  • He did a phenomenal job with the remodel! He cleaned as he went along, was quick to communicate any issues he discovered along the way and provided us with reasonable options and did not cut corners to ensure the job was done right and stayed within our budget. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He turned a dreaded remodel into a wonderful experience and gave us a beautiful space. We look forward to working with him again!

  • I had Ameri-Dry Waterproofing come to my house to inspect a water problem we

were having in our basement.  We found the inspector, Barry, to be very

knowledgeable and very thorough in his inspection.  He explained everything

to us and answered all of our question, which we had many.  At the end of

the inspection we all sat down and went over our goals and expectations.  We settled on the

Ameri-Dry drain system and found the price to be fair.  The full warranty

was the clincher for us.  They installed the system in less than a week and

I must say the men were very courteous.  They worked very hard and finished

the job in under four days.  The foreman, Barry, ran his crew very efficiently.

Everyone had their job and they performed them to my full satisfaction.

Even though we had dust they cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend Ameri-Dry

and would hire them again if I ever had the need.

  • On time, work was completed as promised. Quality of work was fantastic. Job site was spotless upon completion. Price was a little high but these days you get what you pay for. Highly recommended. Also need to mention Shelly who was extremely helpful with details and questions. Thanks for a great job.

  • The only good comment I have for this company is that they were on time each morning! The job was done half-assed, basement leaked during the first heavy rain two days later, when I called the sales rep back to let him know I was very disappointed and the basement was leaking I couldn't get any response until I let them know that I went to the bank and cancelled the check because it hadn't cleared yet! I was misled on the installation of the encapsulation and it looks like large trash bags duct taped together and the tape is already peeling off and they don't seem to be concern with doing anything to fix it except applying more tape that still won't stick. The two workers doing the job claimed the they wiped the mold off all the floor joists but it just came back when in reality they hadn't even touched some of the worst areas because when the owner came back out to finish the job once I cancelled the check the mold came off just fine. Two two day job took five to complete.

  • After a recent heavy rain. we had about 1 1/2 inches of water in the basement. After cleaning up the mess, we searched Angie's List and found this company. We called. They responded promptly for an initial evaluation and estimate. There was absolutely NO pressure to sign up then and there. After talking with other contracters, we called Ameri-Dry and scheduled a date of service. The work crew arrived promptly as scheduled, worked hard, and actually left the basement and driveway cleaner than when they started. The crew were polite, concerned, and answered all our questions. When the work was completed, Barry, the foreman, came and once again went over what they had done and answered any questions or concerns we had.
We highly recommend this company. Of course, we haven't had the weather again to test the system, but will let you know.

It is now almost 2 months and several severe rainstorms later. The basement remains dry.

  • I really wanted to to put in a wood burning stove in my basement to help with my heating bill, but every time it rained my basement would flood. I called the guys at Ameri-dry. They first sent out Chad, their inspector. He was very knowledgable and walked me through step by step of how they could fix my problem and their life of the structure warranty. After he did his inspection inside and out, we sat down and worked up a price and set a date for the installation. The day the installation started Barry and His crew showed up early and got right to work. They took  the time to explain to me some of the steps in the process. They worked very hard breaking concrete and digging the trench and pit. They also shored up a wall that was cracked almost the whole length by installing two steel I-beams.They finished by reconcreteing my floor and hooking up the sump pump. They hauled all the dirt and cleaned up after themselves. Barry did a walk through with me and again explained how it worked. Since then I haven't had a drop of water in my basement. I now have my wood stove and it has helped out on my heating bill.

  • AMERI-DRY  SENT OUT THEIR INSPECTOR CHAD TO EXPLAIN HOW THE SYSTEM WORKED AND THE PROCESS OF HOW IT WOULD BE INSTALLED. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE SYSTEM AND HOW IT OPERATED. THE DAY BEFORE AMERI-DRY WAS TO SHOW UP THEY CALLED TO LET ME KNOW WHAT TIME THEY WOULD BE THERE TO START THE JOB.  THE PROCESS STARTED BY BARRY AND HIS CREW  REMOVING 12 INCH OF MY FLOOR AROUND THE 3 LEAKING WALLS. THE CREW THAN  DUG DOWN BESIDE THE FOOTER OF MY HOME AND INSTALL THE DRAIN SYSTEM.  THE SYSTEM WAS TIED INTO A SUMP PUMP BASIN. BARRY THAN INSTALLED A SUMP PUMP IN THE BASIN. THEY THAN INSTALL A WALL BOARD AROUND THE THREE WALLS AND RE-CONCRETE THE FLOOR.  THEY HALLED AWAY ALL DEBRIS AND CLEAN UP ALL OF THEIR MESS AND SOME OF THE MESS THAT WAS NOT THEIRS. WHEN THEY WERE ALL DONE BARRY WALKED ME THOUGH AND WENT OVER HOW THE SYSTEM WORKED AGAIN AND THE WARRANTY(WHICH WAS GREAT). I HAVE NOW INSTALLED A DEN AND BATHROOM IN A AREA THAT I THOUGHT WAS GOING TO BE USELESS TILL I MET AMERI-DRY

  • Sonny first arrived in January 2012, to begin the excavation of the addition. He was always pleasant, explained steps when I had questions, and my first indication of his extra care on the job was when the contractor told me my lilac bushes had to go, and I objected. Sonny gently scooped them up and laid them aside until they could be replanted. When he worked on the other side of the house, he also gently dug up my peony bushes and moved them for me. I was also putting in a small deck next to my garage, and the man who was trying to dig the footings was having difficulty, given our hard red clay. Sonny came in and, using one of his pieces of equipment, quickly dug the footings.
Sonny and his son Paul are both professionals who are polite, kind, and highly skilled. I can highly recommend them.

  • After complaing for almost 5 months when the waste began to pool in the side yard, David Lamons finally buried the tank and installed a few pipes which extended about 6 feet out from the tank. It wasn't long until the waste water from the septic began to pool up in the side yard and we were unable to mow the side yard and a portion of the front as the waste was seeping up through the ground. David Lamons offered to bring us a riding mower so that we would not have to walk through the unsanitary muck. David Lamons told us if we would buy the parts and repair the riding mower, we could use it as long as we needed. My husband is recovering from a stroke over Christmas so he and my 30 year old son bought the parts and repaired the mower. When David came to see if the mower would start (it did) he had my husband and my sons load the mower onto his truck for him to take home and make it run better. We never heard about the mower ever again. The stench was unbearable and the mosquito infestation posed a serious health hazard. We spent our time an money to landscape and beautify the property as we felt like it was our home. David Lamon's very own Mortgage Broker from the bank even came to our home and took pictures of how nice the place looked and what a great job we had done in fixing it up. We built flowerbeds, lattice for the front deck, walkways, purchased shrubs and thinned the wooded areas of the 4 acre property. We had never missed a rent or bill payment as long as we have lived here. We were very disappointed when David Lamons went on a weekend vacation rather than completing the necessary septic repairs. Our lease agreement specified that we could NOT make or have any repairs made to the property, rather we should send notice by certified mail. Upon sending the letter begging them to please fix our septic problem, they decided to send us an eviction notice stating that suddenly they were going to 'sell' the property. My husband is recovering from a stroke and my 16 year old Autistic son had just started the school year and they have little conscience about putting us out on the street rather than fixing our septic lines. It is clear that the Lamons would have human beings living in their own waste quietly. David called my home and would not let me get in a single word. He proceeded to yell into the phone at which time I hung up. A minute later when I attempted to phone my husband at work there was no dial tone available as David was still yelling into the phone at me. It was only a few minutes later when I was finally able to dial out. My son also rented the home next door and his A/C was out for a month, when he complained he was promptly evicted. I do not recommend using the Lamons for any business purposes, especially if you are looking for a home to rent.
