    The Service Co
The Service Company has been my go-to for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing service since 2014 when I was first introduced to them. I truly don't know what I would do without these guys. Joe and Paul are two of the kindest people I've ever met. Joe's wife, Paige, is also incredibly kind, and she's always very responsive to calls and emails, whether in an emergency or just routine service. These great folks make you feel like family, genuinely, without even trying. In a world full of negatives, I always know that doing business with The Service Company is going to be a positive experience. Joe is one of the most professional people with which to conduct business, but he's also friendly, approachable and relatable. He explains things to homeowners in ways that they understand exactly what's going on, what options are available, and the best resolution given whatever situation arises. I've encountered just about every situation that requires help from businesses like The Service Company. It is a relief to know that, at least with regard to HVAC, electrical and plumbing needs, I never have to worry, since I have the best folks looking out for me. You will absolutely not regret reaching out to The Service Company when your home needs TLC. They are the real deal, and if youre like me and dont have time for anything but honesty, reliability, and competitive prices, do yourself a favor and call The Service Company. They will not disappoint.

It was good. If it hadn't been for cleanup it would be an A. The price was a little high. I had to have extensive, almost all of the electrical in the downstairs of my two story house repaired. They also put in canned lighting. That was excellent. They fished it through the top of the ceiling. I don't know how they did it. It looks amazing. They patched it up. They didn't do any damage really when they did it. I don't know how they did that, but they obviously knew what they were doing.

The price was $45 per hour. He could improve on the timeliness. He was very slow and he would tell us that something would take 3 hours. Like one day he was here for 7 hours on a job that should have been about 3 hours. So because we were paying hourly, it ended up being quite a bit. The work ended up being ok but he kinda messed something up and then he had to fix it. We got charged for part of his mistake. He did end up fixing it but like I said, we got charged for half of it. He said I'll split it in half with you. I didn't feel like we should have to pay for any mistake he made.

He wasn't the best with cleaning up. I had to go behind him and clean up cords and dust. He didn't really attempt to clean up that well. If I was rating it with the letters again, I would give him a C. That's about average.

He was very friendly. When we would call him, he would call us back right away. He was good about returning messages. The quality of work, once he got done, it seemed pretty good. The problems were the length. He had been here twice, and the first time it was pretty good. The second time it took forever, for something that he said would take no longer than 3 hours. We had had someone else look at it and they had said it would take about that long.  He was here for 7 hours. It kind of ruined our day. We had other things planned.

    Carl Slate Contracting
Once again, we were not disappointed. His head carpenter Doug now mostly supervises the jobs for Carl. Carl is an older gentlemen and cannot get around like he used to, but his experience and knowledge is impeccable. As long as you give Carl and Doug exactly what is is you are wanting, they deliver. We couldn't be more pleased with the new much needed playroom and bathroom. They started the project in the hottest part of the summer so it took a little extra time just because they couldn't be up in the stifling attic for hours on end until they were able to get the drywall in and the space air conditioned. But we are thrilled with the new spaces and have nothing but respect for Carl, Doug and the guys. His subs were professional and also did a great job. Thank you Carl, Doug and Brian.

    Kriste Maintenance Service
I don't worry about falling down due to the ample light these LED lights provide. Geary's attention to every detail made me happy I finally addressed these issues that bothered me for so long, e.g. chalking around the sinks and tub, replace all smoke detectors. Very nicely done.

    Kriste Maintenance Service
Several years ago, we had a leaky bay window. Several roofers later (who couldn't figure out the problem), Geary found the leak and repaired it. In fact, he stayed late that day (working past dark) to install flashing around the chimney because rain was in the forecast. That's just one example...I have too many stories to count of Geary going the extra mile. On top of the quality of his work, Geary is a genuinely great guy who will care about you and your home. You will do no better than Kriste Maintenance Service.

Very personable and wants to get to work.  Walked me through my issue with ceiling fan (wires crossed), and overall great service.

I would call Alan again for electrical advise/work...

    HandyPros Property Services
It took longer than we thought. He was slow getting things done and had nobody helping him. He did most of the work he was supposed to do but it is the quality of his work that is awful. He installed the kitchen tiles directly onto the plywood floor which right away caused pops and cracking. The grout was spotty and breaking away in pieces even before he completed the job. The backroom he used backer board under the tiles and was to do the kitchen the same way but didn't and not sure why not. The wall where the new refrigerator is placed is unfinished and he did not trim the cabinet so it sets in the space well. The cabinet next to the refrigerator that has a piece of granite on it is not glued down and moves. The backsplash he installed had trowel scratches all over it. The trim pieces put back and the quarter round are battered from when removed and not primed, fixed or painted.

When confronted about the floor tile he made a bunch of excuses that we knew weren't right. In regards to the backsplash he claims we did it. He got very mean and insulting not anything like a professional business person should. We thought about having him come back and fix what was wrong but he was not admitting to anything being his fault. We then decided to get estimates to have things fixed and I emailed him giving him the opportunity to reimburse us for the poor job done and have heard nothing back. He puts the word integrity in all his advertisements but that is the one thing he does not have.

    Electrical Innovations
Gary and his son Ken are the hardest working guys i've ever seen!  I am delighted with the excellence and professionalism of the huge job they did at my house.  I cannot say enough about them,  you don't find this level of competence or expertise much these days!  Everything they did was spot on, and i know a bit about electricity.
They sorted out all kinds of issues with the main panel, removed old wires and circuits that were no longer used, installed new correct breakers, new circuit and panel in basement for new outlets and service, new GFI outlets in kitchen and bathrooms, new ceiling heater timers, corrected all problems that had been noted by home inspector, installed some new fixtures after old ones were removed, corrected all sorts of other wiring problems.  These guys just did an excellent job, over and above what i thought i would get done.  I am very pleased and will gladly hire them again, and reccomend them to anyone needing the best in electrical work.

    One Call Home Team LLC
They completed a 3 car car port attached to our existing house.
They poured a concrete pad for the car port plus  40 ft of curb enhancing sidewalk.
They added a bedroom and a bonus room above the car port. This bonus room is our new theater room.  They mounted the large flat screen tv, and installed theater seating, with the electric outlet in the floor.  To that room they build a deck. They also build a deck off of a lower level room that was our theater room now converted to an office.
While here, they completed items on a home inspection (painting, plumbing, electric, carpet installation, tile floor repair, etc) we needed in order to make the home ready for sale. This $50K has added over $100K to my equity!
It looks great.  Lots of good feedback from the realtors too! Can't wait for a full price offer and I know I will have One Call Home Team to thank.
