. It makes you wonder if the doctor knows how the office is being run.

  • Fantastic.....the doctor was excellent. She performed tests he never had before and it made a big difference in the aids she recommended. He is absolutely satisfied with her service and her recommendations. Never heard better....

  • Dr. Ryan Pickens provided all the care for my cancer diagnosis through to the post-surgery checkups. He provided thorough information and treatment alternatives. His advice was very helpful for us in making a decision. His execution of the surgery was very effective with the best possible results, helping with good recovery progress.
The office runs efficiently, normally right on time with appointments, and in and out without notable delays. Only one occurrence with a longer visit. The office staff are courteous and professional.

  • The appointment was at 330pm.  I got there at 315pm.  A friend came with me to help me with the question and answer session so we were both taking time off from work that we would have to make up. 330pm came and we did not get called back into one of the rooms.  Shortly after a man came out of the back rooms and went to the receptionist and said he had waited 45 min's back there and he had yet to see the Dr. and he had been there since 2pm.  He said he would go find another Dr.  The receptionist, instead of apologizing for the wait said, "No one else will take your insurance!"  So he said he would consider rescheduling and left.  About 4pm they called another guy to go to the back rooms and he said he was not going to go back there and wait 45 min's for a Dr. after he'd already been there 45 minutes and he rescheduled with the receptionist.  Finally at 430pm we were called back to wait in one of the little rooms.  We waited until 530pm and then we left.  I advised the receptionist I was very upset because the was supposed to be my "cancer" talk and I had waited 3 weeks to get an appointment when he'd have time to talk to me.  She said she was sorry but he was just running behind.  NOT ACCEPTABLE!  The nurse called me the next day and left me a voice mail to apologize for the long wait and Dr. Waters was offering to call me on Friday.  I never returned the call.

  • My experience was good. She is rather young so she seems to be up on the newest things. When I mentioned to her I had been having some funny feelings in my chest like irregular heartbeat, she immediately put me on a heart Holter and then, when the results of that came back, she immediately referred me to a cardiologist. So, she seems to be on-top of things.

  • I have been going to her forever. She is really good. They have a bunch of satellite offices. She discover a heart problem. She was very thorough and I ended up with a pacemaker. She is primary care doctor and got me to the specialist. The office staff is nice, the office environment is nice, and the waiting room is big. I don't wait long to get in. I was grateful that she found my problem. I know that she is busy and I had to wait two weeks to get in.
