    So some of your questions are not appropriate or consistent with this kind of business. The services they provide are the administrative handling of and payment to medical practitioners. An appointment date is irrelevant. They have been as good as any insurance company we've had. We're saving around $1800 per year over what we have paid for other such insurance coverage. So we are very satisfied with Crestpoint. If that kind of performance continues into next year, that will be excellent.

    They were voted pharmacy of the year. They saved my life a couple of times when I got so dehydrated when I didn't bring my prescription. They were wonderful. I like their personal concern and knowledge. They make sure that you get the right medicine and have no detrimental effect. They are always there to help.

    This most recent time I received a bill for labs that was in total 2100.00 The customer service department is very helpful. I gave the date of service for the labs that I was being charged for. After putting me on a brief hold they were able to locate the reason for the lapse in coverage.

    They were excellent and I liked everything about them. I liked the cleanliness of the hospital and the staff. They were caring and they were really what medicine is all about or should be about. The only thing is they didn't have any cardiac department, so I had to leave the hospital for cardiac care.

    My daughter had a very sore throat and we suspected possible strep.  Brought her to First Assist, strep test completed negative (whew) and allergy medicine prescribed. All very well done!

    He’s with Appalachian Family Care.  He’s very good and very thorough.  We feel very fortunate to have found him.  Overall, he’s excellent.  We have to wait a little while, but we don’t mind because he’s very good.  His bedside manner is very good.  They are there when we need them.  The treatment is very effective.  We would continue to see him in the future and we hope to keep him.

    I live right next to them and it is so convenient. The pharmacists are so personable and in fact one of them called me and told me about a drug interaction problem. Two different doctors had me on that medication and he wanted to make me aware of that problem and I thought that was very personable. Every time I call them, it is like I am an individual person and when I call they know by my name. At times when I could not go out and collect the medication, they would let my boyfriend pick it up.

    This review is totally about the nurse practitioner who works there. I don't see her on the provider list, but I think this practice has a lot of staff turnover. Their website hasn't been updated with staff changes in ages. The nurse practitioner (Debra Uncapher) is unquestionably the rudest and most hostile person I've ever had the misfortune to meet. This is supposed to be an alternative/complementary/holistic sort of practice and she snickered rudely at the list I brought of my vitamins/minerals/herbs that I take. She was extremely hostile in her manner throughout the entire examination and when I went back to get the results of my blood tests. Even though my blood tests revealed some issues she had ZERO advice or treatment to offer. She read through my results quickly and glossed over some things that concern me. My c-reactive protein is scary high and she never even mentioned it until I prodded her. All in all a HORRIBLE experience.

    I dropped off my prescriptions to be filled while I shopped for groceries. This took about 20 minutes; and my prescriptions were ready for me to pick up when I was finished shopping. The pharmacist went over the medications with me and how to take them. He made sure I understood. I was also given computer printouts about the medication/side effects....etc... The checkout process was quick and simple. The pharmacists there are always very nice and professional.

    Just before I was called in for surgery I was ask to sign several pieces of paper. Before I had a chance to revue what I was signing they called my name to come back. I hurriedly signed all the papers and went back to prep for surgery. My surgery was scheduled for 2:00 PM. I was finally taken to surgery at 6:45PM. Surgery was performed successfully and when I awoke in the recovery room my wife notices a bruise on my upper lip. We ask the nurse about it and everyone said that was normal. I went home and the next morning I awoke to find that my upper front bridge was loose. I went to my dentist and found that the right anchor for this bridge had been broken off above the gum line. He had to surgically remove the broken anchor and prep for a new bridge to be anchored at my two eye teeth. This cost me $4800.00. I went back to the surgery center to talk to the anesthesiologist and she was very uncooperative. She said there was no way she could have broken my bridge and furthermore I had signed a paper that relieved her of all responsibility. My lawyer said that since I had signed that release that there was nothing else we could do. Being retired on a fixed income I am having a hard time paying for this. I pray that anyone that is having any kind of surgery go somewhere besides here.
