The wellness check up is very thorough. They have a very efficient operation and are very responsive to on line requests through their patient portal. That portal makes it very easy to access medical records and correspond with the office. I have spent 47 years in tertiary care medicine so I am rather discriminating regarding health care providers.

I was having issues with the NP assigned to me.  I was never able to see a medical doctor.  Mike Wiseman is very easily angered and he is very vindictive making attempt to destroy the one's that do not bow to him.  I ask to change and was dismissed from the practice.  I cannot find another Endocrinologist in Knoxville as this place has a monopoly on Endocrinologist in the area.  They are very unprofessional, rude, arrogant, blaming the patient when they fail, easily to anger (Mike Wisemen, Dr Williams).  This office is not a doctors office.  They are a test center for Pharmaceuticals.  I was put on many of the new drugs but was denied access to older drugs.  I am retired on Medicare and need to have a little more inexpensive drug.  The drugs they were forcing me to use where new on the market and extremely expensive.  They do not adhere to the "Hippocratic Oath" and in my opinion should be closed forever and the doctors barred from practicing.  This is the worse place I have ever been to.  I have been Type 2 Diabetic for one 35 years.  They have no clue what diabetes is and how to treat it.  This is an office of quacks.

Let me say I used to never go to the doctor for some 20 years or so because of my prior visits taking hours of waiting to be seen the waiting room for a brief 15 minute visit after a 2 hour wait (what was the purpose of making an appointment). When I reached my 50's I decided to give it another try since it is recommended when you get older.

Since I have gone in for various things and they are very prompt. I had a physical and was out in less than 1 1/2 hours. Regular visits are usually  around 30 minutes or less. I have since been diagnosed with diabetes and have to go regularly every quarter and NEVER dread going. If my doctor is not in when I need to go they even offer for someone else to see me.

They could not guarantee that my food was germ free. I donated my blood twice in case they needed it. I called and asked them to cancel the operating room so that I would not have to pay for that. They would give me the blood I donated. Had I known that I would not have given them my blood and I would have had me energy after the surgery. I would tell anybody not to do surgery before christmas.

    Belew Drugs Washington Pike
My husband goes to a pain clinic and sometimes when we go to the other pharmacy, we would have to go to five or six different locations to find his medicine. Belew Drugs had it there and promised us to have it there and has had it there every single time. They have so many things there than what you imagine that other pharmacies doesn't do. This is personal. They know you by first name. They know what you take. They give us all our flue shots, our immunization type shots every year, my vitamin B shot about every month and they'll say if my vitamin B is due. I don't even have to think about it. They give us phone calls when medication is due. Pricing is wonderful. They're wonderful.

They are awesome and I like them.  There are three pharmacists that I deal with regularly.  They know who I am when I walk through the door.  They are friendly and take the time to discuss things.  I have a prescription that overlaps the other one but it was a larger milligram so she said that she can't fill this because of my insurance but she said I'll take two of what I already got and then they will skirt the line when I start....they are really good about doing things like that.

Arrived for my appointment at 645am and had pre-registered.  I was taken back to the procedure room at 655am ( appointment was for 700am) and the staff was not only personable but most professional.  The procedures were complete by 830am and I left the facility.  The staff followed up the next day to inform me that my reports were ready and mailed the information to my Doctor in Austin, Texas.

Everything was great! The care after surgery was great. They ensured that he was comfortable and he had the physical care post-op that was needed. Everything from the facility, care, to the nursing staff was just fantastic.

It wouldn't make a difference. It depends on the income. She's looked at different plans and she sees what fits me the best. She's very knowledgeable. It's working much better than before. I'm happy with the plan I've got. The price is very good.

How does an Octogenarian get poison ivy?! My eighty yr old MIL somehow contracted a rash that looked like poison ivy. The dr confirmed it and suggested Calamine lotion or some sort of shot (can't remember the name now). The MIL did not want to spend the money on either and started using Gold Bond lotion on it. While soothing for a bit, the itching got out of control and so did her scratching.
I asked the Kroger pharmacist to recommend a natural product or a home remedy as opposed to "the shot" that would quickly heal the opened blisters and hopefully reduce the itching.  Not only did she have suggestions in both areas (evidently she understands seniors need to hang onto their wallets) but she took the time to show me the area in the organic/health section and showed me pricing. She was pleasant, resourceful and very helpful.
I've been to many many pharmacies and usually expect the attitude of "you-are-bothering-me, what-do-you-want-now", but there was not a hint of this with both staff members. Good experience, I will use again!
