    Mr. Appliance
very well. Problem was diagnosed and total price was disclosed after diagnosis. My only reservation was he asked for full price in advance. I offered $100 against a $175. total bill. He was ok with that, so I gave him $100 and paid the balance when he returned with the part and installed it. Now that I/m familiar with him, if I have to use him again, I will not have any concerns about paying the full price in advance.

    Mr. Appliance of The Tri-Cities
If I could give this company a negative star I would. Spoke to the office manager regarding an issue that was coming up on warranty and I was given an less than adequate excuse for them refusing to guarantee the warranty. I have given them thousands of dollars over the year they have serviced my home appliances, and each time I have had to dish out more cash since there was always something "new" that was wrong. Not today! They have lost this customer over a less than $200 part and I would not recommend them to anyone who appreciates good customer service. Unfortunately, the tech was amazing...the office leadership...not so much! When I spoke of writing a letter to corporate, the office manager said they were a franchise...basically, we answer to no one. So unfortunate!!!

What a JOKE!!! Sandy from Mr. Appliance came out to diagnose and fix a leaking washing machine. She determined it was the hot water inlet valve and the part was ordered. A couple of days later she returned with a helper and they replaced the part. 2 loads of laundry later the washing machine is pouring water into the floor again. I call them and explain the issue is not fixed, they send Sandy back out. Sandy NOW finds that the cold water inlet valve is leaking!! Strange coincidence right? After paying $235 for the hot water valve, they now want an additional $235 for the cold water valve. I explain that those valves are under pressure and spray water everywhere giving the illusion of leaks elsewhere, that valve was more than likely the main culprit the whole time. I decline the new $235 charge, but guess what, yup they got the $108 service fee fo coming out and telling me I have to spend more money. So in the end I am out $343 and I still have a leaking washer.

    BOWERY APPLIANCE REPAIR
Mr. Bowery was wonderful prompt, very patient, and knowledgeable. After his service call, he advised that i should buy a new stove, as repairing the old one would be just about as expensive. I found him to be a very decent and honest craftsman. I recommend him most highly.

Mr Thompson scheduled my estimate for the next day after I called. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time. My dryer complaint was that "it sounded like something had 'crawled' or 'slithered' somewhere in it and had got caught in a belt or something because the drum wouldn't turn". Mr Thompson had the dryer taken apart and "the slithering thing" which caused the problem removed quickly and 'Professionally'! He repaired, cleaned and gave me needed information on a few faults with my dryer duct work. He was in and out in around 60min and that included a run to the local hardware store. He was nice, friendly, professional and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend him for any job or task. He even give me an estimate and some facts about my washing machine while he was there when I inquired. Reasonably priced as well! This form asked for Photos.....and no I did not take a picture of the dead snake......

    Breezy Creek Landscaping & Construction
I do not hesitate to recommend Greg Ferguson for remodeling projects. The first thing I like about Greg is that he answers all phone calls or texts and shows up when he says he will. He was willing to change plans and try new techniques from what had been planned when problems came to light resulting from previous original building faults. Because it was such a large project in which the cost of many of the items could not be estimated in advance, his cost was for labor only. The project was finished within the time expected. During this project Greg was cognizant of costs, making suggestions that resulted in lower costs. His workers were always on time and I had no concern about them being in my house in terms of security. All were most courteous during this project and were a pleasure to work with. When other contractors whom I had contracted with before he agreed to do the work showed up to install countertops, sand floors, etc., Greg and his workers worked around their schedules and he was very supportive in making sure that their participation in our project was accommodated. In short, Greg is easy to work with and has a very high standard of craftsmanship. We have already asked Greg put us on his schedule to do some work on the outside of house!

Mr. Pugh and his helper arrived approximately one hour after I contacted him, fixed the problem, provided education to my husband and myself about ways to prevent the problem in the future and was finished in less than one hour!  He is very professional and very knowledgable.

He showed up promptly (on the same day that I called him) and he fixed the ice maker in my Kenmore fridge, even though it was a bit more complicated than it initially appeared to be. He did it for a very reasonable price and I would highly recommend him to others.

    Pugh's Appliance Service
Mr Pugh apparently it does not check his email from Angie's List, because after waiting several days, I never heard back from him. So I finally called him, and thankfully he was able to come rather quickly after we first made contact. For that availability, I give him high marks. From there, however, it is all downhill. My problem was a non working ice maker. I could see that the spout that pours into the ice molds was frozen over, but I did not know why. He asked if I had a hair dryer, which I do not, and suggested that all that was needed was to melt the ice. Despite not having a hair dryer and his tool kit, he managed to get the spout deiced and working again. However, his only suggestion for preventing the same issue in the future, was to turn the ice maker off. I worked in IT for many years. This is akin to telling someone that the only way to keep their computer from acting up, is to not use it. He also told me that I had over paid, since I bought the $74 special from Angie's List, but did not offer to refund me the difference. In reading through the included services on that special, it was supposed to include up to to repair trips to fix the issue. However, when I called him back for an issue which turned out to be related to the same root problem about a week or so later, he charged me for anotherfull visit fee. Specifically, the second time, the refrigerator had stopped cooling. This turned out to be due to ice buildup from the same leak that was causing the ice maker spout to freeze over. He once again fix the immediate issue, which was that the fan had come out of place due to the ice and was no longer circulating air, but despite my repeated requests while he was here to look for the root cause of the problem, he completely blew me off. I did eventually figure out the root cause myself through some clever googling. However, given that he is supposedly a professional, it should have been a much easier task for him to troubleshoot and find the problem of a leaky inlet valve. For whatever reason, my suspicion is sheer laziness, he did not want to do this. And for that I give him very low marks as an appliance repairman.
