    I'm posting this review to counter a positive review for previous work that I had posted to the businesses' website when I had my starter replaced a few years ago. I was pleased with their work at the time and when the owner asked that I post a review, I did so. I later needed some additional work, including replacing my timing belt, which I knew was needed. A few months after the work, I started to have major engine problems and went to a different repair shop (which I still use). I had to have my engine replaced because the timing belt had not been installed correctly by Roberts. I posted a negative review to Roberts Auto and received a very hateful phone call from the owner arguing that "the timing belt can't be installed incorrectly- you just call a Toyota dealer and ask them!". My negative review was not posted to their website. Several auto mechanics from my workplace said "of course the belt can be installed incorrectly- if you'd asked us, we'd have told you to stay away from Roberts". In my understanding, the belt actually wore away part of the engine because it wasn't tracking properly and rubbed against part of the engine. Granted that is probably a poor explanation, as I'm not mechanically inclined, but the wear on the engine from the belt was quite visible. I've had people I know tell me they used Roberts based on my review on their website. I would remove my positive review, but I cannot- all reviews are screened by Roberts and no negative reviews are posted. I'm posting to Angie's list in an attempt to counter my positive review. Stay away from this shop,

    He is so good; he is amazing at what he does; he is the best in the world. He gives the best estimates, will quote you fair and stands behind his work. If you are a woman or a man it doesn't matter. He is just that good and I really recommend him to anybody. I really think the most of him. He is actually about to do a carburetor on another car. He is really good about that. He will do a free estimate so he let us know how much it was going to be. So we know how much it is going to be and he will do it for that. He did not gouge us (on price) the last time he worked on our car like the other places do. I had to take the car in and I am disabled. I thought I was going to get gouged, but he was very good with me and I appreciated that. He did not give me the wahoo and I think a lot of women get that. He did not add things on. He has a good guarantee on his work. He was able to tell me what was wrong with it and explain to me about it. I was able to tell my husband about it. If I can explain to my husband about it I thought it was pretty good.

    They're very good. Their services are great, they're ready to help you. If I'm going to be there for a while they will always ask me about the car, it's just an overall a very good experience. They're very professional.

    I have a new Ford and they give me free oil changes that's why I use them.  I don't think they did a really good job because I was supposed to get a free oil change and a 29 check and they didn't do it.  They're supposed to give me a certificate of what they checked and I never got this certificate.  It's 3 times that they never gave me anything that they did so I don't think they're really good.  The oil change is not free anymore so I'm going to go someplace else.  The quality wasn't very good because the only thing they did was change my oil and they didn't rotate my tires or check my windshields or brake lines.  They didn't do what they're supposed to do.

    Grayson is a very nice place and they are very helpful. I went there knowing what I wanted and they were very helpful. We are always satisfied with the work that they do. Sometimes we have extra service that is age related on the maintenance plan. I think the prices are normal. I liked the price of my vehicle when I bought it and I think that the maintenance is good as well. Everytime we go, even to just get an oil change we get a thank you note in the mail. My husband doesn't always call for an oil change appointment, he can just drive over there and they will do it.

    Their prices are competitive with the other auto repair places for regular service, oil change, lube; etc. I have had one or two major service problems that they have fixed for me. They have been there for years. They have a good reputation. They have always been honest and prompt. I have only had one bad experience with them. They were good with the routine tire changes, oil changes, brakes; etc. I will use them again in the future.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
    While installing new tires, the manager called me to the desk and said they had discovered a serious problem with fluid leaking at the CV joint. He said the problem had to be fixed immediately, before I drive it any more. He said I shouldn't move it off the premises without getting it repaired. When I explained that I had errands to finish, he said the problem was so severe that I should rent a car or call a cab to finish my errands, but not to leave the shop without getting it fixed, or I could have a serious accident. When he stepped out of the showroom, another employee told me to just have it fixed as soon as I could, that it wasn't as urgent as the manager was telling me. The estimated cost for the "urgent" repair was several thousand dollars . I later took my vehicle to my local repair shop that I've used for many years. They said it wasn't urgent, but needed to be fixed and did the repair for $300. I had been getting my tires at this particular Firestone shop for a number of years before that, but I will never use them again.
