    Gutters look fantastic. This company extremely attentive to detail and communicative about all work. Had no problems working around my schedule. The owner was one of the easiest people to work with. There was virtually no pressure when it came to payment or the project. Their work also got tested early on, there was 10 inches of snow the very next day and NOT ONE drop of water came thru. I am very pleased with the results. We also had other bids done and not only was he a very competitive quote, he even noticed a problem area that all the other contractors had overlooked.

    They fulfilled the special. Unfortunately, they have not followed up with my invitation to give me an estimate for related services. I have been contacted by them since then, but not to schedule the estimate or provide figures to me. It seems that the well-mannered scheduler and the very professional on-site professional are completely out of sync as to what the next step is supposed to be in my case. 
     
    That's too bad, for I felt they were very trustworthy, in that, in spite of some ceiling water damage I have, the inspector concluded that my roof is okay. The water damage was most likely caused by an ice dam in my gutters last winter. 
     
    I had asked them for an estimate for a better gutter system (either installing screens or an entirely new system) as well as solar-powered roof fans to replace my current generic outlets. 
     
    I can only guess that they aren't really interested in that kind of work, and must prefer to only follow through with total roof replacements.
    I get that. But, their failure to communicate that, especially after the salesman took measurements and said he would get back to me, keeps me from being able to give them perfect scores. 
     
    I would definitely recommend them for a roof inspection, however.

    I contacted the company before ordering to see how long it would be before they would be able to install the gutter guards. I was told it would be a week so I ordered. Communication was awful. It took about a week and a half to get an appointment arranged due to no or slow responses from the company. They missed the first appointment and never called. When I called them they didn't even realized the guy didn't come. Once they did finally come and do the job they did a good job and cleaned everything up. Couldn't even tell someone was there.

    day (May 10, 2013) and they never showed up. then I called to find out what was going on and they said they went to my house and no one was home but that they measured everything anyway and have my estimate. First of all, I have a dog in the backyard and the gates to the backyard are always locked. So how did they get in in the back to measure anything. Second, my husband was there waiting for them, and they were not there. So I do not know exactly whose house they went to and measured, but it was not mine.
    I had originally called them to have work done because of so many good reviews on Angie's list. However, these people at SmithCo cannot/will not show up for the appointment that they scheduled at their convenience, then measure for a new roof that I don't need and did not ever request an estimate for such.
    there is no way I will ever call these people again and will certianly tell everyone I know who is in need for a roof, gutters, facia, etc, NOT to call them.

    1.  I called to make an appointment, their estimate was Free and their estimated price guaranteed.
    2.  I received an email confirming the appointment day and time
    3.  A few days later, we got a service reminder post card with a funny fish
    4.  On the day of our appointment the contractor called to let us know he was on his way.  And he was on-time.
    5.  Our project was large, and several days later, we received an impressive estimate by email (it was very clear about what was included and what was not included)
    6.  We added a few things and took other things off - that changed the price and subsequent estimate was sent to us a few days later.
    7. Our final estimate was mailed to us, the old fashion way, using the USPS.
    8. other companies submitted estimates to us too, some higher, some lower, but none as impressive in presentation or thoroughness as from this company.
    9. We took our time making our decision and felt best about One Call Home Team.  No regret for our choice.
    10.  Once our mind was made up, it took a few weeks to get on their schedule.
    11.  An agreement was emailed to us (basically the final estimate, with a few changes)  and a few days later another reminder post card.  
    12.  As scheduled, they arrived, right on time, to start our building project. 
    13.  The main contractor was on site the entire first few days and routinely after that.
    14.  As the project went along, we were kept updated by email, sometimes daily, with things such as inspection completion, weather delays,Q & A's, etc.  Changes (with work and price) were documented and confirmed by email too.
    15.   As they were due and according to our agreement, invoices were emailed to us and copies snail mailed.
    16. The toughest part was agreeing on floor plans, colors, styles, fixtures, flooring etc.  But our contractor made this as easy as possible with suggestions of where to look and what things should cost.

    I was impressed.  From the onset of the job they were the ones who had found damage on my roof due to hail which other roofers couldnt find or didnt seem concerned enough to really look,  MCR came and did a free roof evaluation, a 10 point inspection and found the damage.  They met with my insurance rep and walked the job with him pointing out my siding and gutter damages also.
    They got me approved for a new roof, and upgraded me to a 30 year shingle even though I was only given a 20 3 tab by the insurance firm.  They were clean and neat and left my home with a sense of gratitude and a lovely new look.  They also added ridge vents and extra water shield where I had none before.  I am so grateful for this MCR and would recommend them to anyone seriously considering a new roof with or without hail damage!   They really took good care of me.
