    B&S Paint & Wallpaper
Work started late, but went ok for a short time. Then the cabinet painting was done very badly, and had to be redone. The company made the island countertop from natural cyprus, and that took much longer that we were told. The first 2/3 of the job took almost two months to complete when we expected about a month for the whole job. They were to use Cyprus to make the main countertops, but we did not hear from them for six weeks. When I finally called, I was told that they had more important things to do instead of working on our job. We were told it would be another month, so we cancelled the rest of the work then. I do not know what happened to this company. We hired them less than two years ago to paint the interior of a house we had just purchased. The job was done in two days over a weekend, and it was very good. Now we would not hire them for any job.

We have several properties that he works on for us. I had a house that I was getting ready to get rid off and he redid the entire house. He can do it all. He is fabulous. He will offer carpenter expertise. He is going to do work for us in the future and we have recommended him to family and friends. I haven't found anything that he can't do.

    Sergio Morales Painting
He was courteous, responsive, punctual, and fair. He came in to repair a bad paint job by another painter/contractor (Joey Carnell) and did an overall good job. He even painted the ceilings again even though we didn't ask because we thought we couldn't afford it. The only complaints are that he didn't raise the windows to paint them so we have another color paint on the bottom of the window. It's only visible when the windows are open. He also damaged a small area of the finish on our hardwood floors in one room. He finished on time. I gave him a B because of the floor and windows but I would rather it be an A-. Thank you, Sergio!

The job didn’t go well, It was an overall bad experience. He told us that he would be done no later than January 12th. He ended up getting behind and would show up whenever he pleased in the morning, he would leave at 2 oclock. Everytime my husband went over to check, he would be outside on his phone, every day. There wasn’t a single time that we pulled into our driveway that he was not outside smoking and talking on his phone. He wouldn’t show up on somedays, getting us way behind. We tried to be nice and finally confronted him about being behind. He didn’t seem concerned about this at all, he was supposed to just paint in the master bedroom and ended up breaking tile off the wall and wasn’t interested in fixing, which wasn’t part of the initial project. He painted all of the trim in our house poorly, we could drag a finger across the paint and it would come off. He blamed it on the paint, which was not the case. Even after talking with the paint company, they gave us a paint by number of everything he needed for the project, he painted it again and it still came off after we tested it. After he painted the trim and walls he said he was halfway done, everything looked good initially, but it wasn’t until later we noticed the poor quality. We felt we paid him too much money. We ended up finding out the sheetrock was cracking and not put on studs. Brand new sheet rock was not puddied or spackled and you can see all the seams on the wall. He ended up putting more spackle on and painted another coat making it look worse. He just got further and further behind. The more we expressed our concern about the project finally getting done he seemed to react by slowing down and not even showing up at some points. We ended up having to fire him this morning, hire someone else and pay them to correct the issue.  He was dishonest about what the expenses were. He told us the paint we chose was the most expensive they offer. He said we were killing him on paint costs. He made us believe each gallon was $40 more than his usual paint. When I spoke with Sherman Williams, they said he had only purchased one and it was only $10 more than his usual paint. His intention was to tack on extra paint cost charges. When we confronted him about that he simply shrugged it off with no explanation.

    Harris Construction LLC
My family and I decided to remodel our home, and this remodeling included the following: 20x30 carport, vinyl siding, metal roof, drywall, and painting. I received several estimates for the job, and Mr. Harris was willing to complete the job for $24,000. Mr. Harris’s bid was considerably low in comparison to other bids, he was highly recommended, and we decided to move forth with his services. The overall project was conducted in a timely matter, and my family was very pleased with his work. I have found Jimmy Harris to be dependable and a man who is committed to providing quality work.

    B&S Paint & Wallpaper
I found the company on Porch.com, and called to ask for an estimate for painting the interior of a home we recently purchased.  The owner returned my call quickly, and we arranged a meeting time.  He arrived on time, and was very professional.  He explained that they are a fairly new company, but the owners have a lot of residential and commercial experience.  We toured the house, and decided on what we wanted him to do.  He said he would email a quote later that day.  A few hours later, I received an itemized quote for each room he was going to paint.  I asked for a couple of changes, and he revised the written quote.  He said they could do the job on a weekend to accommodate our schedule to meet a move in date.  He and his crew arrived on time and got right to work.  They painted two coats on walls, ceilings, and trim on two weekend days, and we have a new looking home.

The company did an excellent job, and we're also about a third of the price less than another company that quoted the job.  They made repairs to the walls, and also accommodated a change we made while they were working.  I will be hiring them for other work in the future.

    Rapid Response Restoration
He constantly had his people go above and beyond to make sure everything in the entire room matched up- meaning he didn't just do the affected area. he painted the entire room's moldings, he cleaned the entire room's tile, he made sure the seals were redone in the bathroom. He was a true professional. Especially is how careful he was in getting all the details needed for the estimate for our insurance company and for us. We had 3 different companies come out, including Servpro and they couldn't even get all their estimates from one person to give me a full estimate. Rapid Response gives you a complete and full estimate and he deals with the other contractors, not you. So you don't have any other headaches to deal with. It was a breeze dealing with Rapid Response! I recommend them to anyone who needs anything done with water cleanup!

    The Painting Company
I have yet to see it myself but I did have someone take a look at it. They were detailed and on the ball. They have a specific process for all of there phases of interior and exterior painting and were very professional. I felt they gave a fair price and their timing was good. They were very upfront about deposits and the payment schedule. I was impressed with the owner who came to do a walk through.

When everyone in town had frozen pipes, he got to my place, got to the burst pipes, fixed them, repaired the drywall and fixed everything up for $200. He has also done some plumbing on leaky bath fixtures. Knows his stuff re home construction, etc.

For the most part the house is well-made.  I did have a problem with the paint that was used in the bathrooms.  To cut costs and mask any imperfections, the builder used flat paint throughout the house.  This became a problem after a few showers as a shadowy area appeared around the crown moulding.  I finally concluded it was the steam dripping down onto the flat paint.  |     Because my house was still under warranty, I called the builder about this issue.  The builder would not return my numerous calls.  I finally talked to his wife and he called me shortly after.  When I described the problem to him, he acted as if I did not know what I was talking about.  I sent him pictures using my mobile phone and he still was not convinced.  I finally convinced him to actually come to my house and look at the bathrooms in person.  I think he thought he was going to "poo-poo" my complaints but did admit that the problem was flat paint in a wet area.  I tried to get his company to repaint using more appropriate paint but he refused.  He did agree to pay me for the paint and I had to hire someone to do it.
