We purchased a log home kit and hired a contractor to build it. Everything went okay until we made the final payment and it wasn't near complete. That's when he left. We contacted Tyrone and asked if he could help. I should mention we are in Florida so we are doing this long distance. Tyrone answered my e-mail immediately and went to look at the property the next day. We developed a plan which ended up a bit more complex as we uncovered many mistakes made by the previous contractor. To date we have strengthened the footings, waterproofed the basement, framed walls, roughed in electric and plumbing and installed garage doors and gutters.

Everything was completed on time and in a very professional manner. It is now exciting to go to the house to see the progress and we look forward to finishing the job with Tyrone. He has been very helpful with suggestions and the pricing is reasonable. We paid in steps and each bill included receipts for materials and labor. We couldn't be happier.

Roofed and screened in deck added to house, along with numerous repairs and upgrades throughout.

It went quite well. I particularly liked that we could make decisions about different approaches, as well as price and materials as we went along. The projects went very well and the work was excellent. Tyrone also seems to have a network of fellow specialists to call on who do concrete, gutters, electrical, etc. We paid weekly and I felt the project and costs were under control and could expand or contract as I needed. I would hire them again (and probably will).

Technically Aesthetic General Contractors came and gave me an estimate on putting a roof in for my insurance.

I can't remember the price but it was reasonable. Technically Aesthetic General Contractors responded quickly and came out exactly the same day. Well, the guy knew what he was doing. He was very professional. I thought the price was pretty reasonable.

I got an estimate for enclosing a porch and finishing a project on the back deck that somebody else had started. It was basically a home addition sort of. The porch was there but it wouldn't be like a garden room or anything but, turning it in to part of the house. There were certain sides that had to be done. It wasn't just like somebody just encloses a porch, there was a lot more to it.

The project was more than I had an idea. It has nothing to do with them but the project was more than I was anticipating. The quote was excellent. I would use them again in future.

Remove existing guttering, fascia aluminum, and subfascia board from the back of the house. Install new pressure treated fascia board and cover with new custom bent fascia aluminum and reattach vinyl soffit. Install new 6" guttering and attach to existing downspout. Install new snow guards on metal roof 24" on center staggered.

Excellent. Tyrone was very professional, arrived on time and was very responsive to e-mails and calls for coordination. The three workers showed up on time, kept the area clean, and did quality work. In fact my friends were impressed by how the workers were paying attention to detail and took the time to explain what they were doing. I would not hesitate to contact them again for future work and would recommend them to friends.

Exterior repairs to small house: Replaced shingles, flashing, felt, drip edge, ridge vents, certain siding sections, gutters & downspouts, & repaired minor decking damage with new OSB; replaced front porch roof with shingled one with aluminum-wrapped posts; replaced metal awning on back with shingled, aluminum-wrapped wood awning.

Owner Tyrone Mitchell was prompt and professional. He had good suggestions and offered me options in different price ranges, which I appreciated. He strikes me as an intelligent, honest individual who understands building design and construction from top to bottom. Unfortunately, it was not Tyrone who performed the work. His employees and the roofing subcontractors were careless pigs who damaged my property and left so much trash and building debris (which I had been assured by Tyrone would be completely removed) that 3 months after the completion of the job, I'm still picking it out! So far I have found 55-60 nails, lots of cigarette butts (many cleverly buried in the flower beds), candy wrappers, used Band-Aids & gauze, orange roofing washers, old shingles, discarded ends of new wooden beams, and countless sharp pieces of aluminum. For years I have treasured the rich soil beneath mature shrubs in my flower beds surrounding the house. That precious humus is now contaminated with so much crap that I can no longer safely use it to enrich my vegetable gardens. I can not walk barefoot in the yard, nor can I allow my 2 dogs to play without wondering if one of us will unknowingly step on some dangerous object hidden in the grass. The glass is what's left of my former front porch light, which the workmen broke and then said nothing about. When I noticed it, I told Tyrone, who reimbursed me for a new light fixture, which I made a special trip across town to pick up; he installed it at no extra cost. Rather than removing sawdust, nails and other building debris from the front porch, it appears that his hired pigs simply swept it and the smaller pieces of broken glass into my mulched flower beds. I've removed all the glass I could find, but from now on I'll have to wear gardening gloves (which I detest). Then there was the damage inflicted on my >25 year old specimen shrub next to the front porch. I had to prune at least 10 years' worth of broken branches from what used to be a beautiful Kalmia latifolia. Although Tyrone knocked off $100 for the damage, I can't buy another mature plant for that. Something that size can't be easily transplanted anyway. Honestly, I feel sick every time I pull into my driveway and see the puny, lop-sided thing on display. I would assume that whatever falling object crushed the shrub is what also chipped my front porch. Although it was not a showpiece before the work, the porch was so scratched and gouged afterward that I had to repaint it. That's when I noticed that the edge of the concrete next to the shrub had a chunk broken off. Bottom line: I feel that Tyrone delegated too much to employees who lack his commitment to quality and who seem to be unconcerned about damaging other people's property. And although I am pleased with the appearance of my house, the overall experience was quite disappointing.

Remodeled kitchen which included removing a wall and moving door entries extending the kitchen making it more functional; Included new cabinets, new floor, new lighting, adding new trim and crown molding, and installing new appliances.

We were really happy with the kitchen remodel. Firstly, the contractor worked with us to come up w a plan that included all our "must haves' given the challenges of working on a house built in 1952. During the actual construction, he was open to feedback and when we had concerns, he worked with us to resolution. The final result is amazing. He lived up to his company name and delivered a kitchen that is "technically aesthetic".

Completely remodeled a poorly screened in car port and transformed it to a beautiful screened in porch.

We were so pleased with our kitchen remodel in April 2015, that we hired them to remodel our poorly screened in car port transforming it into a beautiful screened porch area. Once again, the contractor took his time in the early stages working with us to come up w a plan before starting any work. We hired a mason to build a new brick knee wall for the porch, and TA prepared the area for the mason to work safely. It included removing the ceiling to expose the roof area. We wanted to retain the original characteristics while modernizing it. and we accomplish what we set out to do. The remodel included installation of a composite deck floor; refurbishing the inner roof structure for safety and aethestics (it was contractor's idea to remove the ceiling, opening up the vaulted ceiling allowing us to have screens on the outside wall right up to the roof peak), removal of attic ladder and installation of new tongue and groove wall w door into the attic. Oversaw the installation of double "Phantom Screen door" to outside deck area; TA installed a dutch door to kitchen which is amazing, and all new screen system. Plus replaced all electrics. TA worked w us again and addressed all our concerns w professionalism. The final result is a gorgeous screened in porch which is reminiscent of a beach side picnic area (something I miss after relocating to the South)- still rustic but bright and airy. We couldn't be happier. We are looking forward to some other projects next year and would definitely use TA again.
