    The technician stated a piece of clothing had slipped into the vent, causing the machine to become immobile. This company charged an initial service fee of $89.00. The technician was not there long and quickly etrieved the piece of garment. A family member made the statement that they had forgotten to place the screen back. The technician stated "well, that will be an expensive mistake" and charged $163.00. In my opinion the cost should have been the $89.00 fee. Aa

    Mr Burns returned my call for appliance repair service in a timely manner. Set up appointment convenient to my schedule. He arrived on time. Evaluated and performed fridge work in an immediate, efficient manner. Cleaned up work site. Evaluated dryer problem and indicated he needed to come back (correct part). Set up appointment for next day to actually perform repair. Arrived on time. Performed dryer work in a timely, efficient manner. Reassembled appliance and cleaned up work site. Accepted credit card, issued receipt and guaranteed work for 90 days. Now after 3 weeks of use all seems to be working fine. Mr. Burns is a courteous, nice, knowledgeable and professional appliance repair person. He has handled 3 repair jobs for me (washer, dryer & fridge) and I am happy with the results of all. I recommend his appliance repair skills.

    Burns Appliance Repair

    Mr. Burns was on time and very nice. He checked out ice maker and determined that it could be that one or two circuit boards could be the problem. That the boards would cost about $100.00 each . That he would try one board first to see if that would fix the problem before installing the other one. This was to save us the cost of two board if possible. He stated he would have to order the board and  come back when they arrive. That was fine with us. But not long after he left the ice maker started to make ice .. It seems. Mr. Burns fix the problem when reinstalling circuit boards ,possible loose connection. I Called him to inform him that the ice maker was making ice ,and to cancel the order on the boards. We believe it could have been a loose connection, and corrected when he reinstalled boards. If not we would have to order boards if the problem happens again. It is now two days later and still making ice.

    Mr. Burns  was honest ,kind and thoughtful . we are going to use his services again when needed.

    Burns Appliance Repair

    Rick Burns (the repairman) is very nice & professional. He returned my initial call promptly (the next morning). He confirmed appointment with a call to me shortly before visit. Arrived during the agreed upon time frame. Sympathetic to my problem. Gave me the Angie's list discount. Very quick & efficient. We had discussed symptoms, model number, etc. prior to repair visit. (I also sent an e.mail with that info to him.) He was equipped with the necessary part. Obviously he was experienced and knew what to do with a minimal amount of "fuss." He checked his work - ran it through a cycle. Gave 90 day written warranty for work and part. Washer now works like it should (the repair was just 2 hours ago; washing a load now; finished washing; clothes clean). All seems to be ok.

    After parts arrived, Wayne installed them, and took away old parts.  Wayne knows what he is doing, he is in quickly and out quickly doing his work professionally and pleasantly.  Wayne also has the patience of a saint explaining everything to a curious old lady...     Very professional and kind. Showed me the issues as he was doing the work. Even though he replaced a part in the refrigerator, it still wasn't getting cold enough. I called them back and they returned promptly. They apologized and told me other issues with the refrigerator/freezer and showed me as well. I received a check in the mail 2 days later for the cost to repair the refrigerator. Everyone makes mistakes, but how you handle them is the most important. They handled it without me even asking for a credit and I would definitely call them again. Great customer service!!!
