FLeft several phone messages as well as message via Angie's List with my email and cell phone # asking them if they could handle two 85 pound dogs for bathing and nail trimming. They never responded to any of my inquiries. Their internet ad stated that they had experience with all breeds as well as aggressive dogs so I was really interested in them as our dogs can tend to be animal aggressive. I kept calling until a live person answered the phone only to tell me they were not taking new animals. A simple reply to my initial inquiry is the respectful, professional response I would have expected of them.

FI took my sweet male cat for shots and a check up and they left their side door open and he ran out. It has been over 2 weeks now and I still haven't found him. (I have done just about everything humanly possible) They lied to me telling me that my cat had opened the metal door himself-a "freak accident" which would have been impossible. The owner later called me and told me the door had been left "ajar"! I saw it and it was wide open!! My poor scared cat climbed over their fence and is fending for himself in the bitter cold nights we recently have had. Plus this isn't the 1st time this has happened. I've been in contact with someone else who left their dog for boarding there and he escaped thru an open door also and was missing for 11 days (luckily the owners finally found him). If you value your pets don't take them here!! They are careless and reckless (certain employees, not all) and have not offered to help find him. They put out one tiny cage at the end of the parking lot with dried up food and that was their "help"!!

AThe vet was very nice to the cat. She checked him out, and we went home. I thought the quality was just fine. The vet interacted really effectively with the cat, and the cat did not freak out.

AReigning Cats & Dogs Grooming SpaShe did both cats, both 2 years old, had not had a bath since they were kittens. One has fur that tangles badly PLUS she has ADKD (Attention Deficit Kitty Disorder) in that she won't sit still for us to groom her properly to get the knots out. This lady gave them both baths, but Misha, the one with the knots, we decided to give her a "Lion Cut", just cut her fur short from neck to tail to get rid of the knotty fur completely. She chased our kitty around her salon for 3 hours. She finally put her into the cage to calm down, about 95% completed, and the end result was 150% better than the matted mess she was before. We will go back, and future grooming sessions won't be as bad because the cats will not need baths (they rarely do, I was just concerned it had been so long since they had one) just grooming and our little girl will likely sit still better for the clipping, because she LOVES how it feels to be brushed and petted now, without all of those knots in her fur....she even sits still longer!! Tara went above and beyond trying to complete the clipping, most groomers would have given up and restrained her to get it done, and I would not have blamed her one bit if she had...she did not.- Lisa B.

AThe Grooming Room at Oak Ridge FeedLove the ladies at Oak Ridge Fd. Always take our dogs there to be groomed, very reasonably priced and always do a great job. Before we used OR Feed we tried other groomers around the area who started out doing a good job but after a short while ended up slacking! Not OR Feed, been going there for yrs now and they continue to do a great job!- T R.

AALL KREATURES PET CAREI couldn't believe the dogs the groomer brought me were the dogs I had dropped off! The white fur on their chest, tips of feet and tails was snow white. their toenails were beautifully chiseled as if they had been placed into a pencil sharpener then squared off on end. When I got them home, I was petting their super soft hair and looked to see how their skin looked, it was white just like the tips of their tails. Another wonderful part of this adventure was it did not take all day long like it does at chain pet stores. In addition, my dogs were treated like royalty, and allowed to wait and play in on of their indoor puppy cottages and play area. They had their own 15x20 enclosed room with a window, and the door was open half way up. They had access to water so they could rehydrate after the experience, which usually when I pick them up form other groomer, they are dehydrated and immediately let me know they need water. I much prefer the waiting space they provide for clients. Instead of being placed back into a large crate with 20 other animals howling and barking. The cost was only $55 per dog, and did I mention, their haircuts were amazing, i only had faces trimmed and feet trimmed as poodle feet to avoid hem carrying so much debris at home. I cant express how sweet their faces looked, because the groomer was skilled and the puppies trusted her.- Melissa M.

APet ProsIt's a dog food store and they have a groomer in there. Her name is April. April and her husband have the business of grooming. We have Miko done every 4 weeks. Miko is our dog. We've used 3 different groomers here and she was the best one so we are staying with her. The price is good. We have a Spitz and Pomeranian mix. She keeps him looking pretty good. He doesn't get winter cuts down here because the weather is only about 75. Miko went diving in the grass and rolling around. My wife complained that she stunk so we called her up and she got him in that day. She is professional.- James R.
