AGLS Remodeling LLCThis is the 2nd job Gil has done for me. Previously he remodeled my guest bathroom. I knew he would do a quality job also this time. Very pleased with the completed project. Shower/tub was replaced with floor to ceiling tile. New hinged shower door was installed, as well as folding shower seat, rain shower head, safety grab bars. Floor tile was replaced. Great job! Narrow linen closet door was removed, spaced opened up for easier access to shelves. Vanity, mirrors, lighting, vanity faucets, and exhaust fan were replaced with better products. Work space was kept as clean/neat as possible during the project. Job was started on time. Gil was always here when he said he would be. Super happy with the job. Thank you GLS. ACLIFTON PLUMBING COMPANYBased on my first and so far only experience with this plumber, Dale, I recommend him highly. I am amazed at what he did for me. I had a rotten drain pipe going back into the wall that needed to be replaced. Two plumbing companies with fancy trucks told me they couldn't replace the pipe, and they would have to take out the sink vanity, cut holes in the wall replace a large section of the iron pipe with PVC parts. They would do this sometime next week at a price between one and $2000. Luckily, I called Clifton Plumbing Co., and Tammy had Dale give me a call explaining how he would take out the old copper drain pipe, which would be soldered into a collar and replace it with a new galvanized pipe. He talked big, but could he deliver? Dale showed up on time a few hours later in an old Chrysler minivan, looked at the job, and got to work. He didn't talk much, and I had to stay out of his way, but less than 30 minutes after he arrived, he had the pipe and collar removed from inside the wall and replaced with a new galvanized pipe ready to hook the sink too. I was so amazed at what this guy could do that I ask him if he could also replace the same kind of pipe in a bathroom on the other side of the wall. 20 minutes later, he came out, and it was done. I didn't get fancy trucks nor salespeople to schmooze me, but I did get to talk to Tammy, and I got to see a skilled plumber go in laser-focused on getting the job done and doing what others could not do. AWe've used Westbrook Repair for several projects since buying our old house 2 years ago. We decided to have them do our new roof this year. Could not be happier! It involved taking down some old dormers and an old, non-functioning chimney, not an easy task! They even preserved the old chimney so we could use it as a memorial to our old house. Our work was done in a timely manner and they were there to address a few issues after. They are GAF certified which was one reason we chose them. ABecause of weather problems Lora and crew were here two weeks early. Scot and his helper cleaned out the trash in the crawl space and prepared to put down the vapor barrier. They did this job a bit out of order because of the COLD weather. The morning they started it was 16* ! Their first task was the vapor barrier. After that the spray foam insulation. Then the old insulation was removed and hauled away. Lora did the job in this order because of the COLD weather. She told me she would NOT leave us with no insulation for any amount of time with temperatures this cold. Lora cares about her customer and works very close with them . She even let me work with them a little bit. I'm an old retired Marine and still like to be involved. I don't think I got in the way too often. Her prices are very reasonable; there is no reason for negotiation. I'll definitely be calling Lora at Green River for any other needs around my home. Thank you Lora & Scot Howard, the Troll
