    Construction Service Group
Scott Wright owner of Construction Service Group installed a new roof on my home 2 years ago. The roof came with a 5 year labor warranty. With in the first 6 months we had a leak. Upon investigation I found that he did not pull all of the nails before applying the new metal roof. This is evident with all of the dimples that show through the metal and that he had used the old gaskets and the roof was leaking at one of the two vents. After several hours he finally came out and asked to borrow my ladder. A roofer not having a ladder on a service call.... I had to seal that leak due to the weather forecast calling for rain. He never did follow up. The second leak started last week. I have left multiple voice mails, texts, and emails. His office phone isn't set up properly either. Stay away from the company and person. Dishonest and poor to non-existent service.

He and his assistant were very congenial and professional.  The work accomplished was done in a reasonable amount of time.  They did more than I expected and was not charged for this work.  They also gave our roof, a thorough check over and provided some suggestions of work that needs to be accomplished in the near future.  To this point in time, they have provided one estimate for work that needs to be accomplished expeditiously.I would not be a phrase to use their services in the future, and would recommend them, if someone asked.

    J T Home Repair

He came over, inspected the roof. It was in good shape, just lacked some nails in ridge vent. He took pics of the ridge vent on his cell phone and explained what he needed to do and told me what it would cost. After I agreed, he fixed it.

I did inquire about fixing the ceiling- plaster/paint and some other repairs around the house that needed to be done, but he was not interested in doing the work. Since he was driving from about 25 miles away, he said to repair the ceiling (about a 1 foot x 1 foot area) would be $100. Way too much. He did tell me what to do to fix it.

I'm pleased with the remedy for the ridge vent.

    Adams Roofing Company, LLC

Several years ago after a hail storm, Adams Roofing came to our house for repair work estimate.  I greatly appreciated their honesty when I was told up-front that they could not do the job.  I kept the name and number for future reference.  The first part of this year (2014) I recommended them for a family member's roof replacment.  They completed the work to the homeowner's satisfaction.  In June I realized a rental property needed the roof replaced.  I called Adams Roofing; they came within a day or two for any estimate.

I was given an estimate with the understanding that there would be an additional charge for any roof decking that would need replacing after removing 2 layers of old roof.  I was promised the roof would be completed in 1 day, and it was--even though it was a very LONG day.  Good job, and they cleaned up and hauled away all material.

I again called Adams to check for what I thought was a roof leak on another rental property.  After checking on the roof itself and looking at the problem with the interior ceiling, I was told it was not water damage caused by a roof leak.  Again, it is nice to meet an honest contractor.  Yes, I will most definitely use Adams Roofing  when I have another roof problem or need a complete new roof.

They came and did an inspection that was very thorough, when we got the estimate we took it one step at a time, they came and changed out an inproperly installed roof vent and that stopped our leak.  They will make two other repairs when we have the finances to pay for them.

    Custom Renovations Co
Everything went fine.  CRC completed the roof in one day with large, well-trained/experienced crew.  Gutters took about 2 days due to complexity.  We have no hesitation in having Mark back to install hard wood floors.  It's good to find a competent, ethical, trustworthy contractor!   We've remodeled 3 homes and CRC is by far the best we've seen.  Update/follow-up:  There were some attic supports that were either a bit loose beforehand or had come loose during the shingle replacement (perhaps due to traffic and loads on the roof).  I mentioned this to Mark Steck and he had his crew take a look. Within an hour of their arrival, they had everything taken care of:  loose studs were reinforced/braced with several well-placed wood screws (not just nails) and additional cross members installed on trusses.  Everything was tight afterwards. It's this kind of follow-up that is critical to the entire job.  Remember, once a contractor has your money and is gone, it may be difficult to get him back.  This was not the case with Custom Renovations - they will do the entire job properly!

    WOODY BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION
They use subs, so you must know how to supervise them to prevent shotty work and cutting of corners not conducive to current building code. Note: building code is not irrelevant in areas where inspections are not required. There is a reason for codes in the first place - to ensure jobs are done correctly.

    Artech Roofing & Construction LLC
Yilber came out, went up and inspected the section of roof I was concerned about. He then measured and inspected the remainder of the roof checking the flashing and boots around the chimney. I expected the worse but was pleasantly surprised when he told me our roof was fine it had several more years of life. He stated he would not recommend replacing it at this time. He was very polite and thorough. I would definitely recommend ARTECH and would use them again.

    CHARLES LANGLEY ROOFING COMPANY
Mr Langley came to give me an estimate for re-roofing my house. He was on time, and very professional. His estimate was very reasonable and I accepted it.  His estimate included the roofing, flashing, and new boots around plumbing fixtures coming through the roof in addition to his labor.  Mr Langley started the job when he had said he would start. He continued the job, and finished it in a  timely, and professional manner. I would use Mr Langley again, and would highly recommend him to others needing roofing done.

    American Home Improvements LLC
Terrible! Inexperienced crafts people were used to perform the work, resulting in incorrect application of paint, gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards, resulting in damage to my home from overflowing gutters and downspouts. Additional damage was caused from excessive over spray of the paint onto windows, doors, and vinyl siding. The vinyl paint that was used (Rhino Shield) was dumped on my new roof and poured down a main storm drain, causing permanent damage. Outdoor lighting was also damaged. Breakage included statuary, shrubs, and plantings. Damage from the incorrect gutter, guards, and downspouts includes rot to porch columns and fascia underneath the gutters. I have tried several times to get this resolved with the contractor, but to no avail. I have refused to make final payment to the contractor ($5,000) until the repairs are made.
