    A-1 Certified Service Inc
    MISREPRESENTATION, INCOMPETANCE, PROPERTY DAMAGE and FRAUD A-1 Certified Service MISREPRESENTED THEIR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE so that we would accept their estimate about the amount of time that was necessary to install system. A-1 Certified Service did not install our Blue Ridge Ductless Mini-Split System according to the manufacturer's instructions and as a result it did not function for more than 6 months. I was the one who finally figured out why it was not working with help from the manufacturer technical support. A-1 Certified Service DID NOT INSTALL CRITICAL COMPONENTS of our Mini-Split system which were required by the manufacturer's instructions. A-1 Certified Service billed us to use their materials when the same materials that were required were already included with our Mini-Split system components. A-1 Certified Service did not install our Jacuzzi Freestanding Whirlpool Tub according to the manufacturer's instructions. A-1 Certified Service severely damaged the Whirlpool Tub base, overflow drain, faucet supply lines, ceramic flooring and ATTEMPTED TO HIDE THE DAMAGE from us. A-1 Certified Service CLAIMED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, that they had spoken to Westinghouse Water Heater Technical Support about troubleshooting the problems with our Westinghouse Liquid Propane Tankless Water Heater. The documented email evidence from Westinghouse shows that they have never received a call for technical support from A-1 Certified Service AT ANY TIME. Westinghouse Water Heater Technical Support and nonetheless have CHARGED US FOR THE TROUBLESHOOTING WHICH IS FRAUD. WE WILL NEVER USE A-1 CERTIFIED SERVICE AGAIN AND WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE READING THIS CONSIDER CHOOSING ANOTHER AIR CONDITIONING AND PLUMBING COMPANY FOR THEIR NEEDS. If A-1 Certified Service has treated us this way, how many other customers have they cheated and lied to who were unaware and unable to understand what this company was doing to them?

    they engineered the return air size wrong ......smaller than it should have it made a very loud noise......they said to just use cheap filters as they would make less noise........they did not want to do anything about it so I just paid them to add a second return and it stopped the noise immediately ......the engineering formula is all over the internet to support my complaint so it was not my opinion it was a industry fact....they are good people so I will still use them for maintainance ......I just got caught up in the system of a growing company that depends on the decisions of a person they send out....since it���s just a summer home I did not want to waste precious time going back and forth just wanted it fixed.....

They were professional and gave us an estimate to do the work saying it could be completed in about 2 days.  It ended up taking only part of one day.  We regret not getting another estimate for the job to assure that we didn't pay more than we needed to.

    They said freon couldn't be added because of the condensing coil having a leak. Said, I needed a new air conditioning unit. A second opinion found evaporator coil leak, added freon and it worked fine the rest of the summer.

    Considerably time was appplied to the preinstall evaluation and design to assure proper sizing and optimization.
    Sufficient manpower was assigned to the job to complete the installation on time with minimal service disruption.
    Workmen were courtious & respectful.
    Installation was cleaned at the endof the job.
    Supervisory inspection was performed at the end of the job with the homeowner where all operation and maintenance procedures were explained.

    The owners were very prompt to respond and answered all my questions. They are very knowledgeable about their products, which I found to be a rarity with this style unit. They took the time to point out some specs that I hadn't realized. I ended up buying different units than I had initially planned after talking with them.
    After we agreed to the terms, installation took place just a few days later, at my convenience. They fully installed 2 units in about a half day. The crew was very good and easy to work with.

    Our heat pump went out Monday night and Byron came out the next morning and was able to fix it pronto, just a bad capacitor. He cleaned the coils and made sure that everything was OK. Very tidy about his work and very knowledgeable. We are new to the area and were so afraid that we would get someone who would take us for a ride. Not the case with Byron. Very honest, reliable and dependable. Will always use his company.
    We first found his company through our electrician that recommended him when we had a whole house generator installed and his crew came out to install for the propane. His crew also installed our new dual fuel professional stove in the kitchen. Every time we have needed something they have been there. Quick, clean and efficient.

    The technician was punctual, courteous, and knowledgable. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within a short amount of time, especially since he had the replacement part on-hand. A little pricey for the time spent, but I'm sure some jobs take longer than others.

    Originally I was not happy with them but the owner of the company went out of his way to correct the problem.
    First, we had to pay for no work.
    Second, we had to get a second company out.
    Third, their person didn't do any repairs becuase their was mold present.

    The company owner understood that we were not happy about paying when no significant work was performed so he refunded our money!
