FKnox Handyman THorrible. Came in with a $130 part we didn't need for our water heater, admitted he didn't know what he was doing, and didn't even check to see if it was getting power before he started tearing it apart. We sent him on his way before he done more damage. We got someone else in to look at it and all that needed to be done was to hit the reset button. $200+ wasted. Highly disappointed in the service and Angie's List. First time using this service and THE LAST!- Scottie H.

FParamont Construction & Design, LLCThe Contractor, James Christopher, was rude, belligerent and aggressively violent. We paid our money to him for materials and labor and he never paid the Subs so we now have liens on our home for unpaid work. We had to finish the house ourselves depleting our savings that we had saved for our retirement. He is a crook and a habitual liar. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND JAMES CHRISTOPHER!- Ron H.

AFiorio Building CompanyAnthony had to completely redo a botched job that was done the previous year by another contractor. This included tearing down the walls, excavating excess soil, planned and executed the new wall system and actually did more work than anticipated. ACould not be happier with the job Jerud and his team did. We chose them because out of all the contractors we had out he seemed the most thorough in assessing and addressing our house's issues. His team was flexible, dependable, and honest. For instance, when they found a serious electrical issue that the person who flipped our house 15 years ago had left they told us immediately, explained the problem in detail, and gave us the name of the electrical team they were working with who could remedy it soon. Jerud even credited us back money for part of a job on our roof that ended up not being not necessary. He checked and double checked to make sure the leak issue would be resolved by doing something minor. We were so thankful that his team took on our project as it was not a huge glamorous before and after, but way more than what a general handyman would be hired for. He gave a year warranty on any work that was done and was completely professional and friendly. His reputation was verified by the electrician who came out a few days later and said, "Jerud really is a good, honest contractor. It's sad to say there aren't many like that anymore and I work with a lot..."

ANeeded my old deck torn down and decided to have a screened porch built in it's place. Both Jeff and Joey were excellent to work with in terms of responsiveness, professionalism, and most importantly design and creative ideas. I had some preset ideas and they either incorporated them or came up with better options that I had not thought about. Ended up with a solid screened porch that will outlast the house and have been spending almost every evening in it.

AThe job was actually done a year ago, so we are late in posting this review. However, it most meaningful that we continue to be extremely pleased, a year later. This project was the second large renovation project we’ve done. We found ourselves needing to find another contractor, since the contractor from our previous renovation had retired. We searched through Angie’s List and found C&L. Their references were excellent, so we chose them. The project started on time and ran on schedule. Ryan, foreman, was extremely professional and sensitive to our needs and inconveniences. We cannot say enough about how smoothly this went and how satisfied we are, one year later. We would definitely use this company again.
